Local Lighthouse has reached out to the claimant and has resolved this matter. The claimant was already a cancelled account, we explained our service specifics and claimant understood. Local Lighthouse agreed to refund the claimant in the amount of $199.

After researching the matter Local Lighthouse has found the following:Claimant [redacted], was sold a six month subscription to which he signed a written contract. agent.  at the (19:20) in the sales call the claimant verbally acknowledges his understanding for the service he was purchasing. Our client support team had attempted to reach out multiple times but were met with threats or hung up on.  The account has now been cancelled. The response by Lighthouse is correct and the first month of billing was September 19, 2014. The sixth billing was on February 19, 2015. The seventh billing which complaint  was filed for was on March 19, 2015. The Lighthouse response also correctly states that contract was canceled in February of 2015. I can not improve on their confession in their response. So where is my refund?[redacted]

We have no record or recollection of any customer experience fitting the claimant's description, nor can we verify anything about the claimant's identity from the phone numbers provided. We apologize if the claimant believes our response to be "disingenuous" please rest assured that we are not being candid. Unfortunately we have done everything in our hands to resolve this matter.  If the claimant can not furnish additional information or documentation in support of the original claim we will close this matter on our end.

I stand by my comments also. I have no confidence that they will start obeying the law regarding the Do Not Call list, cease to contact me or advertise honestly. I will handle further phone harassment through the police and FTC.

To Whom It May Concern, Ms. [redacted]’s website was completed on July 14th as per the timeline she was given at signup. We sent Ms. [redacted] an email and all pages and information were available at that point to be reviewed and changes submitted to avoid any erroneous information being picked up by Google, Yahoo, or Bing. We apologize for any difficulty Ms. [redacted] may have had in contacting us to make changes, however it does seem Ms. [redacted] spoke with several representatives throughout her campaign over the phone as well as through email.  Our company is in the business of providing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and assists local and small business owners to improve overall online presence.  We offer services to place businesses in local maps, organic search and sponsored results online. We did make every attempt to resolve our client’s concerns and provide her with a beneficial marketing service and tried to compensate for her frustration by offering lowered billing. Local Lighthouse does not advertise on our clients sites and the pop up that Ms. [redacted] is referring to may be something the computer being used generated, or there may be some confusion regarding the site we made on behalf of the business. Ms. [redacted] mentioned her concern about the invoices via email and we did offer to send Ms. [redacted] a monthly invoice, however there was never a response to that inquiry.

Local Lighthouse stands by its previous statement. After reviewing the deatils on this account we have agreed to cancel the clients account. We will be waving the early cancellation fee.

[redacted],In regards to your previous message, at the time you were contacted by the sales rep you were cold called. Our business model has changed and we no longer do business that way. I'm sorry you felt pressure by the sales representative, but we DO NOT force clients to sign up or sign our agreements, which you did in this case. When it comes to cancelling an account with LLH, we do not try to make it difficult on purpose. We do have to "escalate" the account because upper management are the only ones who can close/cancel accounts. They may have placed you on hold, but being on hold for 15 minutes or longer is not an appropriate time, and we do apologize for that. Of course we are going to try to do our best when it comes to clients' cancelling, that is why we provide suggestions to help out your online visibility. I'm sorry you took that the wrong way.

Mr. [redacted],I'm truly sorry about all the confusion when it comes to receiving a new website when you signed up with Local Lighthouse. More than half of our clients already had their own existing website, which is not a problem.  Your website '[redacted]' is linked to the website we built for you. So each time someone finds the website we created for you, there is a link called "Full Website" which leads directly to your website. The reason we create clients' a brand new website is for the SEO work. We build you a website from the ground up to make sure it is SEO friendly. Unfortunately if we were to work on ALL of our clients existing website  then we would not be able to guarantee you the time line of 30-90 days, it would take even longer than that. It is stated on our agreements what each client will receive from Local Lighthouse when they sign up. A document that you successfully signed and completed. It is also attached to this email. We guarantee you front page placement for the search engines but we cannot guarantee/promise specific keywords. On the bright side, we did get you ranking on the first pages of [redacted] AND [redacted] for "[redacted] in [redacted]". When it comes to [redacted] it is more competitive. At this point Mr. [redacted], I will have a supervisor in our customer service department give you a call to see how you would like to proceed with your account since we already lowered your billing once with your approval.
