The customer was previously advised on 11/17, the intial return was not processed which is why there was a delay in receiving her return creditAt that time she was also advised the credit was adjusted by our Financial Department and to allow an average of seven days from 11/for the return credit to appear on her accountIn addition, we have waived the interest charged assessedAgain, please allow an average of seven days for this credit to appear in your accountWhile we understand the frustration, we appreciate her patience while the credits are applied

We advise the customer to reply with the Kohl's Merchandise Credit number on the back of the card to research the details as to why the balance was removedThere are several factors as to why the balance may have been removed such as fraud due to stolen merchandiseOnce we have the numbers on the back of the card, we will be able to determine the exact reason

Our records indicate a customer initiated $payment was made on December 18, 2014, via telephone by following the phone promptsThe IVR is not able to submit a payment on its own - a verfication process is in place that needs to be completed by the customer On December 19, 2014, our customer made a $phone payment with an associate A customer initiated stop payment was applied to this paymentAs a courtesy to the customer we have applied a $credit as reimbursement for the return check feePlease note that customers may make multiple payments at any time on their account and this is not uncommonRegarding the account closure, the associate confirmed twice if the customer wanted the account closed before proceeding to do soWe apologize for the inconvenience our customer experiencedWhen an account is closed customers are required to reapply if they would like an account in the future
