The check was put in the mail by my office this past Monday on March 19th Sorry for the delay

Dear ***, I am in total awe of the above “fiction” written by Mr [redacted] I can understand why it took him six weeks to reply, he put a lot of thought into his story At this point I am requesting the following information; The “original’ copy of the claimed signed document that was signed only by me, not my husband that states Lia was only paying for the remaining lease payments to Chrysler, not the overage I was not given a copy of this one particular document until it was requestedI would like to see the original with my signature, I believe that is a fair request and would be more than happy to stop in the dealership to view it All other paperwork requiring signatures were provided on the day of purchase Mr [redacted] makes a statement that I was using a $rebate to pay off mileage This is another fabrication However, I would like Mr [redacted] to also provide me with a copy of the cancelled check from Nissan in the amount of $made out to my husband and I As we were being congratulated by Brendan in Finance after completing the deal Brendan stated we would be receiving the rebate check in the mail We did not receive this rebate and this was the current promotion running at the time I am so utterly disgusted by the treatment we have received and by the outright lies that have been put in writing by Mr [redacted] It seems this dealership is missing a letter in the title of their name, it should be “LIAR” Nissan I will continue with the other avenues available in the pursuit of the truth of this matter As I mentioned before, there are other complaints on your website where the same thing has happened to other customers yet they continue to resort to their unethical practices Regardless if this matter is considered “closed” by the Revdex.com or not, it is in no way closed with my husband and I.Respectfully, [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Everything that is written in response to my initial complaint is a bold faced lie from Lia Hyundai I refuse to accept that response - and in fact the person writing the response was not even there during my conversation with Bill and the supposed manager of the facility I was not loud I was crying and admitted to being emotional I was upset that they told me a specific car was there and I drove an hour and a half (one way) on my only day off in over a month just to have not even a sympathetic ear or an apology I literally had to call the police to get the name of the manager If I was acting in such a disrespectful manner I am pretty sure I would not have called to police, and once the police were there they would have at the very least scolded me Instead, the police apologized that I had to even go through this experience to begin with and went inside the establishment to retrieve the name of the person who refused to give me his name as I was leavingRegardless, the needs encounter needs to be addressed because I feel violated The actions of the entire facility on that day was reprehensible and I will not back down from something when I am in the right I have absolutely NOTHING to gain from taking time out of my life to ask for an apology I already purchased and am driving my new Hyundai from a different dealer and am more than ecstatic about my purchase Looks like people at Lia Hyundai need to take a little bit of time out for self-reflectionBelow is our e-mail correspondence The first message is on the bottom

Jim [redacted] Lia Nissan of Enfield [redacted] Enfield, CT Revdex.com [redacted] Ref # [redacted] , [redacted] To whom it may concern: I’m responding to a complaint that was written by [redacted] on the purchase of her off lease vehicle To purchase your off lease vehicle through NMAC, the dealer has to ground the current lease vehicle to terminate the account It allows the purchasing dealer to facilitate an off lease purchase on behalf of the lessee When Lia Nissan grounded Mrs [redacted] vehicle, the website somehow triggered that her vehicle was to be returned to Nissan and was identified as a terminated lease vehicle Later that week a truck came by the dealership, (on the sales managers day off), and facilited an off lease pick up The truck, that Nissan sent, was instructed to pick up that specific off lease vehicle, and to bring it to the vehicle auto auction that re-sells the Nissan off lease vehicles Mrs [redacted] phoned Lia Nissan to follow up to see if NMAC had released the title to her leased vehicle so that she would be able to pick up her vehicle and be able to properly register it The current management at that time had then realized that the vehicle was picked up and brought to the auction for resale Numerous phone calls back and forth with Nissan rectified and halted the resale of vehicle, and began the process to bring the vehicle back to the dealer When the vehicle arrived back to the dealer, Lia Nissan phoned Mrs [redacted] that her vehicle was now back and we could then register her vehicle and complete the final sale of her off lease vehicle Upon her arrival she noticed that a few things were missing inside her vehicle Mrs [redacted] s acceptable settlement was an SD card, so that she can access a navigation system, her remotes to properly be functionalUpon review, Lia Nissan apologizes for on behalf of Nissan for the accidental pick up of her lease vehicle The dealership had no idea that the NMAC would send a truck to pick up her vehicle and send it to an auction for resale Lia Nissan issued the a brand new SD card, value of almost $and replaced the batteries along with reprograming of her two vehicle remotes I notified Nissan to see what channels I needed to go through to refund the disposion fee that was charged to Mrs [redacted] As far as the missing items that was mentioned from Mrs [redacted] , we phoned the auction, and they explained there was nothing in the vehicle and that the vehicle wasn’t put through the auction process Therefore no one had access to the content of the vehicleMrs [redacted] came to the dealership and picked up her vehicle and agreed to the terms offered within reason If there are any further questions, I would be happy to answer them You may contact me at the dealershipThank you, Jim [redacted] General Manager Lia Nissan of Enfield

[redacted] Re [redacted] To whom it may concern: This letter is sent in response to a customer complaint sent in by Ms [redacted] First off, we would like to say that we are sorry that Ms [redacted] was not totally satisfied with her recent lease transaction here at Lia Honda We strive to offer every customer a smooth and easy purchase experience, and it appears that she was not totally happy with how the lease transaction wentLia Honda had a website lease special offer listed for a Civic LX for $99/mo (plus state sales tax i.e$+ $tax= $105.29) with a listed down payment requirement to get to that paymentHer lease transaction was negotiated with the salesperson and the sales manager on Saturday 9/13/ The customer asked to take delivery of her new vehicle that same day and we were able to do so for her.On Monday, 9/15/14, Ms [redacted] came back to the dealership to drop off the title to her trade vehicle, which she did not have at the time of delivery While at the dealership she asked for a further explanation and a breakdown of her total down payment and how it had applied to her Civic leaseThe salesperson tried to offer his assistance, but he really wasn’t the best person to explain as he did not have full knowledge of the financial working of a lease contract At Lia Honda the lease contracts for the the bank are always drawn up by a financial manager, not by a salesperson So after the salesperson had spoken with her, I brought Ms [redacted] into my office and reviewed the entire lease transaction with her She again asked for a breakdown of the required down payment for our specific Civic LX website ad I gave her the total breakdown shown in the adShe asked why she had put down a little more down payment than what was shown in the ad She stated that she did not want to put any additional money down I reviewed her lease agreement and explained that while the paperwork shows that Ms [redacted] did put a little more down (specifically $ additional) then what is stated in the website ad, that additional money down contributed to a lower monthly payment of $ +$tax= $99/mo ($ less/mo) That payment reduction totals a savings of $over the month lease period Her lease agreement also included an Anti-theft security vehicle VIN etching agreement (at a cost of $+ tax) which offers a $payout benefit if her leased vehicle was stolen and not recovered Ms [redacted] signed for this protection policy on two separate forms (the lease agreement and Anti- theft product agreement) She stated that she was not happy about putting down any additional down payment and was not happy about purchasing the Anti-theft VIN etching, which she said she did not want Ms [redacted] also asked to have the lease acquisition fee of $“waived” I explained that this fee is charged by the bank, and is clearly listed on both the lease contract and in the website ad and cannot be “refunded” or “waived” as it is paid to the bank as a requirement of the lease company.She then stated that she probably should have read over the lease agreement more thoroughly before signing contracts and taking same day deliveryHowever, in the interest of customer satisfaction, I immediately processed a refund check to her for the cost of both the Anti-theft vin etch guarantee plus the additional down payment monies she had put down, ($+ $154.56= $total ), at the same time still keeping her reduced lease payment at $99/mo including CT sales tax ( not $105.29)I handed the check to Ms [redacted] , we shook hands and she said she was happier nowWe spoke about her coming back in a couple of years for another Honda leaseShe stated she would like to work with me I said “of course” and I thanked her for her businessWe value Ms [redacted] ’s business and look forward to a good working relationship moving forwardTo go one step further in our effort to satisfy Ms [redacted] , I am extending an additional offer of one full year of factory scheduled maintenance for her new Civic at no chargeThis offer has been entered into her service file in our computer system for her to utilize as neededSincerely, [redacted] General Manager Lia Honda of Enfield

We apologize for any miscommunicationWe have no control over the length of time that Toyota Financial Services takes to approve a dealWe would have been willing to help out with the rental, however the customer never asked prior, and just assumed it was complimentaryIf, in fact customer was charged, we are willing to reimburse customer for rentalThank you

I spoke with [redacted] and he stated we did everything with customer service in mindUnfortunately, there is no way to swap the vehicle she bought to a vehicle with more equipment, at no cost to the customer

Mr [redacted] called and gave verbal and state he was rejecting the response because: They know that the bumper was cracked, they are lying about itWhen I went in there at the end of April, I said to them, that the bumper was cracked and that they never told meThey said they don't know if I broke it or if it was that way before I purchased itThey gave me mile warranty and made me drive back and forth to Bristol to Hartford for only a tire that was making too much noise which used up my warranty miles I went to Firestone and told me the tire needed to be replacedI took the receipt to Lia Hartford and they said I had to pay for the tireI contacted Hyandai Corporate and they made them replace the tire and to give me some floor matsThey give me too much problemI want the bumper replaced
