I asked a question about my dogs. I had asked through the *** service before this. The *** service just said "Take your dog to the vet immediately" with no explanation. The veterinarian I spoke with through JustAnswer gave a complete answer with exactly what I needed to watch for, and that it wasn't actually serious enough to go to the vet. I am completely satisfied with this experience.
Terrible, fraud company. Fake people, no actual experts. They just keep contacting asking for more money and ask the same questions repeatedly regardless of how you answer. COMPLETE FRAUD.

I regards to Just Answer ,I phoned them in a situation regarding a product, they charged me $5.50 then $39.00 for Tech Help and additional $46.00 for an Membership which I did not ask for and on my Credit Card...I cut and pasted a similar complaint just to add to the list. These people are dishonest and take advantage of customers.

Stay away from these scam artists! Do not give them any information. They will bill you and you will not get your money back from them even though they say 100% money back guarantee no questions asked ! I didn't even ask a question and they billed my CC acct as we texted! Hackers and scammers !
I called this company on 1/21/19 to ask a question. I was given a very generic answer that I had already found elsewhere online. They said it was $5 for the information, so I paid that. No one explained the $28 fee if I didn't cancel within "7" days. I called on 1/28/19 to cancel and asked for a refund of the $28 that I had been charged. They claim that they start counting days on the first day you call. That's absurd. I spoke with a "supervisor" who claimed that it was explained to me about how they count days. Their "method" of counting is utterly ridiculous and I believe designed to get money out of unsuspecting people. Maybe some people would let this go, but I simply don't have $28 to waste. My question to them had been getting an estimate for selling 2 pianos because I need the money to pay some of my medical bills. What a rip-off company!!!!

We do have messaging on the payment page where your billing information is entered that explains the membership billing schedule and benefits. We also sent a payment reminder E-mail to you on 1/25/2018, 3 days prior to membership billing, that provides the same details regarding the billing date and amount as well as alink to cancel.
In looking at your account it appears that you were able to cancel the membership and process your own refund form the Help Center.

I contacted JustAnswer online on Jan 21/19 for help with fixing the door lock on my washing machine. They said they could help and they needed $5 on a charge card which would be refunded. We were able to fix the machine problem, BUT.....the $5 charge showed up on our Visa statement along with a charge for $49. It was not stated that there would be further charges. I am willing to pay for good services, but NOT through deception or omission of details. I called the JustAnswer line on Jan 25/19 and talked to an agent and told her of my dissatisfaction. She assured me that the money would be refunded immediately and that I would receive an email verification. Neither of these things has happened!

I paid $5.00 for one question. Then I get Charged $34.00 2 weeks later. I called to see what the charge was for and they told me I signed up for a monthly membership. I explained I did not sign up for a membership and do not want to a membership. I was given this sales pitch of all the benefits of a membership and I said I didn't sign up for it and I want it canceled. I was told they would cancel my membership but could not cancel the $34.00 I was all ready charged. This is a rip off and I should not be charged $34.00. I paid $5.00 for one question which was my understanding of what I would be charged in total for one Question.

I payed $5 for JustAnswer to answer a few questions, and then canceled my subscription. I got a confirmation email, stating it was successfully canceled, and I wouldn’t be charged again. After a month I was charged $34 for a monthly subscription. I sent an email to get a refund, and forwarded the copy of the email I received as proof. I was told I could not get a refund. They essentially robbed me, and provided no services. They should get zero stars but this software won’t allow me.
This company is a scam! Once they have your information you can't get out of their continuous charges to your card! BEWARE the 100% satisfaction guarantee is a sham, they will continuously bill you for unwarranted advice! You're a member for life (with you paying and paying for unauthorised invoicing). BAD NEWS COMPANY and the worse is that they just don't care.. SAD.

Once you have opted into the membership program the billing does continue on a monthly basis to avoid an interruption in service. Similar to your phone or cable bill or any number of other subscription services.
We can confirm that it looks like you logged back into your account and cancelled and refunded your own membership on 1/26/2019.

Fraudulent or at the very least, misleading information on the JUST ANSWER web site. There is a $5 one time question offer. if accepted, the user winds up with a credit card charge for $46 for a year's membership without user having agreed to it. Both the $5 and the $46 charge appear on the credit card statement I just received..
I have notified JUST ANSWER that I expect a credit OF $46 on my card. The national Revdex.com shows multiple complaints about the same thing I am reporting having experienced with JUST ANSWER.
I never would recommend this business to anyone. I suspect the one time trial question offer for $5 is deliberately misleading.
This company has evolved into a scam. As soon as you sign up for a trial membership and realize no one is answering your question - just try canceling that trial. I tried to cancel my 7 day trial about an hour after I signed up. The website says cancel anytime..just click here.
Well the link you click opens up a chat box with a high powered sales bot. They won't cancel your membership immediately and will try and sell you "deal" like serius xm radio. This whole ordeal took several hours.
I had to call the 1800 number to cancel and they refused to give me confirmation of any kind.
I was told - trust us -we will send you a confirmation within 2 days by email. Well that never happened and even now I don't know if they will try and keep charging my card.
Luckily I used a virtual cc # as I do for all internet transactions.
Please do yourself a favor and look up reviews on consumer reports!

I have used them twice. First time they were good about answering but there was some weird billing going on. I cancelled because they pushed me into a membership. I used them again two weeks ago, the doctor never responded. I asked for a refund and they gave me back the $5.00 deposit. Today I looked at my bank statement and they are billing me more membership fees at $39.00. I am sure they do this on purpose because this happened to the friends that told me about it as well. STAY AWAY

I wanted a second opinion from a qualified vet about my cat. I am very satisfied with the answers I got from Dr. John. He advised me to bring the cat back to the local vet for more testing, and told me which tests to ask for. My cat has a vet appointment for today, so I'll see how it goes. *** also sent a follow-up email to ask how the cat is doing. Would recommend to friends and family who need the advice of a good vet for their furry friends.
I purchased a new printer. Unfortunately it arrived without the proper drivers to help it connect to my household modem, Michelle, very patiently, listen to my feeble explanation of the problem. She took remote control of my laptop, scanned my printer, installed the needed drivers and WOW! I highly recommend Just Answer.

My TV was malfunctioning. It worked but was locked on one channel, from which I could not change. I contacted your company. The person who responded was able to quickly resolve the problem. He asked a couple of questions, re: Brand and model number of the TV and what kind of remote I was using (cable). He had me disconnect my cable box, wait for 5 minutes, reconnect it and wait another 5 minutes before trying it. It worked. I asked him what likely caused the problem. He replied that it was likely a software problem and that these things happen periodically. The only downside is I had to wait 15-20 minutes before he came on..
