Fellow was quite knowlegeable. knowlegable.
Smart.
But be prepared to spend half an hour at least waiting as they find an expert for you, then his computer gives him the question, he answers, then the computer ruminates to get it back to you.

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. By asking a question they automatically sign you up to a service that costs you a monthly fee! I’m surprised that this is legal.

I had my modem and thus my landline moved to the living room. But did not want the phone to ring from the base unit. The technition gave very clear instructions and problem solved.
My only problem then was trying to find out how to cancel after the 7 day trial I paid for. Still don't know, but still hoping to get an answer.

I have used JustvAnswer twice and have been very pleased. I was having an issue with my printer being off line. The tech was knowledgeable and took care of the problem right away. The cost is very reasonable and there is no “upwelling” just fixing the problem.

I am happy and am very satisfied with the service. However, It clearly states is a 7 day trial, but it does not say anywhere how much is the fee, and the customer service ph no. To cancel the trial period. Does anyone know?

I HAD A VEXING QUESTION ABOUT MY DISHWASHER. mysteriously THE LOCKED LIGHT WENT ON AND THERE APPEARED TO BE NO WAY TO GET THE WASHER UNLOCKED. I read every word of the owner's manual, called Kenmore and checked on line, but to no avail. Then I decided to try JustAnswer. I was suspicious, but I needed to clean the dishes for a party in the next two hours and the washer would not respond to my efforts are unlocking it. I provided the model number to the tech and had an answer in less than three minutes. Really? I what world does one get an answer in three minutes? Quantum computers or 5G?
I have read the less than stellar reviews with this service (JustAnswer). Perhaps those reviews are correct or reasonably motivated, but as to questions about mechanical devices such as dishwashers I think this is a great service. The technician had exactly the advice I needed. This advice was not in my owner's manual and it was not available from Kenmore on line. There is no way I could have figured this out on my own or using the manual. I read the entire manual and it was not there. I reread the manual after getting the advice from the tech at JustAnswer thinking I may have missed something. The tech advice was not in the manual.
This is an excellent service for reasonable human beings who have a tech question for mechanical matters such as dishwashers.

I have no idea how the tech got this or knew it, but it saved me time, bother and a call to an appliance maintenance guy which I suppose would have cost more money.
the service is great. No adverse comments here.

1.) Charged me for bad advice that wasted over an hour of my time
2.) Sneaky automatic recurring weekly/monthly change without; retaining credit card information without clearly communicating it is a manipulative business practice
3.) Triggering a chat that forces me to provide feedback when I press "Cancel membership." Not allowing users to cancel their membership after they have explicitly taken an action on the website to cancel.

ZERO stars. Sleaze bag operation. Site tells you it will charge you $5 to ask a question and there's a 7-day trial period. It might answer the question, but fails to tell you that there is a charge for the answer and how much that charge is. Then, a "membership" appears on your credit card statement. Our charge was $46. This, we were told, was a monthly fee that we never agreed to pay on the site. We received NO notification via e-mail, text or phone that this charge would be made. None.

Go to a professional if you want an answer.

I was pleased with the information that Wayne gave me. When I passed the information on to the repair shop, they got defensive, but in the end decided to at least listen to me. Thank you for your support.
