Our 11 year old *** was having vomiting and diarrhea. It was a weekend. I was very relieved to get suggestions from a vet for how to treat her. It resolved itself in Two dye by using the vets recommendations and I was glad to save on a vet bill too.

I really appreciate the attitude, even though it was a Sunday afternoon, the lawyer Ben was willing to chat with me and helped me with information in time, which was mostly important in my case!

I agreed to a $5.00 charge for an answer, but after three days, I still had not received one. Then I was asked to join a yearly membership for $28.00, which I declined. My next Discover statement had a charge for $28.00 on February 5, in addition to the $5.00 charge. I called Christina, who stated that the charge would be credited. To verify the credit, I called JUSTANSWER again on February 21, and talked to Calffie, who stated that the charge would be removed on March 5, 2019. Quite frankly, I don't believe the company will honor this date. So, if not, I will be forwarding this situation to the proper legal authorities.
My initial request from you was dated January 29,2019, and it involved a question about a Kenmore water softener.

Like another customer, I paid the deposit to get an answer. They said I got a free trial. Instead I got the $5.00 charge and two other charges. One for $39.00 and one for $33.00. I called the number on the bill and got the run-around. The rep said the $39 charge was for the expert’s time. The $33 charge was not really explained. I feel scammed.

Its a run around; advertise refund $5.00 but won't refund! Dont waste your time or money. My rating is NO star

In looing at your account we can see that you posted an Appliance question on 2/18/2019 and received a response from a technician 56 seconds later. You then called to request a refund a few minutes after that and a refund was granted the same day.

I asked a simple legal question on January 16, 2019 and agreed to the $5 fee. There was nothing mentioned about a membership fee. I just received my AmExp statement and you here is the $5 charge plus a $40 charge for the same question.;AmExp just told me I also have a $55 charge which is a membership fee.. none of this, other than the $5, did I agree to.
I called the customer service department and they could not even locate my account. I finally maneuvered hrough their site and cancelled everything. Also disputed the charges with Am Exp.... do not use this service unless you have lots of money to throw away

In looking at your account it looks like you posted 4 separate legal questions, which was the cause for the multiple charges. It does also appear that you had opted into the membership program which covered the last 2 questions.
To put things in context, the same legal advice and information form an in-office visit with an attorney, could have costed in excess of $400 To date, we can confirm that your total out of pocket cost for the advice has been $5.00.

Do not do business with this company. They are deceptive. They charge for services not rendered. I was having trouble with my Turbo Tax software so I Googled Turbo Tax help and was directed to Just Answer. I paid $5 through my debit card and asked a question which they were unable to answer. I was frustrated and decided I would take the $5 loss but would not do business with Just Answer again. A week later, Just Answer took $46 from my checking account. I called to find out what that was about and they said my week's trial membership was over so they were charging me the full membership fee. Nowhere had they told me about a $46 charge or that I would be charged it a week later. I called to get my money refunded and they said that was impossible. I promised I would never to use their service again but they refused to give me my money back, repeating that I could still use the service for another month. PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH JUST ANSWE$ !!!

Received unauthorized charges for a "Trial" subscription of $4.50 that I never signed up for. Then received a charge for a "Membership" for $46 that I also never signed up for or agreed to. I also received 5 charges of 10 cents for queries I don't believe I ever made. Judging by the other complaints made, JUSTANSWER is a complete scam.

I was having trouble getting my Majic Jack Go to work the way I wanted it to. They found the problem and needless to say it is working great now. Thank you.

This is an excellent way to connect people with experts in any given field. It's priced appropriately and it even allows you to go further with any of their pros via a call.
I use it regularly to get specific accounting, tax, law, and other simple answers direct from professionals in the field as opposed of going through google and having to filter through the crap.
The membership (from my pov) was clearly explained and disclosed at signup so I don't understand why so many people complain about it. I do think that it's only worth it if you use it regularly, though.
Oh, and you must understand that this is not a consultation, or in depth analysis of a problem. Especially when considering medical or law advice. It's silly to think that you will get an expert to solve a complex problem without seeing you, via chat, for less than 40 dollars a month…
All in all, I'm very happy with JustAnswer and will continue using their services.

It was not what I wanted to hear, but the technician took his time to explain my options and why he suggested I let a pro do this repair.

I was skeptical about using the services that JustAnswer provides to diagnose my computer issue. I must tell you I was most concerned about letting someone control my computer functions.
