Thanks for turning a stressful situation into a calm one. I was beyond stressed out, and after communicating with you, it was like a walk in the park.

JustAnswer poped up when I am searching for advice on how to perform some maintenance on my car. The technician connected is excellent. He answered all my questions right to the point, and solved all 4 my problems. This was a very pleasant experience that I would never forgot.

My experience with JustAnswer*** was nothing but positive. I needed to get advice that would help me consider how to proceed with clearing up a legal/insurance issue. From the initial contact with Pearl through their website, their background questions for me were clear. The fee for a few paragraphs of good advice was very modest, and the ensuing response was quick and concise. I would recommend this business for their good service.

Even after thirtyone years as a heavy equipment mechanic I need help sometimes*** knew exactly where the check valve was that I was looking for,so he will be my go to guy from now on. Maybe I should of went to Wyotech other than hard knocks.

Returned an answer to my question promptly! Answer was exactly what I had been researching but I needed the confidence from hearing it from a professional.

I had a forced air furnace that kept recycling but not staying on. *** from JustAnswer asked me some questions and then told me how to fix the problem. His diagnosis was spot on and the problem was fixed without having to buy new parts.

I authorised a $5.00 charge for JustAnswer to assist with a CD player question. The solution was arrived at. JustAnswer then charged to my credit card a $46.00 fee for 'membership'. I did not/have not authorised any such charge to my credit card for any such 'membership'. This, in my opinion constitutes 'fraud'. Looking at Revdex.com and other sites it appears that there are hundreds if not thousands of cases similar to mine involving JustAnswer.

Please be advised that I contacted Just Answer to have them help me resolve a issue I was having with a email and browser issue. I First went to the Microsoft website and was referred to Just Answer for a 7 day trial of $5.00. I provided my credit card info and then put thru to a Tech named *** to help me troubleshoot the issue. We first did a chat online back in forth trying to resolve issue and then he asked if he could take over my computer thru a program called Connect Wise Control. I agreed and the he took over. I first started to try to point out issues I was having thru my mouse and then he rudely texted me not to do anything and let him take control and do what he needed to do. After 3 to 4 minutes of just watching window say massages received and messages sent. I asked him what he was doing with no answer I went ahead and disconnected the remote access and filled out the survey of the expert and gave a one star rating. I was starting to fill in some remarks when I saw the arrow move on my laptop screen and change the 1 star to a 3 star rating. The expert had changed the rating without my consent on his own. I quickly called the customer service phone # and spoke to a rep *** and told her what had just happened. She took my complaint and then went on to tell me that the expert could not and had no way to access or change rating after I had seen it firsthand right before my eyes. As I was talking to her a screen popped up and said the Connect Wise Control had just ended the session. I told her that and she quickly let me know that there would be an extra charge to my CC for that access. First I was not made aware of any additional charge to allow expert to gain access and then it appeared that all she was worried about was the money and not the fact that the expert had just changed the rating I had given him for poor service. I asked her to let me speak to a supervisor which she said that they would have to call me back. I truly feel that what just happened was criminal with me not giving consent to change anything after I had closed out of window for access. I feel that my laptop was highjacked.

very disgusting and misleading website - just seeking help for my pet after spending thousands on vet bills. am not enrolling in program and am aghast that you are interested in making money and not helping companion animals

Thank you for reaching out to us about this. We're sorry to hear that you disagree with the service that we provide. There are a lot of free sources of information on the internet however JustAnswer has never been one of them.
The licensed veterinarians that answer questions on our website also have their own practices in many cases. The cost of posting a question to our website and speaking with a Vet is dramatically lower than travelling to a Vet in person, as well as being more convenient, however, there may be free services available through local non-profits or Vet volunteer days.

I was under the impression I was paying $5.00 for one time to ask a question, then I found a charge on my credit card not only for the $5.00 but on the 11th of the next month I was charged $46.00 and then again on the on the 1st of the next month another $46.00 saying it was a membership fee?
I called the company for I had no idea they kept my credit card info on file and cancelled the service (something I didn't know I signed up for) but they would not reverse the one charge I asked them to reverse that was on my credit card, my bad for the first charge for not noticing it on my bill I was willing to forgo that charge.
The Representative told me I signed up automatically after a 7 day free trial? She said I could have cancelled and not have had to pay the membership fee if I'd have done it within the 7 days, remember I didn't even know I was a member...
Beware of this company, that flat out refused to refund one of the fees they charged.

The membership does continue billing after the end of the trial in order to prevent a disruption in service.
We do send out a recurring payment reminder 3-days prior to each billing, as well as a number of marketing E-mails regarding the benefits of using the membership.

ZERO STARS!!! I asked some medical advice and was charged $5 for a 7 day trial. No where did they tell me on the site or in an email that I would be charged $46 if I don't cancel. $46 for one month?!?!? I tried contacting customer service through online chat and phone. Both times I was given the brush off and told that's just the way it is. I called my bank and am disputing the charge.

They pretended to be be Epson printer help. They said I should put in my charge,but I could get the $5. back. I have a screen shoot. There is no way I can find to contact them to either get my $5. back, or to cancel. I have told my bank to cancel the charge, and to reject future charges. It is con.

Way cheaper than emergency room or even a vet visit.

ok as of right now I,m happy . I talked with craig about my brake problem and he confirmed what I needed to do . now that I have read some reviews I,m a little nervous about my account . I,m on a 1 week trial only . so we shall see . but thanks for the help

Paid $5 "refundable" for research on a book value...not refunded, then they charged my bank account $28 less than two weeks later. My bank flagged as possible fraudulent, I got that $28 back but then they charged $28 again! I am furious! "Chatted" with customer service and they refused to refund that $28! They stated "policy doesn't permit" membership refunds and I was totally unaware I had a "membership". When I got charged the second $28 I decided to "go look" at their site...sure enough, I had an account I was completely unaware of. I cancelled and demanded a refund but got no satisfaction. Do not use this company!!
