Len the Plumber cleared my main drain weeks ago The drain appeared to be clogged again so I called They came out again, however, they charged me another $to do the same thing and found nothing wrong with the main drain I called times to talk to someone about this and they never returned my call Also, I had asked them to fix a leaky faucet while they were there and was told they did not have the time They are unprofessional, and provide horrible customer service I will never use them again *** has a day warranty on all their work Len the Plumber should too

Am pleased to say our experiences with Len the Plumber have been great We have had two plumbing problems recently and on both occasions the repairmen were prompt, efficient and helpful The quality of their work is outstanding
After noticing a hiddin leak I called Len the Plumber and was surprised they offered to come the same day within a fe hours of my callThe plumber they sent was very professional and knowledgeableUnfortunately I am a renter and my landord did not have them complete the job but I will definately use them again when I purchase in a few months!

The plumber messed up our dish washer when he was inspecting the leaking problem close to it(Our dish washer suddenly stopped working after he left, and he asked me a coupe questions about the dish washer when he was at our homeI did not see he did it, but who else?)
He did not admit it was his fault, and his manager tried the best to cover him (no apology, blame everything to me)We called another contractor and it turned out not very expensive to fix everythingHowever, this experience is super bad
After my service call they were at my house within minutes
The service was excellent and the plumber was very knowledgeable
It was cold and raining and he never complained one time about doing his job
I would recommend them to anyone and a job well done
With regards to Len the Plumber:
Pros: They do good work and their "same day service" can be a blessing in emergency situations
Cons: Their labor pricing is not based on an hourly rate, but rather on "labor guidelines" provided to their techsThese labor guidelines are established using the average of a "low and high" cost for each project, but this "average" appears to be slanted more to the "high" endThe result is that, in most cases, you end up paying inflated labor rates for the projectUsing an hourly rate would make it much more equitable and more transparent, not to mention less expensive, for the customer
Tony *** came by just to help us with a leaky faucet, we weren't quite comfortable doing ourselves being new homeownersHe ended up catching an issue with a pressure valve we would never have seen that was the cause of a number of different problems in our houseHe was very kind and polite, and took the time to educate us on what was wrong, what needed to be replaced/fixed, and what to look out for in the futureHe provided the best customer service I've ever had the pleasure of being on the receiving end of, and I will not hesitate to recommend him to all friends, family, and neighbors in the area!
On July 1st, 2016, I Kathryn Ncalled Len the Plumber, Incnot being able to run my dishwasher/garbage disposer/washer at the same time/leaky pipes in one part of my basement ceiling/and water near my sump pumpI was informed that a technician would be there the same day, however, I could not, so, it was scheduled for the next day, Saturday, July 2nd, from 9:00am-1:00pm; without any overtime costs! I received a courteous phone call and email detailing concerning the arrival time and sure enough the technician arrived promptly at 9:30am, introduced himself as Will *** and asked me to explain the problem (s) in detail, which I didHe listened to my concerns and answered my questions in detail, tested matters, and cleared my kitchen line clog/changed the PVC pipe that was cracked/and informed/showed me how I needed a new/replace sump pumpSince he was in the process of working on plumbing matters, I not only saved the initial $by mentioning the coupon at the beginning of my second phone call when I gave more of our house description, he informed me I was able to save an additional $I found him to be courteous, fast, and efficientHe never stopped for any drink or lunch that I offered him! On Friday, November 13, 2015, your technician David Sarrived at my home in Hyattsville MD to clear a drain in my basementThe original estimate to perform the work was $After the technician did his initial inspection he told me that snaking the drain would not fix the problem, that I would need to replace the laundry drain up to feet and that this would require the floor in the laundry room and the bathroom to be jack-hammeredHe also said that your company would not repair the tile floor in the bathroomHis estimate to perform this work was $4,870.00, to be decreased by $for Friday's chargeEven though I was required to pay your technician $(see invoice number ***), no actual work was performedYour invoice states that the trip charge is $49.00, so having to pay an additional $simply to be told by your technician that he could not fix the problem is outrageous and unjustifiedI therefore request a refund of the $overcharge, as the charge should never have been made since no work was performedI am highly disappointed in your company's quality of work and customer service and will not recommend you or use you again
