Len the Plumber has been our go to company for plumbing repairs for more than several years. In each previous incidence we found the plumbers to be knowledgeable craftsmen who solved the problem and performed repairs in a very timely manner. This time we had good service by the plumber but a disappointing and surprising billing issue. The cause of the initial problem was diagnosed and we called an electrician who fixed the problem. No other repairs to equipment were made and the subsequent issues apparently resolved themselves. The plumber did spend time here but the bill was exorbitant for the time spent on this job. We were charged $671.00 The supervisor we talked to was adamant that the price was fair irregardless of the outcome. The electrician from [redacted] & [redacted] actually solved the problem. Other potential causes were not adequately identified.
A plumber arrived in less than an hour after my call.
The badly clogged drain was cleared quickly and now drains
better than it has in years. I've used Len the Plumber for years
as they always arrive quickly and get the job done right the first time.
All the plumbers have been polite, efficient, and genuinely seem to want
leave the customer completely satisfied.

I call Len The Plumber to fix a drain problem in my basement. When I was calling make for appointment they never mention what going to be the cost. I have the same problem with this drain in my basement back in July 2015. It costed me $75 for plumber from another company to snake and unblock the water.
However, the guy from Len The plumber first suggests opening the wall and snake. I told him to do it without opening the wall, just like other plumbers did. He snaked the drain, unblock the water within 15 minutes and asked me to pay him $385. He get very upset when I asked him why the price is high.
When I start calling to Len The Plumber office to discuss about the price, he got more upset and start kicking my kitchen table and hitting the wall. He even curses me loudly when I was on the phone with Len The Plumber customer service guy.
Then he pulls out a small sharp object, step too close to me, corner me against my kitchen, point the small sharp object on my face and demand the money.
I asked the customer service person if he can hear the plumber's voice through the phone, and he reply "loud and clear". Then, I asked him for the plumber person to leave my house and to process the payment over the phone, the customer service person however, told me to pay to the plumber. I gave my credit card to the person who was threatening me with small sharp object; he charged my card and calling me liar and different names.
This is not just a ripe off. This is crime. I suggest anyone who needs a plumber or other service to avoid a company like this-one. I also suggest that to not be alone when a service person comes to your house. Len The Plumber also should know who they are making a contract to do the job behalf of their company.
We discovered we had a backed up sewer line on a Friday evening. We knew we had a break from a previous service provider who scoped out the pipe. They said it would be $9,000 to repair. On Saturday morning around 8am I began calling plumbers. No one was open and I left numerous messages of which only about 3 called me back on MONDAY! I did leave a message at Len the Plumber. Todd called me back a couple hours later. He said he wasn't working that day, but since he was out running errands, he would stop by and check out the problem. True to his word, he did show up Saturday afternoon. He quoted me a price $2,200 less than the previous estimate and said they could do the job the next day. I agreed to use them and I am so glad I did. Not being able to use any water (showers, toilets, sinks) in the home without the fear of it backing up onto the basement floor is a major inconvenience. The crew showed up at 8:30 am and began as soon as Miss Utility marked the lines. The pipe run was 100 feet and was quite deep. At one point in the trench, it was approximately 12 feet deep. The replaced the line and we were able to use the water again by around 3 pm. They finally finished filling in the trench by 6pm. It was truly appreciated by our entire family that these gentlemen gave up their Sunday to take care of our problem I will definitely call Len the Plumber any time we need service at our house.
Len the Plumber's representative was very knowledgeable of work to be done. He came when he said he would, looked over the situation and described everything he would to do to fix the problem. He honored the quote we were given for the repair and completed the work in a reasonable amount of time. Did I mention he was very courteous?
Len the plummer technician Rema provided professional service in the repair of noisy water pipe in my home. Rema secured the pipe and replaced the pressure valve.
This is the second time I've had this particular problem but Mr. [redacted] seems to be a much better plumber than the one I hired previously. He made a better repair and later took the time to give a through explanation of what was required and exactly what was done. I would be highly inclined to hire your company (Len the plumber), in general, and Mr. [redacted], in particular, for any of my future plumbing needs.
Had a jammed garbage disposal. The plumber comes out, looks at it says "it's jammed, and once they get jammed there is no way to fix it. You'll have to replace it, which will be $500 and it will take about an hour." I tell him that price is WAY too high, since the disposal only costs $80 at Lowe's....and he says thats what his 31 years of experience costs. I guess plumbers make $400 an hour these days. So we tell him no thanks. He leaves after we pay him $50 for a visit. We youtube it, and come to find out....there is a freaking "jam key" built into the disposal! Jiggle it with an alan wrench and 45 seconds later.....voila! it works! Imagine that. Len's the Plumber either lied, tried to rip me off, or didn't know the first thing about plumbing....or probably some combination of those.I wouldn't trust this company as far as I can throw them.
I would like to say Len t h e plumber was very very good . They called and was here on time in tge c same day. The gentleman, Jason was respectful and knowledgeable. .very neat as well.
Jason got the job done and I was happy with his professionalism

I was satisfied with the work.
However, in retrospect and when talking to others (one, a plumber), I realized the cost was exorbitant. The plumber worked for about three and a half hours, and the cost of the pop-up assemblies was minimal [redacted] from [redacted] and [redacted] but $15.64 each on-line). I complained about this to the service manager, who gave me a credit for $200 for reattachment of the overflow tube (peeled off the old silicone and applied new). The manager threw in an additional $100 credit. This brought the total to $1032.
I expected to pay about $500. The way this company works, insisting on written estimates for work I had no intention of doing and did not do (hot water heater, water pressure regulating value (already recently replaced)), required committing to the price options up front or else forfeiting the cost of the visit if I decided not to have this company do the work. I want it known that this company charges unreasonable rates, so know this going in if you are intent on using Len.
I am very pleased with the work that the technician Rick M. did in installing a new water heater. He was knowledgeable and took the time to explain things to watch for and to answer our questions. He also helped look for water leaks in the house. I will definitely be calling again for future plumbing needs.
I had another pleasant experience with Len the Plumber! The staff is always curteous on the phone. When I called I was told someone would be there within 2.5 hours and ~10 minutes later another call...someone is on the way (he arrived 5 minutes after I hung up). I also received an email with the technician's face, experience and hobbies!!!! Ricky was professional, quickly solved the problem and told a funny story or two.
Very speedy, professional, superb experience with Len the Plumber. Super nice plumber arrived very promptly which I appreciate they value my time. Kept the area clean and neat. Explained what he did before and after the work was completed. Would use again.
