I was clearly mislead by the salesperson. My "agreeing" to stay with them after complaint was not willful but after a long argument where I was left with no choice but to pay the full amount anyway AND do 90% of the work, ie. rewrite the content they created...And that at the risk of adversely affecting search engine results, which effectively allows them to not be responsible for their end of the deal. That is why I would not sign their second document. By the time this became clear on the phone, and I have tried during long phone calls to clarify, that they would only accept full payment or continuation, I was so upset that I had to stop the conversation. I could not speak with any dignity anymore. In my written complaint I clearly asked for termination without further charge. This is a fair request. If I were like most people, I might be suing for undo stress and damage to my company for misrepresentation. It appears Local Lighthouse continues to be unwilling to hear this. I remain unhappy with the website and unwilling to pay them for work that I end up doing. I have not made more changes because they have already cost me too much time. I regret the day I ever answered the phone to this company. They have already wasted literally hours of my time and I am shaking with anger just writing about it.  Their reply is further proof of their lack of customer consideration. They have the power to fix this situation by ending my "contract" without further charge and removing the content they created from the internet. Everyone would be happier if they did.

Original contents of website has been removed . not satisfied with website they put on [redacted]. They charged money for original website. Their employees [redacted] is responsible. She said it is our property. Then they chared from me for what?

Paid $199 deposit in Good faith, additionally $99 a month for eight consecutive months from April-November.  Total $991.  I was offered $99 refund.  that is less than 10% of the total "investment".  I choose to not accept this offer at this time.

 Our goal is to achieve superior online presence on major search engines.I enclose the following information as evidence of the validity of our services:Link to the website we created for the clientLinks to social media business pages we created[redacted] became an active client of Local Lighthouse on 4/1/2015 when he provided the credit card ending in [redacted], and agreed to our terms and conditions.  We build the client’s business “[redacted]” a beautiful six page Search Engine Optimized website for first page placement on a major search engine. Client’s payment declined in May 2015 and [redacted] provided a new credit card. In August of 2015 client submitted extensive revisions to site. All revisions were completed the best of our ability and his monthly payment was cut in half due to the fact we took a little longer on completion because we were not able to do all the requested changes. Our company focuses on Search Engine Optimization and the changes that were requested would affect the rankings and online presence we were trying to receive for the client. After those changes were done in August of 2015 we did not hear from client until March 2016. We assumed everything was up to par for client because he wasn’t requesting and additional changes. In March of 2016 client requested to cancel because he was listed as Antiques and he did not provide that service.  This was not brought up to us back in 2015 to correct when his site first went live and we were doing the extensive revisions otherwise we would have corrected then. Even though his account has been cancelled with us since September 2015, we have issued him a refund of $297 and he agreed. He was issued the refund yesterday along with a receipt. [Hi, Local Lighthouse never met the terms of their own agreement because they never provided a website based on my onboarding interview. This should make that agreement null & void. It might even be possible to pull up a recorded call, which proves that Local Lighthouse ignored most of my instructions and built a website based on false information they sourced from who knows where. They misrepresented my business and put my liquor license in jeopardy. True, they have lowered my monthly fees, but I was already paying for nothing. Essentially, I was paying for stress caused by the Local Lighthouse, and they wouldn't take down the site or let me speak to a senior manager. I strongly believe that I shouldn't pay them for this scam. If anything, I should be the one compensated by the insane stress they caused my brand new business. There've been other complaints filed, which proves that Local Lighthouse is a horribly run and scammy business. I expect full financial reimbursement from this atrocious company. Please make my remarks about them public! Thank you. ]

We sent Ms. [redacted] multiple emails, as well as explained during her welcome call that our SEO services target a specific city to ensure the best results from the search engines. We sent Ms. [redacted] an email with the company information she had provided to us during her welcome call to review as well as our contact information in case anything needed to be changed or was incorrect. Our representatives did their best on multiple phone calls to educate Ms. [redacted] on the process of SEO and what we were doing on behalf of her company. The map that Ms. [redacted] is referring to is a Google maps listing that we were able to widen the area in which the listing would be able to be reached to attempt to work with the client’s request. We sincerely apologize that Ms. [redacted] felt like we were not up front with our answers regarding her account however we do adhere to the promises outlined in the agreement we provided Ms. [redacted].
