Review: I received a letter in the mail from LightSpeed Reserach saying that I will be given a $10 [redacted] Gift card for participating in an online survey. I completed the survey and I got a message that said they wouldn't provide the gift card because they received too many recipients. No where in there letter does it state that I might receive a gift card based on the timeliness of my entry. I performed a service and provided them research data in return for a gift card which they are now refusing to provide.Desired Settlement: I would like my $10 [redacted] gift card as they promised in the letter for the research data I provided.

Business

Response:

Please provide the survey number the panelist is referring to, without it we are unable to assist.

I have run a search on the email address: [redacted] however, have not found that they have contacted us.

We do not reward survey participation with giftcards/ecertificates, but rather points.

If he can provide the survey number, I'm happy to research further, however, without it we are unable to research and help.

Review: I have an account with MySurvey.ca, which is part of Lightspeed GMI. When I reached the minimum cash out amount my account became inactive with no reason. I sent about 10 requests to Canadian MySurvey team and never got back from them. I tried to contact them through [redacted] and there was no luck. I contacted US customer service and got my account reactivated in several days without any explanation. It happened about 1 month ago. Yesterday I found my account is not active again! I sent the messages to US and Canadian customer services, but never get back from them.Desired Settlement: First, I would like to get my account reactivated.

Second, I would like to know what is going on. Why do they block my account and keep ignoring my emails?

Review: [redacted] webcam survey 250 points (Webcam Portion) [redacted]_7 Hand and Body Lotion Survey 150 points

Once again I am now noticing that the representatives from Lightspeed LLC (mysurvey.com) are ignoring my last emails like before or have failed to do what is right and credit me for the work I have put into these surveys. Again I have worked hard for these points, 400 points ($4) especially since I normally don't allow for [redacted] and [redacted] to record me on webcam on one of the surveys mentioned above. I have gone back and forth on this with them before and they have had their good moments, but after a while they resort back to their old ways and not paying their panelists including myself on the webcam surveys. They come up with excuses that it may take weeks for it to credit because they are hoping that we would forget about the points but I do not go for these practices. I am once again submitting a complaint to have them do what is right and credit the 400 points ($4) to my account with username [redacted]Desired Settlement: I am kindly asking you to have them do the right thing to reward the 400 points ($4) to my account. My username with mysurvey.com is [redacted]. The lack of customer service and depriving their panelists of points/cash and keeping the incentives to themselves is not acceptable.

Response:

Dear [redacted]Thank you for your message. We have investigated the survey [redacted] which you have participated in on February 26th. For this survey, you actually have not qualified. You unfortunately could not receive the 150 points which were allocated only to participants who had completed this survey. For the other survey, reference [redacted] the 250 points have been credited to your account on March 13th. You should see it on your account. We thank you very much for your participation in our panel.Kind regards,[redacted]Lightspeed LLC

Review: Received a letter in the mail to be a mystery shopper the representative told me to cash the check and take $100.00 for payment for the assignment and to call him back .Iwent to my bank and deposit the check took the cash for the assignment called him back he asked me did I cash the the check I said no my bank would only let me deposit the check. He told me to go to my bank the next day which on 10/23/15 .I was told to take out $865.00 and wire it by Western Union for the amount of $800.00 to Allen B[redacted] at [redacted] I did that and called him back at [redacted] and gave him the tracking # .Went to my ATM on 10/26/15 to find out that my checking is in the red for the amount of $993.00.Now I have to pay this back on a small pension.Desired Settlement: refund of funds to my checking and hopefully this business cant do this to any one else.

Dear[redacted]Thank you for your inquiry. I am sorry you are in this situation. Unfortunately, what you have described is a known situation of scam. We are aware (and we have filed an official claim against this practice) of someone using our name to ask money from people. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to help. I recommend you go to your local police authority and file a claim too. I am sorry for your situation.Kind regards,Bertrand J[redacted]Lightspeed LLC

Review: Been a member of My Survey for years. I'm disabled & do surveys to get points for [redacted] Gift cards. Lately I can't qualify for anything. I have to be half dead or a drunk, make $100000, drive a luxury car, have dentures, watch movies at a theatre, take trips, stay at hotels & have air miles. The last frustrating straw: Carol & her crew wanted me to do a 5 day Personal Care Survey. I completed it along with added Q's they asked me. Said I completed it & was worth 600 points. Never got them. Stuck at 560. Most of the opportunities from [redacted] (which I call WASTEPOINT) tells me I SCREENED OUT! There's never an explanation as to why or what for. Other surveys tell you OOPS or we're sorry & give 5 points for attempting to complete something. So annoying.Desired Settlement: I'd like a detailed explanation as to why or what SCREENED OUT means, an apology from Carol, And the 600 points from that Personal Care survey as well as surveys that apply to me! I have Lupus, I'M MARRIED! We watch TV & Grocery shop. Everything is the complete opposite.

Business

Response:

Dear [redacted]Thank you for your Revdex.com inquiry. I am sorry that you had to face the experience you describe. Our clients tend to look for very specific groups of consumers and the "screening" process consists in ensuring that you, as a respondent, is in the target that our client is looking for. There is nothing wrong to not be in the target. It just means that our client is looking for people with a different profile. Depending on the time, it may happen that we have more or less surveys for which you qualify. We are aware that this is not a good experience and we are working with our clients to be less restrictive in their criteria. It also depends on the type of research they run.I hope I have helped you understanding what screened out means (out of the client target). And I hope that you will soon have more survey opportunities.Kind regards,Bertrand J[redacted]Lightspeed LLC

Response:

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:This is STILL unfair to "screen" only 5-10 people & most Q's are ridiculous: asking if I smoke, drink, make $75000 own a Unicycle or have false teeth. PLEASE UPDATE & ask NORMAL Q's for AVERAGE people & if we don't qualify, explain WHY & give 5 points for at least TRYING to DO a survey & taking the time like other survey companies! THANK YOU

Review: I have made numerous attempt trying to resolve issues I have with not getting my points awarded for surveys I have completed with zero response from them. This is a very poor way to treat members.

The first survey is from 08-07 #[redacted] 30 points

second from 08-23 # [redacted] 100 points

third from 09-04 # [redacted] 30 points.

I can see no reason why they are ignoring my messages.

They owe it to their members to respond to messages.Desired Settlement: All I want is the points that I earned and the respect I deserve as a member.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Regards,

[redacted] The only problem with this is they DO NOT have regular contact with me. It sometimes takes weeks or months for them to respond.

Review: On 3/3/15 I took a survey ([redacted] for 30 minutes, and an incentive of 150 points. the name of the business is : Lightspeed, llc, I completed the survey (I time them), once completed, it took me to the homepage and noticed that I had not been credited, I contacted the business about it and they responded and told me that I had been disqualified. I don't understand why they waited till I completed the survey for them to tell me I didn't qualify, even though at the end of the survey it did not tell me that I was disqualified. this is not the first time I have this same issue with these people. I have let these people get away with this too many time, I can't anymore. If I would have been disqualified from the survey after a few questions, that would be acceptable, but 30 minutes (length survey) later ?Desired Settlement: I just want the 150 points due.

I am rejecting this response because: I did complete it, at the end of the survey it said "thanks for completing, please submit to receive rewards". I know when I don't qualify, because it will let me know . this has been an ongoing thing with "my survey" panel.

Response:

Dear [redacted]Thank you for following up. Our records have been checked and I can confirm that you've spent 6.5 minutes in this questionnaire. You actually went through the questions which determine if you are in the target or not. But you unfortunately did not qualify.I am sorry but I can not ask the team to allocate the points for this survey. However, I will submit a request to credit your account with 50 points as a gesture of goodwill on our side to solve the situation and make you satisfied, as a loyal member of our panel.Kind regards,[redacted]Lightspeed LLC

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: I spent a significant amount of time, not 50 points worth. when and if you send anymore surveys, please specify the amount of time and points before I start doing one. The surveys I receive from you say one thing and in the end it gives something a lot different. on your side you see a different amount , on my end I see something different, how is that possible ? it is like we are never on the same page.I think there is a problem on your end because I RARELY have this problem with the other survey panels.

Regards,

Business

Response:

Dear [redacted]Thank you for following up.We always indicate the incentives and how long the survey will be, before you start the survey. This is standard on our panels. The length of interview is a realistic average, which we monitor carefully. We have checked one more time and for this given survey, I can only maintain what I told you in my previous email. We have system logs where your participation has been recorded.I always welcome all feedback, especially directly. My email is [redacted]. If you face another bad experience in the future, please contact me directly. Please note that the 50 points were added to you account yesterday.Kind regards,[redacted]

Review: The complaint is about a survey panel name "Global Test Market" that also goes by the name "Lightspeed,LLC". I only know them by "Global Test Market". I have been sending emails to these people about the money they owe me for taking their surveys, this is the second time I contact them about this ,they are not responding. I would like for them to solve this matter ASAP. I cannot keep sending them the survey numbers every time, that would be too time consuming, they have my emails with the info. on it ,they also owe me for a survey I just completed today (383428) for 30 points that did not post because a message appeared that said "this survey is now closed" AFTER I completed it.Desired Settlement: I want them to contact me and pay me for the survey numbers I sent to them a few weeks ago.

I have emailed then repeatedly and requested that they reopen my account and they have not. I had around $35 in points that were on my account when it was closed. This keeps happening with them and I have requested they email me before they close my account for what ever reason they are saying so I can tell the that I do not what my account closed since they NEVER respond I just want my account reopened and my points backDesired Settlement: I want my account reopened in a timely manner and my points back

Review: Refusal to reactivate an account I never closed. Third time deactivation has happened without my permission.

In Oct. 2014 I sent MySurvey a letter informing them I never unsubscribed from their surveys. They emailed me back saying I sent them a letter saying it was SPAM. I never did. I asked to see the email they said I sent, but never saw it.

This went back and fourth for weeks. FINALLY, they opened my account after I threatened to report them to the Revdex.com. I have the emails which backs this up. This is the second time they've done this at this point.

They had me fill out a question form answering 5 questions about the account, which I did. I have that email as well.

I go to sign in today 4/16/2015 so I can order my [redacted] card and do surveys, and I'm kicked out again. I was on there yesterday and did surveys, and today I was full of invites for more.

I emailed them telling them about the mistake. This is now the third time. They sent me this response:

"Thanks for your email.

To Unsubscribe:

Click on MyProfile at the top right

Scroll down until you see:

Please, click here to start the process of cancelling your membership of MySurvey.

Please allow 48 hours for the process to complete, in the meantime, please disregard any email invitation you may receive.

Any points in your account upon unsubscribing will be forfeited."

They will not listen to me no matter now many times I've said I didn't unsubscribe and I don't want to.

I've more than earned those points. I only want what I've earned.Desired Settlement: I want the points I earned so I can get the [redacted] card I earned for my time doing surveys.

Business

Response:

This panelist has marked our emails as SPAM on more than one occasion. When this happens, the system automatically marks her account as inactive due to SPAM. Panelists contact us after this has happened and are then sent an email requiring them to respond and agree to abide by the rules sent in that email. We research the issue to see how many times they have marked us as SPAM. If less than 10, their account is automatically reactivated and an email is sent letting the panelist know. If more than 10, their account cannot be reactivated and the panelist is notified as such. Also, this panelist was sent automated emails from [redacted] providing information on how to unsubscribe because of the triggers/automations in place with [redacted]. Currently, this panelist’s account is active and has been since April 23, 2015. This panelist can certainly redeem his points.

I am rejecting this response because: I have told them countless times I am not marking them as SPAM. Every email I get from them gos into my regular box, and it's there where I'm getting the messages saying I'm no longer a member. Things are working fine now, but this happens several times per year to me. I've also provided proof of that. It's also on their [redacted] that other survey members have the exact same problems I have. I've also asked for proof they're being marked as SPAM, yet I've never seen any. I however have shown lots of proof that their subscribers besides myself are having the same issues as I do with them. You get kicked out of surveys early and they unsubscribe you from their surveys.

Review: Signed up with my survey.com to take surveys.

They have done several dishonest things.

1. The surveys are much longer than stated. It is common for surveys listed as 15 minutes in duration to last over 30 minutes

2. Failed to award points for installing their app on my cellphone. The app made my phone nearly useless. It crashed numerous times.

3. They deactivated my account without telling me why. I had a point balance of 1415 points. Should have been more but they never awarded the points promised for installing their data collecting app on my phone.

4. A few times I took surveys nearly in their entirety to only be told that I had screened out therefore would receive no points. It is ridiculous to ask somebody to fill out a half hour survey for free especially when they assigned a point value to it.

I could go into much more thorough detail about this bogus site but there isn't much reason toDesired Settlement: They reactivate my account so I can cash out my points.

I am not even interested in continuing doing surveys with this site I just want my points

Review: On December 7, 2015, I contacted the company regarding my account being inactive. On December 18, 2015, the company responded with the following" MySurvey is limited to members actively participating in market research surveys. Active participation in surveys includes but is not limited to truthfully and honestly answering the questions presented in each survey. The survey answers provided by members is vital to the research and businesses asking for opinions. Participation in any of our surveys is voluntary, if you chose not to participate in a survey, for whatever reason, your membership will not be affected.

We are aware of certain members completing surveys without actually answering any survey questions, opening duplicate memberships and/or referring the same person(s) with different email addresses, using the same IP address. In addition to violating the Reward Point Rules, such actions constitute acts of fraud in violation of 18 U.S.C. sec. 1029 in addition to, where applicable, state criminal statutes. Maximum penalties for first time offenders include ten years imprisonment and/or substantial fines. Any members engaging in such fraud will be barred from further access to MySurvey, will automatically lose all Reward Points, and will be reported by Lightspeed Research to the appropriate federal and state authorities for prosecution.

Based on our audit of your membership, we found evidence of such fraud. Therefore, we have inactivated your membership, barred you from future membership and invalidated your accumulated Reward Points. We further reserve the right to report your conduct to the appropriate federal and state authorities.

If you feel this an error, please reply to this email and provide further details."

I participated in surveys to the best of my knowledge and ability and in all honesty. Since surveys are suppose to be anonymous, the company should not have the ability to track down any respondents. Regards,

I have been taking surveys with this company for 4 years. Lately they are getting me to do their surveys and then stating some excuse at the end to not give points. Just comlleted a 30 minute survey and got no points because they said I had already completed the survey which I did not.Recommend that you do not do surveys with this company.

How can one sign in to make this stop when they never created an account at all? Spammers ! Cost me this much time and still cannot reach this [redacted]py shifty [redacted] to take me off they're list ! Not just 1,2,3 even a day no at least 10 spam [redacted] messages in my inbox . I detest and despise this company for such tactics

Review: I am filing this complaint regarding Global Test Market (GTM), one of many Lightspeed GMI survey websites, due to the fact that I have completed a 4 surveys which promised bonus marketpoints upon completion which I have not received. Three of the surveys offered an extra 50 points for allowing the use of my webcam to record my reactions to advertisements, the 4th survey was a "payments diary" which had a final award upon completion of all 7 days of 260 points.

I have contacted GTM multiple times in the past 2+ months regarding the non-awarding of the extra points for the webcam use and have received back either completely false information (2 instances of "You didn't complete the survey and were screened out" when I have sent them proof that I did complete and was awarded the regular points, just not the bonus ones) and one instance of "Please allow 2-3 weeks to receive additional webcam points" on December 10th.

As for the payment diary points, on December 9th I was told the project manager had been informed and would look into it asap. I have heard nothing since and all of the requests have been marked as "Solved" which is not the case.

Support requests I have opened regarding these issues are:

November 22: [redacted] - 1st webcam access survey

November 24: #[redacted] - 2nd webcam access survey

December 5: #[redacted] - payments diary

December 6: #[redacted] - 3rd webcam access survey

December 31: #[redacted] - follow-up regarding payments diary survey, no response yet

January 11: #[redacted] - follow-up regarding the webcam access surveys after requests were marked "Solved"

January 22: #[redacted] - 2nd follow-up regarding the webcam access surveys since request #[redacted] was marked as solved.Desired Settlement: I would like the additional points credited to my account, a total of 410 for the 4 surveys.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. However, what would have helped to avoid this situation is to have the business' support people be able to read and understand complaints so that they can resolve them quickly. I was finally able to get a proper answer to my questions almost 2 weeks after I filed this complaint with the Revdex.com, if the original support person had read and understood my question back in December 2015 this issue would have been resolved at that time.
