An investigation was initiated and it was found that the client had agreed to move forward on several occasions. CA Law states that an agreement either verbal or written is legally binding. (CIVIL CODE SECTION 1619-1633)

My apologies for the mistake there seems to be a lot of this going on in the California area .[redacted]Above is the correct site with the very similar responses for LocalLighthouse.com. Both sites were based out of California not far from each other. They both use the same tactics on stating they are with [redacted] in an automated message which then shortly after transfers you to a representative. This is false advertisement at its finest and I will not stand for this and will not accept anything less then a refund from this company for the last month of "service". If they would like to stand by their word then the media will be my next coarse of action. I would also like to note that a confirmation email still has yet to be sent for the cancelation of local lighthouses "services". I would really appreciate it to know that these "services" have been cancelled and I will not be charged in the future. It seems that this may be another task that this company is unable to complete.

have successfully got him ranking on the first pages of [redacted] AND [redacted]  for at least 5 keywords.  I have attached a screenshot of our client's [redacted] rankings. Also Mr. [redacted] mentioned in his complaint that he should have been reimbursed since he was not satisfied with the service within the 3 months. Unfortunately we do not guarantee money back, that is nowhere on our website or our agreements. He might be confusing that with our 30-90 day guarantee, which is 1 keyword on 1 search engine. Mr. [redacted] contacted Local Lighthouse on 9/10/15 and spoke with a supervisor about the same issue. We let him know that we could not guarantee him first page placement for "[redacted]s" on [redacted].  Even though we did get him on the first page of [redacted] AND [redacted] for that specific keyword. Unfortunately that keyword did not make it on the first page of [redacted] since it is more competitive. We offered Mr. [redacted]  lower billing to $89 a month and understood we could not guarantee/promise him first page placement for that specific keyword. He agreed to lower billing and these terms. Even though he agreed he still stated us he was going to "slander us".  I obtained this information through the notes in our CRM for Mr. [redacted]'s account.Please let me know if you need anything else from us. I can understand the frustration of this prospect however the claims are not justified. A full investigation has been conducted. Work was performed. We will cancel the service term at no charge but will not issue a refund.

This complaint has been forwarded to the head of our Client Resolution department and a representative will reach out to them immediately.

The rep you spoke to was refering that other SEO companies could be calling you, to have them stop calling you would need to go through them....

Also when searching your phone number online, it is listed as a business phone number, which is why we called. Again we apologize, and you will not be recieving another phone call from us.

Local Lighthouse stands by its previous statement. There are thousands of companies that play the same message as Local Lighthouse, it is possible you were called by another company. We will be happy to provide records as well. I would be happy to send the Revdex.com a transcript of the call in which our agent was more than professional while the claimant was verbally abusive. The agent agreed to comply with the claimants demands and did so by placing him on the do not call list.

However, we have no record or recollection of any customer experience fitting the claimant's description, nor can we verify anything about the claimant's identity from the phone number provided.  The photo provided to the Revdex.com is of our office in Orange. Additionally Local Lighthouse conducts all business with the highest of ethical, moral and business standards. If the claimant truly believes we are falsely advertising on our website we would appreciate additional details so that we can better resolve this matter.

When you signed up we waived the initial setup, and you paid at a discounted rate to sign up for our services. You also signed a 6 month agreement which locks you in at $99 per month, if you were to cancel before 6 month agreement is completed you were to pay a early termination fee of $450. In good faith, we cancelled your account early and wavied the early termination fee. We provided the service you signed up for, we are standing by our previous statement and will not be issuing you a refund of $99.Thank you

FCC regulations do not apply to phone numbers used for business purposes. The information requested by the claimant has been included, Local Lighthouse has not broken any law by contacting the claimant.
