I called Chas roberts on 6/20/to report my a/c making noise and was not coolingThey scheduled me for Friday, which I was hoping would hold up I called Chas roberts about my A/C which completely broke down on Tuesday 6/21/16, I called several times on 6/22/after being told in the morning that they were coming at some time on 6/22/to fix the A/CAt 7:30pm I recieved a call saying they were two houses away from getting to my house, that it would be late but they were coming, finally at 1am I called again, and basically the operator told me I had no choice but to wait that if they said they are coming to fix my air they are coming because there was no way of contacting the techs because they turned off the pagers due to too many calls, mind you this is a brand new house approx months oldNobody ever came to fix my a/c, I called 6/at and they told me that there is a note that I the owner rescheduled for today, all the while I was in the house all night with my thr
I'm a new homeowner and new to having an A/C unit My first service call to Chas Roberts was to report that my A/C had experienced a power surge as the result of being struck by lightening during a (monsoon) storm
The office suggested that although the A/C appeared to me to be working okay, I allow a service technician to come out to perform and inspection to ensure the unit was not damaged and was working properly
The service techinican (Francisco) was very professional, courteous and thorough as he explained to me the steps he was taking to troubleshoot as I personally observed his work during most of the visit In addition to makng sure the A/C was working properly, Francisco did a quick check of the heating unit and also checked all vents to ensure there was proper airflow throughout my home
If all of the technicians provide the excellent customer service that Francisco did, then I will continue to rely on ChasRoberts for all of my HVAC needs!
Ben S*** was out to my home in Vail on July because my A/C wasn't cooling and my thermostat wasn't cooling below degrees He quickly determined the issue was a faulty Evaporator He thoroughly explained the issue, that he'd had the part ordered/expedited and that when I was called to schedule an appointment to request a morning appointment because this would take a minimum of 4-hours but likely longerUnderstand my AC had not been cooling and it was progressively getting hotter in the house for a weekWith temps breaking records last week and exceeding daily by the time Ben came out I was cranky Ben has the nicest persona and he was so helpful and calm, he made what I was anticipating to be a terrible day end as a great dayI was thrilled to hear Ben will be back tomorrow to install the Evaporator (which by him expediting the part it was delivered in 2-business days!) Chas Roberts just installed a new HVAC unit for meI was very impressed by the service tech's initial visit when he took the time to explain the issues with my year old unit He also compared its repair cost to a new unit The installation crew was great as well, taking care to cover floors and items near the attic access Everything was explained to me throughout the process I couldn't be more satisfied and am also glad that there will be an included check of the system to ensure it is functioningproperly
We arrived home after a trip to a very warm master bedroom in degree weather We called in and were given a window appointment that afternoon Santos arrived and asked questions and was a good listener to determine the issue He explained what he was doing and why, and was able to address the problem and get the a/c unit back up and running very quickly He also did various tests to insure no other problems and that entire system was functioning properly Very Professional and Thorough
I have Chas R*** check my AC unit twice a year and it's been keeping us cool for years now The unit has been well cared for and they've done a good job with replacing parts that have worn out and they've always treated us with respect and integrity My unit is showing signs of age and when it's time to replace it, I will look to Chas Roberts first Their Tech Hector is great!
The water line from the municipal water system to my house was leaking GPM for two months and the only indicator was a gradual increase in usage on our water bill
Santiago arrived on Monday morning and quickly found the leakA quick fix may have been able to be performed but we decided that the risk of a reoccurring leak was not worth having to have this happen againThe line was dug up and replaced inside of a day's time with the land scape stone put back into place
This was some major work done correctly on short noticeThe price was reasonable when you consider the peace of mind of not having to have this kind of disruption in the futureI am glad that these guys were there for us

In practical terms the technician didn't do anything but just take the moneyIt was not worth itThis is the last time we call you guysHe didn't even want to check the capacitors on the compressors which is what I call for, he wanted to charge me more, I measure them with no good attitude and he didn't do a good inspection of the contactorsYour company is not what it used to be, you are just for the money but no for the serviceThat a shame
