He installed a tailpiece on our drain so that our dishwasher could work properly. We really appreciated the work done.
Joe was excellent. He explained what had to be done and clearly described the available options for the problem with the shower. The work was done very quickly and turned out great.
We had a leak in in a pipe that fed our water holding tank and we called another plumbing company. After he analyzed our holding tank, the electronics associated with the well, the leaking pipe and our well, we were given a quote of over $5,200 for a new well pump, an electronics module, a small pressure tank, and all the pipe repairs. I thought this was very high and I called Len The Plumber for a comparison quote. I have used Len The Plumber in the past, and always had good results. Corey showed up within an hour of our call, and he began an extensive review of the issues. I cannot say enough about how impressed I was with his slow, focused, analysis of the situation that he did. Corey discovered that their was NO NEED TO REPLACE THE WELL PUMP, OR THE ELECTRONICS, OR THE PRESSURE PUMP, OR DO ANYTHING MORE THAN REPAIR THE LEAKING PIPES (there were actually two small leaks). We called Len the Plumber mid-morning. They arrived at our home WELL within the time frame they gave us - "Joe" was polite, explained the estimate costs, worked quickly and cleaned up after himself (it was all on the tarp that he brought with him), charged appropriately and asked several times if we had any questions about the work that needed to be done, the work that was done, and the recommendations that were made - impressive!
Past service has been excellent to solve and repair the problem. Service was that day and hour or the very next morning. Reliable to trust in that manner.

This latest was the dreaded sewer line inspection (as the result of a powder room toilet that almost overflowed); and, as a result of that inspection, I had to replace the original sewer pipe connection of my 60-year-old home. I was so pleased with the work of all four of your representatives involved. The technicians who performed the pipe replacement work were polite and efficient, answering many of my questions. I was especially grateful that they took great care to minimize the disruption to my lawn, which (thanks to many years of investment in professional lawn care) is now beautiful. After finishing the pipe replacement, they carefully replaced the top layer of my lawn, avoiding any type of severe ugly/muddy trench scar after the job was completed. My husband and I contracted Len the Plumber through the technician Tim P. to replace a broken sewer line on Monday, January 25, 2016. We decided to hire his company's service against another company because he promised to do the job the NEXT DAY. By Tuesday, Tim called to reschedule the job to Wednesday because he claimed they needed more time to get together manpower and logistics. By Wednesday, Tim called again to reschedule the job for the second time to Thursday, claiming he needed a "sign off from the neighbors", and that "we cannot come out there unless there's a signature on the sign off". I asked Tim when I talked to him why he could not secure that signature himself when he and his team, including his supervisor Kara, came to survey the area. His response was, "Well they're your neighbors". I couldn't understand why he did not ask for their signature when he talked to three of my neighbors the day we signed the contract and we paid him upfront 1/3 of the total cost of $5839 on January 25, 2016 upon his insistence. Tim even told us that day, January 25, that he asked our neighbor's permission for him to park Len the Plumber vehicles and equipment on their parking space. I personally find it very unprofessional of Tim to talk to our neighbors about our problem and put our private business out to the community. We talked to his supervisor Kara, who admitted she was in our neighborhood on Tuesday to survey the place, and we asked her why is it that she didn't ask our neighbors' signature when she was in the area. She brusquely replied that it was our job and that "we don't have any contact information". Both our neighbors were at home the entire day on Tuesday when Kara surveyed the area, which means she could have easily knocked on their doors to secure their signature. It stated on the contract we signed that Len the Plumber will obtain the required permits and contracts. Both Tim and Kara stated that they will not come to do the job unless we have the waiver signed. I told her that she herself could ask for my neighbors' signature on Thursday before they start the work. She was adamant that we do it and NOT her or Tim. I could feel her outright refusal - the message being they will not repair our sewer pipe unless WE have our neighbors sign off. When I asked her why a signature is needed, she initially replied that Len the Plumber will need to use our neighbors' lawn to place the dirt that they will dig from our yard. Tim said on Monday, January 25, that the only place they will dig is on OUR lawn and that no pavement will be dug up and that whatever dirt they dig will be placed on a truck. Now here is Kara telling us, on the second day that the work has been rescheduled, that Len the Plumber will dig on our neighbors' lawn and even dig through their pavement because "It's 12 feet deep; that's a huge space!". This was not what Tim told us when we signed the contract. I feel that we have been misled, and that there was a misrepresentation of the actual problem and the job that Tim proposed to do, and that both Kara and Tim's insistence on us getting out neighbor's signature, NOT THEM, is their way of washing their hands from the responsibility of Len the Plumber destroying our neighbor's property.
I have been using Len The Plumber for various in home water repairs for 25 years and have never had any thing but great praise for every technician who made the repairs. This is the best plumbing out fit around!

After giving the original contractor a chance to repair the damaged plumbing on my outdoor sump-pump, I called in the experts from Len the Plumber. The Bethesda, Maryland area Service Technician, Mr. Thomas [redacted], responded to my call for help. To say it was a pleasure watching him work would be an understatement. The total professionalism and competence he exhibited upon tackling the job was evident from the start of the job through its successful completion. In about an hour he had completely fixed the plumbing issues with the sump-pump and had things back to normal in practically no time. I heartily commend Mr. [redacted] on his knowledge, competency, and the highly proficient manner in which he resolved the problem. A very personable young man, Mr. [redacted] related how his grandfather had also been a plumber. I know his grandfather would be proud to know the family tradition is very much in good hands! The price was a bit steep but the good results eased the pain, and I at least knew before he began what the bottom line would be.
Yesterday, we discovered our drain in the basement was backing up sludge. Called Len the Plumber. Rama was sent to us. He exhibited the utmost professionalism. He took care of all of the problems Ina timely fashion. I would recommend Len the Plumber and even more. I would recommend Rama to take care of your plumbing needs. [redacted]
I called Len the Plumber to replace a sump pump that burned out during a storm; hence, this was an emergency job. The technician, Van, came out the same evening that I called. He was very customer friendly, efficient, and informative. I would not hesitate to call Len the Plumber again.
On a scal of 1 to 10 I give them a 20! Best service I've received of any plumbing or other repairs to my 24 year old home.
We called with a broken hot water heater and got service the same day. Two other companies well known in the area did not call back that day at all.

Friday after close of business, I discovered a water leak from the water pipes in the ceiling of my basement. Having used Len the Plumber in the past during hurricane weather and with sump pump issues with the best of experience, they are my first call. I was able to schedule a Sunday morning call - Ricky R. was the assigned technician. Excellent diagnosis, copper pipe pinhole leaks, estimate for the job given. All equipment was on the truck so the job was completed in a timely manner, very neat work and clean up. Pipes inspected for no further leakage and I was good to go. This company has never failed me - always quality work, courteous experienced tradesmen and great phone service department. Thank YOU!
I had an immediate need of a plumber. Len the Plumber had someone to my house within 2 hours. Rema (the plumber) quickly saw what the problem was and fixed it. I had a repair person in earlier in the day who couldn't figure out what was wrong.
They do a fine job but are not worth more than $300 per hour which is what my bill was during normal business hours. I feel like the worlds biggest it for hiring Len the Plumber. My husband almost had a heart attack when I showed him the bill.
