I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Ashley's response is not true.  The technician advised me that he will advise the store to replace them for free.  Since I had no response from Ashley, I again contacted them (5) more times and then their excuse now was that the cushions were not covered.  I had to take the technician's word that it is the cushion, since he knew that the springs are still covered under the warranty.  So Ashley used the cushions as an alternative excuse so they will not replace them.  Again, as stated in my original complaint, I was the one always contacting them since they not only did not respond to me but also kept referring me to different people and with false promises.

I will wait to hear back from the insurance company.

[redacted]’s situation, we have found that the items in question are from 2014.  Those items are outside of the one year manufacturing warranty.  We have offered a 40% discount to keep the items As Is and [redacted] accepted that offer.  The credit has been processed and it is in the amount of $872.51.  The credit is at the Niles retail location for the customer to use within 60 days.  This was processed on 12/20/17 so the credit will need to be used by 2/17/18 or it will expire. These items are leather, they are not 100% leather but they are leather units. Only the cushions, arms and inside back are 100% leather. There is nothing more Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc. can do for this customer as they are out of the warranty on the items and have accepted a 40% in store credit to keep them As Is. I have contacted the store several times for proof.  They can't provide me with anything that I signed showing that I accepted the 12 months no interest financing terms thru Genesis.  I strongly believed that they changed my contract behind my back without my consent or approval.
