I called and asked if my order had gone through since I used a pre payed card with a low balance (just in case of scam). A woman told me no and confirmed I would not be charged in the future. I put a hundred on the card and thought I'd better check again. Sure enough a man told me I was enrolled in a program and in a week would be deducting money. I cancelled again and made sure he knew I had gotten the cancellation confirmation and was printing it out. No money was taken! They are a bad product and a scam!

Signed up for 14 day trial, was only supposed to pay shipping. I called on the 14th day because I saw a large charge for $172. Would only refund 70%
Would only refund me 70% of an order that I never agreed to paying
100% refund would have been ideal. Never heard of a 70%refund for any service.

Desired Outcome

100% refund

I was on Instagram on 12/20/2019 and saw a free sample of eye cream for this company, I ordered through the website it directed me to. On the site, it stated there would be a 1-time shipping fee of 4.95 to which I placed the order. I then checked my bank account, which I often do after placing the order and saw more charges that I did not agree to. I immediately called and spoke to the representative and told her of this fact, that I only ordered the free sample. The representative tried to give me the other products for half of the price, which was 10.00 plus the shipping, I stated I did not want anything else and to cancel all of it, that I just wanted what they advertised. the rep did not state at that time that it would be a trial sample and that they would charge me 88.46 after the sample. I then received 4 separate emails, to which I have as proof, stating that the eye cream would be canceled. In January I noticed a charge of the 88.46, I called Chase and let them know that I did not authorize any charge and relayed the story, I filed a claim, then in February Chase put the chargeback on the account and stated that this company stated I did not cancel the free trial that I didn't know about, so I called Chase again an let them know the situation and they put the amount back in my account. Chase sent my claim to investigation department and today I get a notice from the chase that this company is stating the same thing and that they would take this amount out again. I called chase to complain and told them that I sent proof to them of the emails of the canellation, the manager stated they got the email proof and would send it back to investigation. I called this company and spoke to Athena the supervisor and told her my issue, she stated that it was a trial and because I said I wanted the free sample, then they would charge after the free trial. I told her that was not mentioned about anything of the nature on instagram and she stated she would not do anything about it.
Product_Or_Service: eye cream
Order_Number: XXXXXE41CC

Desired Outcome

Other (requires explanation) I would like for them to stop trying to bill me for unfair and bogus advertising practices that do not tell the consumer that a free product will be a trial and that they will be charged. this is a bad business ad and trick the consumer, I also would like them to state that in their Instagram or Facebook practices so that the consumer knows from the ad what is going to happen. I have proof of the cancellation through all the emails and will send them if need be.

because they keep trying to charge the account when my bank ask's them if it was authorized, this has happened 3 times. I need an email or proof that the account is closed and that they will not keep trying to charge my account.

Customer Response • Mar 06, 2020

Since I was emailed about the company response stating that the account was closed, today I get another charge on my account for the 88.46 , this is extremely bad business practice and I want something done about it.

Customer Response • Mar 06, 2020

I once again was charged from my bank for this 88.46, so the charge has not been credited to me from the bank, and was told by the bank that I needed to speak to the company. I want this charge credited back to me from the company, so that the bank does not keep reversing this charge from the company. they stated it was up to the company to do this.

I need this company to quit deducting $100 out of my account every month they do not have permission to do so

This business should not be permitted to sign up unaware consumers into unapproved charges, without written notification and agreement.
Thank you for your assistance.

I gave them one star because I had to in order to leave a review. First off, I didn't order from them I got sucked into a scam on slick deals that I could test them out , for $5! Not true!!! I was sucked into ordering with my credit card and they hit you with, buy this, buy that, you could not bypass any of it. I thought , I did not hit anything so they won't charge me. WRONG! I let it go the first time. Then two months later I had a package show up, next order???? Didn't know I ordered one since there was nothing about a monthly sign up. I said I want to send it back, credit my card. They said, ok, but it's a $9 per bottle "re- stocking " charge plus shipping and handling. Are you kidding me? They're statement says, don't want it?, it's on us. NOT TRUE!! Lying scammers and I didn't like it to begin with but since I was stuck with the product for another month and they would. NOT refund my card, I simply HATE this product. It's horrible and my face is dryer now then ever. Please read the reviews and don't get scammed as I did.

This is a scam...!!!!!!!!! I was only going to pay for shipping fee, but my card was charged 88 dollars.. They would not take back the product, unless I payed shipping and a huge amount for their restocking it..I am going to change my bank card because of this..en entire mess,.FALSE ADVERTISING. I had to give 1 star, in order to be able to post this.

I give them a Zero star. They will steal your money. Please don't order their products. This company is full of *** and needs to be shut down. Stealing.

Scam charging my credit card for "free" sample.
I completed a Walgreens survey that promised a "free sample". I selected the free product sample form "la'pura." Upon receiving the "free" samples listed as "Qty:1" three times, I noticed I received three charges on my credit card around the same time adding up to: $74.84. I called the company and the first two times I called I was disconnected. The third time I called the first person, Corey, who responded was not helpful. I asked to speak to his manager and spoke to "Dawn" who would not provide her last name or a specific confirmation number for our conversation. She would not file a complaint for me. She finally said I could receive a "partial refund" for the "free" product sample I had received. She would not provide a confirmation number to me and said I would receive an e-mail. I e-mailed "[email protected]" requesting specific information to file a complaint.
Given the experience of this nontransparent charge I am not confident that they will provide a partial refund for this "free" product sample.

Desired Outcome

Full or "partial refund" that "Dawn" said I would receive. A change in their obscuring practice of listing their product as "free" or "sample" to one that clearly lists it as a COST for a product and specifies the Amount that will be charged.

I want a refund of my money. I did not sign up for this
I received an email indicating that I won a free trial of some skin care products and I would just pay the shipping.

I now have 3 charges of 80+ dollars on my card and I have not received and product. I called the number on my bank statement and they told me that I can't get a refund nor can I return the product. "Charlie" was a real winner to work with. He was rude, and unhelpful. He told me after I threatened to call the Revdex.com that they would refund me 35% of one to the charges. I told him
I wanted it all back and he said he couldn't do that.
All I want is my money refunded and for them to stop charging my card.
No one is giving me any answers and all I want is my money back since I have NO product and don't want it

Desired Outcome

I am seeking a 100 percent refund

Misleading advertising, charged for more than amount agreed upon and signed up automatically for continuous monthly service.Charge not indicated on bi
I received a link to my email for an ad to try a product LaPura wrinkle Freezing Moisturizer. The link indicated a trial for 14 days and only need to pay for shipping of $4.95. I recieved another shipment which alerted me to call and find out why. I was charged 24.95 for both the trial and 2nd delivery. The representative told me over the phone because I used a mastercard instead of Visa or discovery it canceled out what I thought I agreed to on that site. I was told that because I used a mastercard that I will be billed at a "discount" of 24.95. Which they never showed on a paper bill or shipment detailing my purchase or amount. I was also signed up automatically for continuous monthly delivery and billing. Te rep told me it was in the "fine" print when I agreed to the terms and condition. I was finally charged for both deliveries of $4.95 and recieved credit for 19.99. Not satisfied with this site or company practices. Will never err purchase anything on line again.

Desired Outcome

I was also told I would get credit for both transactions but received am email showing a credit for on the 2 charge and will not get credit for the shipping. Not only did the charge go from 4.95 to 24.95, I was also charged again for 4.95 a second time. I will need to call them back again for a second time explaining that what the two just told me she will credit me for has not been done. It feels as though they will wait until the customer becomes frustrated and gives up trying.

La pura sent fake email and shipped a free gift for filling our survey. After getting my card info they began charging it unauthorized transactions
La pura sent a fake email survey everything in the email appeared to be Costco sending me the email. Since I have been Costco member forever I thought this is great free gift after the survey. I filled out the survey and then it asked me to choose my gift and put my credit card in there for shipping cost $3. A month later the company la pura charges my card for multiple transactions of $80 plus dollars. I canceled my card and disputed the charges with my bank. This company knows the banking systems and because I initially engaged in the shipping transaction my bank is not able to refund me the money. So now I have a fraudulent merchant that basically took my cc info and randomly charged it for no services or no products. Literally the same thing as if someone would steal my card number after I handed to them for a grocery purchase.

Desired Outcome

All I am asking is for my $161.00 back. And a compensation of $100 more for the overdraft fees and that happened because of this transaction. I would like a total of $261.00 credit back to me. I also would like Revdex.com to warn people about this company

The company if LaPura skin care or it's subsidiary removed $74.84 on 12/14/19 from my checking account without my authorization. I got an email stating I could get a bottle of La Pura skin cream . Then I discovered three (3) withdrawal from my checking account totally $74.84 from BEAUTHEALTHYSK I am certain this is from La Pura. I cannot reach them by any phone or by email. while I was checking for additional charges, I was charged again on 2/12/2020 for another $84.74!

No stars for me. They offered a free sample but the shipments kept coming at $60/$90. I called to cancel because I didn't open anything..They credited my account only $60...It is definitely a learning experience. If something is too good to be true....itis..

I was told I would be sent a sample of the product for $1.00.
Instead they have sent me 2 bottles of the product and charged my card 24.94 twice.
I ordered a sample of LaPura anti-aging skin cream and was told my debit card would be charged $1.00. They made no mention that I would have a recurring charge. I did not authorize the $24.94 charge on 12/14/2019 or the $24.94 charge on 02/02/2020. They said they are not in the business of products being returned. I was told I would receive an email showing my "account" has been cancelled, but that has not happened yet.

Desired Outcome

Got messaged I had won, gift for being loyal costumer at local Walgreens. All I had to do was pay shipping and handling.

Once all billing was put in, it would try to get me to buy more. I immediately tried to call number. A female answered phone. I stated I wanted to opt out of the transaction. She quickly stated, you just did this and hung up. So I figured I'd lose that money for shipping 5-6 dollars, no big deal. They sent trial size skin care, nothing like they advertised tiny bottle, not a kit. That was on 12/14/19, and then on 12/30/19 there was 88.46 taken out of my account. Had to close account to prevent further money taken out. No refund and no product. Thieves, they steal from innocent people

Desired Outcome

I just want my money back. On 12/14/19 I called number associated with message I received. 1-838-203-4494 . I was rudely spoke to and hung up on. Attempts to call number again on 12/30/19, to complain of 88.46 being taken out of my account. Was unable to get anyone to pick up phone.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I personally did not get a response from company. I was told by my bank, I needed to apply for new card, to prevent any more money taken out , without my consent. I did do that. The bank stated they would credit my account and look into the matter to get it resolved. I then recieved noticed that they evaluated my claim with information I sent and determined an error did not occur and that charges were valid and they reversed the money they put in my account and took back out the $88.46 .
I am out that money with nothing to show for it. I have struggled to get Bill's paid, while that may not seem like much , it is to me.

Free trial offer to try wrinkle cream offered by Duchess Meghan Markle. Shipments are continuing even though I never placed an order.
I saw a free trial offer to try wrinkle cream offered by Duchess Meghan Markle. Upon inputting information of address for the trial offer to be shipped and hitting the key along with my telephone, I received an immediate telephone call. The caller begin asking for my address and asked for a credit card number whereupon I became suspicious and would not provide any further information. The shipment of a small jar of the cream came in and the shipments are continuing even though I never placed an order. Initial shipments showed no return address. So, I called the phone number shown on the packing slip. I called the number to obtain the address to return the items since I never placed an order for the cream. The representative on the other end kept asking questions attempting to get information to confirm my address, telephone number and kept saying for the cream "you" ordered. In every instance, I said I did not place an order for the cream and if you have somehow obtained any of my banking or credit card information, I will dispute the charges and instruct the institutions not to make payment. The representative continued to make the same repetitive statement "the cream you ordered" ; confirm your address, telephone number etc. Each time she would pause as if the call was being recorded and she was editing whatever was being recorded to alter the record of what was being said. I finally said why do you seem to be putting me on hold? Are you recording this information? She did not respond but continued to ask the same questions and kept pausing the call. I finally said I am tired of this; I did not place an order; do not want your product. I would like a return address so that I can return the cream that you continue to ship without me having ordered or authorize you to ship to me. She continue to pursue obtaining more information on me. So, I finally said I am tired of this and hung up the phone. This appears to be a hoax. These business practices do not appear to be proper; rather, it appears that this firm is practicing somehow distributing cream by offering a free trail of cream for wrinkles in the face using the name of a notable public figure as in my case, Meaghan Markle. Hence, I was not suspicious because I would not expect Duchess Markle to be involved or engage in unsound business practices. Therefore, I thought this was a legitimate offer. Thus far, I have not been able to find evidence of being charged for the cream. However, I am still in the process of checking my credit card. There should be a way to stop this kind of fraudalent business practices.

Desired Outcome

I'd like for this company to cease and desist shipping the cream to me and to be provided assurance that I will not be billed or charged for a products or the ongoing shipment of cream that I never ordered and that no information will be sent to any credit reporting company alleging that I owe and did not pay for a product that I never order. Further, I wish to have no further contact from or with this company. If possible, this company should be forced to discontinue operating using these unsound and improper business practices. It seems to me that the company is preying upon citizens and illegally attempting to entrap them into receiving and paying for a product never ordered. I called from my desk during the course of the work day where the actual number from my office phone does not show up on caller ID. I called during the latter part of January 2020 and waited to see if the shipments would stop and when the shipments continued decided to file this complaints.

Customer Response • Feb 11, 2020

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)

This company indicates that they have reviewed the account of Ms. with great care, and all accounts have been cancelled. I do not accept this because this information is false. I have never placed an order with this company for any product. Because the product was being shipped to me with no return address, I contacted the company by telephone prior to filing a compliant with the Revdex.com. The representative repeatedly indicated that she (it was a female voice) could cancel the order but wanted me to confirm some information such as my email address. I repeatedly stated that I never placed an order and stated there is no order to be cancelled. I asked how can you cancel an order that was never placed? Ultimately, I ended the call by hanging up because the company representative kept pausing or placing the call on hold. I asked why do you keep pausing or placing this call on hold? I was not sure if she was recording the call and perhaps attempting to erase some of the information during the process in an attempt to entrap me or trick me into saying that I had placed an order when, in fact, I never placed an order and as I stated, since I never placed an order, there is no order to be cancelled. This company is engaging in improper and unethical business practices and no company that operates in this manner should be permitted to continue to exist and prey upon innocent victims by advertising a trial cream at no cost in the name of a notable public figure or celebrity, as in this case, they used Meghan Markle's name. I want the company to do what is right and acknowledge that no order was placed by me, and therefore there is no order that exists to be cancelled. Just do the right thing. Also, I'd like to see this company barred from continuing these unethical and improper business practices. No order has been placed by me. So, there is nothing to be cancelled. Further, the company's statement in its response to my complaint filed with the Revdex.com implies that the company may bill me for products prior to 2/10/2020. Since I never placed an order, I do not owe this company anything. My sincere desire is to see this company barred from continuing to engage in these improper and unethical business practices and forced to leave the market place. I want the record to be set straight.

Followup to my initial compliant Case #XXXXXXXX.Now filing to obtain full refund of monies charged to my credit card and report more fraud activities.
I disagreed with the company's response to my initial complaint. So I provided a response to explain why I disagreed. As I recall, the company said something about reviewed with care my "accounts". I do not now and never have established an account with this firm and the use of word in the plural form is troublesome in light of their unethical, criminal, dishonest, and fraudulent behavior. On yesterday, I discovered that the company has charged my credit card a sum of $462.18; two of the charges were for the month of October ($88.46 and $93.43) the remaining charges in the amount of $93.43 monthly thereafter for the months of November 2019 through January 2020). The charges were initially billed for anti aging skin cream. Subsequent to my initial filing, they began billing me for a weight loss supplement. I have not received in any of the shipments any weight loss supplement and was not aware of any weight loss supplement cream until yesterday upon seeing my bill. Therefore, my initial complaints did not address the weight loss supplement cream and until now I have never seen anything about a weight loss supplement. I only saw a free trail offer for an anti aging cream purportedly by Meghan Markle. I contacted the company and disputed the charges and reiterated that I have never placed an order with them and I have not opened an account nor requested an account for any products or services. I further explained that I am 72 years of age, never ordered nor have need of a weight loss supplement. The representative responded "oh, it's all part of the same thing" I have no idea what that means. He offered to refund me 30% of the amount billed, and I refused to accept anything less than the total amount charged to my credit card due to the fraudulent and unsound business practices of this company. It appears that they have discontinued shipping the anti aging. Please note that at no time was a price provided for any products from this firm. Rather, they proceeded to charge my credit card the amount they chose to charge, despite I as a consumer never placed an order of any kind for the firm for any product. I have disputed the charges with my credit card company. As previously stated in my earlier complaint, this company is engaging in fraudulent, criminal, dishonest, unethical and unsound business practices. It is unfortunate that they are permitted to continue to operate as a business and prey upon the public, particularly senior citizens. They should be forbidden from continuing to operate as a business. Further, there should be some vehicles to ensure that they do not simply change the current name of the firm and set up another company with a different name but continuing with these scam practices of preying upon consumers.

I want a total refund in the amount of $462.18 returned to me with no excuses from the company for its inexcusable and unacceptable business practices. Though I doubt that it can be done, I would like to see this company put out of business.
