When I realized our kitchen sink was clogged and the garbage disposal leaking, I pondered calling the plumbers I'd used in the past but realized I'd not been very satisfied with either so I decided to contact Len the Plumber. We were just hoping maybe the good reviews we'd read about them were true. Mike showed up within a couple hours of my call, diagnosed the problems, presented a couple options and cost to us...we gave the OK and he had us up and running in about an hour. The work came with a couple years warranty and left us feeling very satisfied about the courtesy, promptness and professionalism of the work. Next plumbing challenge will be a no-brainer. Thanks again to Mike for getting to us quickly and doing it right.

We were charged $350 for the plumber to tell us to call another plumber for one issue and to buy a new faucet for another. Neither were repaired and I am out $350.
In less than one year we had the following services performed by Len The Plumber:
January '15 - Hot water heater
July '15 - Main water shut offs, rear outside shut off, front faucet bib
January '16 - front outside shut off (just before blizzard)
We were very fortunate with the hot water heater failure. Outer liner burst at seam but leakage was minor. Plumber Edgar was able to drain it after considerable effort on his part considering the condition of the tank and the amount of sediment. Then new heater was installed very quickly with a nice ball lever shut off.
The work in July was done by another plumber named Tom. Again. the work was quick and professional and parts installed were excellent quality sharkbite type with ball levers.
The last shut off was replaced by Edgar just before the blizzard. It was in a tricky location but Edgar was able to give the same type of sharkbite with the new pipe connections. He is one of the few plumbers I have come across (Tom being the other) who had the very expensive installation tool required. Hard to believe how fast the work can be done nowadays with the right tools and latest parts.
I believe plumber Tom is no longer with the company but plumber Edgar is located in [redacted]. Highly recommended.

Tony and the folks at Lent The Plumber were very responsive to an emergency water faucet issue early on a Saturday morning. Service was scheduled right away and received status reports on their progress throughout the repair process.
On Friday, November 13, 2015, your technician David S. arrived at my home in Hyattsville MD to clear a drain in my basement. The original estimate to perform the work was $285.00. After the technician did his initial inspection he told me that snaking the drain would not fix the problem, that I would need to replace the laundry drain up to 30 feet and that this would require the floor in the laundry room and the bathroom to be jack-hammered. He also said that your company would not repair the tile floor in the bathroom. His estimate to perform this work was $4,870.00, to be decreased by $260.00 for Friday's charge. Even though I was required to pay your technician $260.00 (see invoice number [redacted]), no actual work was performed. Your invoice states that the trip charge is $49.00, so having to pay an additional $211.00 simply to be told by your technician that he could not fix the problem is outrageous and unjustified. I therefore request a refund of the $211.00 overcharge, as the charge should never have been made since no work was performed. I am highly disappointed in your company's quality of work and customer service and will not recommend you or use you again.

I called Len the Plumber to give me a quote to replace a 2 bowl stainless steel kitchen sink with a one bowl stainless steel kitchen sink and Justin was extremely helpful. He quickly examined conditions and evaluated job conditions. He answered all my questions and provided plumbing options.

I rarely write reviews but given the poor quality of service and terrible customer service including complete lack of follow up from even the supervisor AND his manager, I felt others should be warned regarding Len The Plumber services. First, the technician convinced me to replace a high end Toto toilet (which was only 5 yrs old) with a toilet stocked on the truck which he convinced me would be equal performance and I would be very satisfied with - not the case at all. The Gerber brand toilet he installed is worse than other 30 year old builder grade American Standard toilets in my home. To make matters worse, he failed to tell me the installation would be different, leaving holes/washers in my recently renovated master bath floor - until everything was complete. Upon calling Len The Plumber to discuss my disatisfaction and possible resolution I was promised a call back from a supervisor - no return call after a whole week. I called back and spoke with a manager who I sent photos to. He promised a call back - another week went by - after my calling several times he never returned my calls. I was then passed along to his manager was promised for 3 days he would return my call which I've yet to receive. Len The Plumber's utter lack of responsiveness is beyond disappointing and I would recommend others do NOT use them for plumbing services.
