We need more information if a receipt is not able to be provided. Can the customer specify the date and which store location the return was completed at, if possible, and the amount?

Kohl's has discussed the matter with me on countless occasions, my wife has never been involved.  Regarding the actual complaint and possible resolution,  I've only recently received an email from Kohl's on the matter.  That email contained the only direct phone number I've ever had from Kohl's.   I've returned calls twice during Kohl's business hours, left two messages, and will continue to call.

complaint ID [redacted], and I am letting Kohl's.com know I have contacted Kohl's Store in [redacted], I spoke to one of the managers and she offered to order the chairs again, have one of her employees put it together for me in the store, take the chair from Kohl's.com back, credit my account, then sell me the chair again and take an additional 30% off.  This manager was AMAZING, I should of gone to them from the beginning instead of wasting my time with Kohls.com. Kohls.com should be ashamed of themselves and their lousy, non friendly service. Thank god for facebook, instagram, twitter and all other social media making it easier for us consumers to voice our bad experiences with these unfriendly department stores.

anticipated shipping credit for $20.29, back to the customer's Kohl's Charge account. We advise our customer to allow 10-14 business days for the credit to appear. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Our records indicate the customer's pick-up request was processed 10/19/15, and is scheduled back to our warehouse by 10/22/15.

We have adjusted the customer's Yes 2 You Rewards points to reflect Kohls.com order #3749032782 on 12/24/15. Additionally, we have processed a $20.00 credit to the customer's account for the Kohl's Cash. We apologize for any inconvenience.

We apologize to our customer for the inconvenience they have experienced. A refund for the amount of $42.78 was applied to our customer's account today. The boots were $49.99 minus a 20% discount which came to $39.99 plus tax.  This adjustment will reflect on the account statement.

I did not receive a phone message from Kohl's, as they claim.  Today I called the number on the return receipt. As I write this, have been on hold for over 30 minutes and still have not been connected to a live person.  I can't continually chase after them for this refund.  This is a ridiculous waste of time.

Is the
customer able to provide an image of the item that is defective so we can
partner with our vendor. We can partner with our vendor to inquire to the discrepancies
of the item for our customer. We are more than happy to send our customer a
$25.00 gift card for the inconvenience....

Unfortunately, we are unable to honor a
75% discount on the item.  If the
customer agrees, please have them reply by confirming their mailing

I've never witnessed such abysmal customer service in my life. Kohl's is a very large corporation, probably a multi-million if not billion dollar corporation and yet you cannot help a customer out with their situation. A $600 loss to Kohl's is like loose change, but for a hard working young person like me, it's a huge deal. I don't have that kind of money to just say "Oh well, I guess I'm out $600". No. I work for everything that I make and I willingly chose to spend that hard-earned money at Kohl's because I loved shopping there. It's extremely sad that you are just tossing me aside and you aren't working with me to come to a solution. Please, please help me out here. I am not lying when I said I never received my package. I would not go through all of this trouble unless it was necessary. I really need my money as I am starting to plan my own wedding. I had every intention to use Kohl's for my registry but I am seriously reconsidering as I do not want my wedding guests to have to deal with the kind of issues that I am dealing with. I refuse to accept another denial from Kohl's. And I find it interesting that Kohl's would rather refuse to offer me a refund than keep ALL of my future spending at Kohl's, which will be a lot more that $600, I can guarantee. I probably spend that much within a year, so you can do the math. I already have coworkers refusing to shop at Kohl's because they have heard my horror story so Kohl's is honestly losing a lot of business which is avoidable as long as I can get my credit back. I also would like to avoid ruining my credit because of this, but I also refuse to pay my outstanding balance because I see that as me accepting those charges when I obviously don't. Please help me settle this matter without Kohl's losing anymore business than it already has. Thank you

Our records indicate the customer has been contact by out Risk Management Department who happens such claims regarding this concern. We stand behind the decisions made from this department.

An even exchange can be done with a receipt at any register
for the same item and same price. If the same item is not available, then a
return must be done at our Customer Service desk. If you do not have a receipt
then a refund in the form of a Kohl's Merchandise Credit will be provided for
the item's return value. Kohl’s return/exchange policy is posted in our Customer
Service areas, on the back of our sales receipts, and on our web-site at
Kohls.com for your convenience.

We are more than happy to research our customer's concern. Please have our customer list the order numbers for the orders in question in which the Kohl's Cash was redeemed.

Attached, I have included the rebate sent proof with rejection email and chat with representative of my initial complaint. Also, I have attached the advertisement picture that shows an enticement to buy the most expensive piece of luggage to get the $50 visa prepaid card which is what I am needing to resolve this. Additionally, I know I was eligible for this or the rebate form would not have printed out at the register where the clerk again confirmed I would be getting it.

We apologize, but Kohl’s has not had any reported system issues of this nature. We
do however understand our customer’s frustration with her address issue. We
would like to offer a $25 Kohl’s Gift Card as an invitation to shop with us again.
Please have the customer reply back to this portal if this is acceptable to
them.
