Review: I ordered a product they told me they would see me a 14 day trial. I was charged and didn't authorize it. The customer service refused to refund my money. I didn't want the product and they are very rude and don't want to handle my return.

On July 13, 2015 I found a pop-up ad on the internet for a skin care product, located the phone number and ordered a "free sample", knowing I had to pay shipping. I did not see the trial offer conditions and did not know I had to call to cancel future expensive deliveries, or there is no way I would have ordered. When I ordered one product with shipment charge of $4.95, another product was added to the order, shipment charge of $2.95. I thought it was a bonus! When the packages arrived, all I received was both packing slips with very little information. When I received my credut card bill, 2 charges ($89.73 and $89.94) were posted on July 27th. I called Lavish Skin Care and was told it was too late to cancel the charges, however I could get half off one charge. The person I spoke to was extremely rude and insulting. I then called [redacted] (different number) and was told they couldn't help me. I hope people will be alert to the unethical and deceptive practices of this company. I am a senior citizen and among many other people, I certainly do not want to pay those ridiculous charges for beauty products!

Review: I ordered two samples of skin care products: "Premiera Matrixyl and Prima Eye Cream" as a "free trial sample" for

$4.95 each, which was charged to my credit card on 7/4/2015. The samples I received were called "Finesse" face serum and "Nova Derm" eye cream. This was the first problem.

There was no indication anywhere that could be seen stating that merchandise received had to be cancelled within 14 days. I was not even able to print out a confirmation of the order as is customary so I had no idea where the merchandise was coming from. I was taking a chance for $4.95 for a sample, which I was willing to do.

When I happened to look at my bank statement on the 7/20/15 I saw two charges of $89.94 and $89.53 respectively. Wondering what these charges were for I called the phone number of the agency on my bank statement that initiated the charge and I was told that I was too late. That 14 days had passed even though I did not receive the merchandise until days later. I was also not aware of any contract and asked for a copy to be sent to me. Nothing happened. I also called my bank to get involved, but they are unable to help.

I believe that this company is using fraudulent advertisement luring people into thinking that they are receiving

a free sample, but the "fine print" which is never disclosed says otherwise.

Presently I have cancelled any further shipments but have been unable to recover the additional charges of $179.47Desired Settlement: I am happy to return the samples for a complete refund.

Review: I placed an order 7/15/15 through an ad by lavish featuring Dr. Oz. to receive a free bottle of Lavish anti aging serum for 3.95 S/H. they also suggest to order the Neudermis eye wrinkle cream for free just pay the S/H of 4.95. My understanding was that they were free except for S/H. which was what I paid for on 7/20/15. also there was no posted price in the ad other than S/H. Today 8/30/15 I noticed four charges to my Debit/Bank acct. for the month of Aug. in 8/03/15 for $89.73 and $88.78 and the most recent one on 8/29/15 for $89.73 and $88.78. These were unauthorized charges to my acct. I called them immediately on 8/30/15 only to find out I would to called two different numbers for the items. [redacted] and [redacted]. I was told I could cancel the account and future orders; however there was a 14 day trial and I they could not issue a refund. I also informed them that I have not received the second bottle so how can I be charged for something I don't have. they said that when I receive it I will have to call back to cancel that order and get a RNA # and then mail it to PO Box 85380 Santa Ana CA, 92799. How can I be charge for an amount that was never posted on the ad., or on the shipping email notice or the packing list. in other words if you had posted the cost of the items on the ad I would have never purchased them for I can not afford them.Desired Settlement: a full refund for $357.02

Review: Upon supplying information for a free sample and paying a $4.95 shipping fee, the business in question without my knowledge nor consent charged my debit card $89. I am in the process of disputing claim with my bank and having to destroy my debit card to prevent future transactions.Desired Settlement: The above transaction is in a pending stage with my bank. If the business seeks to demand payment for the transaction, I wish that the company refund the amount charged to my account and any other charges that may levied to the account as a result of the transaction.

Review: Had been attached to an email for Kohls and it said I could get free skin care lotion for shipping cost of $4.95. I paid the $4.95 and received a small bottle of skin lotion. Recently found they were taking $89.73 out of my bank account. I called and got an automated system and I cancelled the plan I never had and they sent an email that they wouldn't take any money from my account now or in the future. They did take it. I called the company and asked to see what it was that I agreed to and they said they couldn't. I asked what I got for $89.73 and they said that was because I didn't notify them to cancel within 14 days. I never signed up for anything so I didn't know I had to cancel. I was then told to contact my bank and file a claim.Desired Settlement: Stop this company from ripping off people. This makes it more difficult for legitimate business' since I will be very afraid to ever purchase anything online again.

Review: On Feb 9, 2015 I thought I authorized a free sample of Lavish Skin and a free sample of Derma Bright for the cost of shipping. This was one online site. Today Feb 24, 2015 I got a call from [redacted] asking me about charges for 88.42 and 89.00 from two different companies. I did not authorize these charges. [redacted] advised me to call the companies and ask for refunds. I have called each. I received a 50% refund from each and they adamantly refused a full refund even when I said I would return the unused products. Each has closed my account. That means that each company will still have over $40. or over $80. total in profit that I did not authorize. They say that there was a legal binding contract that specified these charge amounts for a "free trial" after 14 days. I explained that there was no clear and vivid notation on the website when I visited that informed me that there would be further charges after "free shipping." If I had known I would not have authorized what I thought was free samples. Furthermore the packing lists stated that the total price was $3.95 for Lavish and $1.95 for Derma Bright so I had no idea that further charges would be made. I would like the the Revdex.com to be aware that thousands of women could very well be taken in by this "legal" maneuver.Desired Settlement: It would be very nice to have a full refund rather than 50%. I assume that I received a 50% refund because that is within the legalities of the law. I also assume that they use 2 companies so that each remaining amount is under $50. and under the wire of fraud. Also 2 companies make it harder to deal with and complain about. However I would like to point out that thousands of women could very well be taken in by this website and the profit could be extremely substantial all just within the legal line of the law. Its dishonest and unethical. If they have a valid product it should be able to stand on its own without resorting to legal fraud.

Review: Facebook said "get a free sample of Lavish Skin and only pay postage". I don't recall any terms or conditions that they say were agreed to, however I will be more aware of the fine print in the future. In two weeks I was charged $89.73 on my credit card; supposedly I had to cancel within two weeks, however, I don't think I even had the product yet as it took quite awhile to receive. When I called the company, quite rudely I was told that I had agreed to this charge. When I told the rep that my face broke out when I used it and thus COULD NOT use it, she did deduct 1/2 or $44.86. Three things are obvious. 1)The company has an "F" rating with the CA B & B which indicates dissatisfaction with this company. 2) The first choice when you call the company is "press 1 to close your account."...this indicates a lot of dissatisfaction with the company. 3) my credit card company is "very aware of this company." I have disputed the charge on my credit card. There is a high level of dissatisfaction with this company and with ample reason.

It is my request to have the remaining $44.87 reimbursed to my credit card.Desired Settlement: Refund of the remaining $44.87 charge on my credit card

Dear [redacted],

Review: I ordered a 'free trial' from Lavish Skin Care/Luxuriousskin located in California for $4.95 on 7/3/15. I received the 0.50 fluid ounce bottle. I was charged $89.73 on 7/17/15. I contacted them at 877-625-2977 requesting a full refund. I was told by them that I had 14 days to cancel and did not do that. I told them I only purchased the 'free trial' and requested a full refund. They said they could not do that but could only give me a 35% refund. I have sent them an email requesting a full refund, and notified them I am in the process of filing a complaint with my bank and consumer affairs. I did not knowingly agree to any subscription of any further products from this company. I expect a full refund, however did say that at minimum I expect the agreed upon 35% refund in the event they refuse to do the right thing and provide me a full refund.Desired Settlement: A full refund of $89.73 to my bank account.

Review: I found an ad for a trial of the product for $4.95.

I subsequently received additional products. When I contacted the service to request reimbursement, the young lady I spoke to said I did not cancel the product in time and as such was sent another supply. I adamantly requested to talk to a supervisor. The young lady offered me a lower price, I rejected it. I simply wanted my account closed and reimbursement issued for the items I did not order. All materials not used would be returned.

Today, I contact Lavish Skin again with much the same results. The young man I was talking to informed me I had since last December to cancel the contract and that Lavish had a strick policy about reimbursements. He said he could reimburse only the most recent delivery. Which was a total of $89.33.

I am requesting reimbursement for all of the materials/goods I did not order. And, I will return all of these items as soon as Lavish agrees to reimburse me.

I also contacted Lavish to get a RMA # which is a requirement to return materials. I currently have items for February, March & April, 2015.

Thank you.

[redacted] R. [redacted]Desired Settlement: Reimbursement for materials I did not order.

Review: I went to a website that advertised FREE trial of skin products. All I had to pay was the shipping and tax. To do that I needed to use a credit card. I received the items in the mail, one of the two did not contain much product. When, a month later, I received my credit card bill, I found 4 charges (twice for each product) on my bill. Evidently, in the small print of the 'accept' regulations, it stated that I would be billed for my "free products and that I would receive one each month thereafter. After many phone calls, canceling my credit card, I got them to credit the last two charges on my bill and I returned unopened product to them at my expense.

My complaint….after talking with the fraud division of my credit card company (Visa) I found that this is a VERY common activity by these companies…..I feel that the FREE offer was not free at all and therefore was fraudulent advertising. I am sure this is somehow considered legal but there should be laws that prohibit such devious advertising and "small print". I do realize I should have read all the policy in the small print but I did not, and that is just what these 'shyster' type companies count on. Well, I learned my lesson, but hope that your organization can do something to put a stop to this type of fraudulent commerce.Desired Settlement: I request that the Revdex.com lobby for protection against the type of duplicitous actions described above.

I called and canceled the lavish skin and was still billed!!! I had a bad reaction to cream the first day I used it. My problem is there is no proof I called them and was charged 88.00. I told them I mailed the cream back and still got nowhere with them. I don't know how these people sleep at night. They count the day you order in those 14 day trial. I have no product and out 88.00. I begged these people to give me my money and they felt 30% was sufficient.. This company is a rip of!

Review: I responded to an online advertisement for a free trial of two skin care products which were to have been used together. In order to receive the products, I need only pay the postage on each: $4.95 for the Lavish Skin Care and $3.95 for the DermaBright, which I did by credit card. That occurred on 4/7/15. I did not read anywhere in the process the full cost of either product if you chose to buy them after the 30-day free trial supply, nor did I read that the products would be charged in full -- plus you would be put on an automatic renewal order if you didn't respond and return them within 14 days of ordering. This information is what I was told when I called the company to protest the $89.73 charge on my credit card on 4/22/15. In everything I read "the small print," and I would never knowingly have agreed to this situation. NEVER. This is a scam. No reputable company would have to trick people into a "14-day approval and automatic reorder". If customers like the product(s), they would order and reorder without coercion. When I called the company after receiving my credit card statement with the unauthorized charges, "Diego" told me that I had agreed to the terms when I ordered, which I told him I had not. He told me that he would absolutely not refund the $89.73, but would cancel the reorder. He said he would offer me half my money back if I didn't dispute the charge with my credit card company, which I refused. I did receive an email while I was on the phone with Diego which stated, "This email is to inform you that your subscription status has been recently updated and any ongoing or all future charges have been cancelled as per your request."Desired Settlement: Refund of the full $89.73 erroneously charged to my credit card, and total cessation of any contact with this business, including no further automatic deductions or products.

Review: I ordered Lavish(paid $4.95 for shipping)and Derma Bright(paid $3.95 for shipping) on 1/1/2015. It was advertised that I could order the sample of their product for free and that I only had to pay shipping. On 1/15/2015 I received a charge for $88.28 fromDerma Bright and another charge of $89.73 from SkinRenewal(Lavis). I called and was hung up on the first time. I called back and got this very RUDE rep. The rep said that if I don’t call within 14 days, they will charge me a full amount. So I asked if I called with in 14 days, then they will not charge? And he said yes, this is a FRAUD they’re charging you only if you don’t call, which was supposed to be FREE sample. I do not recall agreeing to anything like that and to my knowledge I was not given the option of accepting or not accepting. I’ve seen many people with the same complaints about this company. I was skeptical when seeing this offer, but I was very careful trying to see if there were any fine prints, and I don't recall seeing anything like they mentioned. This company is absolutely a FRAUD and needs to be terminated.Desired Settlement: I'd liked the company to refund me the $88.28 & $89.73 that were charged and cancel all future charges on my account.

Review: On December 14, 2014 After completing an online survey, I completed an offer for a "free sample" with "just paying shipping and handling" for two products advertised together -[redacted] and Lavish Face Lotion.

The advertising page and subsequent forms did not indicate there would be any additional charges. After receiving the product several days later, there was nothing accompanying the product to indicate there would be related or reoccurring charges. Incidentally the lotion is subpar and caused irritation around my eyes.

I recently noticed on my banking statement 2 charges for $88.28 and $89.73 for reoccurring shipment of these 2 products, and subsequently found that I had also been charged in December the same prices for those products.

A call to the phone numbers associated with the charges revealed that the initial "free sample" was for a 14-day trial period - which was not sufficiently disclosed in the orders process or during shipment of the product. A representative tried to convince me to stay with the program for a number of discounts, but ultimately told me my account would be canceled.

I feel that the advertising and ordering process were intentionally misleading.Desired Settlement: Full refund of both $89.73 charges ($179.46) Lavish Skin Charges.

Review: I ordered a sample of the lavish skin cream for only paying $4.95 for postage & handling. I received the cream and looked everywhere for a phone number to call and cancel the order, after all, who can tell if a skin cream is working in ten days. I could not find a phone number or any way to get in touch with them. I looked at my credit card bill later and discovered I had been charged $89.53 for the product and also got the phone number off the bill. I called and the recording stated that any future orders would be canceled. I could not get to speak to a live person. I tried to talk to a customer service representative and she hung up on me, not trying to help me at all. Review: I was online and looking at a Kohls ad around November 30th 2014 when a pop up ad that I thought was associated with Kohls offered me a free trial of Lavish Skin Care product. All I had to do was pay for a shipping charge of $4.95. I gave them my credit card number and assumed that's all I would be billed. I would have never ordered this product if I had been made aware I was going to be charged $89.73. If it was in their description, terms of use or disclaimer it was very well hidden and I surely did not see it. The product came in the mail and I tried it. It burned my neck so I quit using it and decided that when they asked me if I wanted more product than this Free Trial Offer I would tell them no or not reorder. I was checking my bank account today and came across a charge from Lavish Skin Care for $89.73. I called the phone number on my bank statement and spoke with someone there at Lavish Skin Care, She cancelled any future payments of $89.73 but said they would not refund the original $89.73 which I did not authorize them to charge to my account.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the $89.73 and to verify they have cancelled all future charges to my account,

Regards,

I too have been shamed with 3 boxes of a product I never ordered and have sent back via the post office. My conversation today with their costumer service rep was identical to others, stating it was too late more than 60 days, which it wasn't yet. Other boxes returned right away not opened may be credited in the future! They claim it was visible when ordering that more products would be sent after two weeks unless cancelled? I also received two boxes one at the first of July and another the end of July? Someone must do something about this company!

The same thing happened to me but now they have their phone number on the Visa charges. I called them back one day after my "trial" period ended cause it just showed up on my account today. They will not take it back or refund my money. I told them they were a scam and the lady said they never get complaints about this! Ha that is laughable. One of the numbers is no longer in service for the third sample I got. Oh they say they are not samples but "trials" and that once you have tried for 2 weeks you are billed for the trial you have just used? Its a scam and they need to be closed down and Dr. Oz has lost his reputation in my mind!

Review: I am writing to report the unethical business practice from Lavish-Skin.com using Dr. Oz as their advertising tool to lure victims into purchases. There were several products that Lavish-Skin.com advertises for wonderful and impressive skin treatment; the ones that I selected for trials for free (I only paid for the shipping for the first trial) were Lavish Skin and Neudermis Cream. After trying the product (Lavish Skin) once and then twice, my face immediately reddened overnight with rashes and skin lesions appearing on three different locations on my face. Since the products were free (or so I thought), I did not pursue further or asked for reimbursement. After returning home from work today, I discovered two additional packages coming from P O Box 25380, Santa Ana CA 92799 - two additional boxes that I did not order. Upon further investigation, I was disclosed by my credit card company that the company has been charging my account for two months in the row in sum of a total of $179.46. I was initially provided with the 877 phone number - Incredible Skin and the 877 number - Beauty Face by the credit card company. After attempting to call them this evening, I come to find out that the phone is a continuous recording asking customers to patiently hold for a customer representative, but there is never anyone on the other line to pick up the calls. Worst, during web investigation, there is a history of Ripoff Report (complaint) filed for Lavish Skin. The practice is to lure victims into taking the first sample order, and without authorization, the company will continuously replace order by charging their victims continuously. The customer 877 number on file provided by my credit card company is unmanned. I urge you to investigation the unethical operation of this company on behalf of many others out there when purchases are made mostly out of state where retrieval and return process is extremely challenging and almost impossible.Desired Settlement: Lavish-Skin.com should stop these ethical practices and charging without proper authorization. Their product is unsafe creating skin lesions and rashes upon application. There isn't any warning label for this type of reaction that exists in the package label. Please note that Lavish-Skin.com use a fake address postage code of ending 5380 so it is not traceable back to the vendor. The phone number it uses [redacted] or [redacted] that are unmanned to process any complaints or refunds.
