Review: I listed my car for sale on Craig's list [redacted], and driven.com contacted me to try to sell my car for a fee. I placed a notice on the Craig's list advertisement that I did not want any soliciitations, and yet they Called me anyway to try to make money from the sale of my car.Desired Settlement: Driven.com should respect the laws and requests of the consumers who are privately selling their items and not disturb them or try to sell them services when it has explicitly been described on the site not to contact sellers with any solicitations. If I am contacted by them again, I will have my attorney file a law suit.

Response:

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The company offering to remove my phone number from their list, and placing it on the do not call list does not ensure that there will be no further contact by their company which is illegal and against the policies of Craig's list. I clicked on the box requesting no solicitations and yet they contacted me trying to get me to use their service to sell my vehicle. If I list another vehicle for sale they may still try to use my information to contact me, and this is rather disturbing in that there is no assurance they will not further harass me in the future with unwarranted soliciting and phone calls or emails. It costs money from my minutes to check my voicemail and is also a great inconvenience to have to spend time out of my work day to deal with unwarranted illegal solicitations. What further protection can be offered to a legitimate consumer, exercising the right to privately sell a car online? Please let the company of once driven.com that I am not resolved to accept their offer. What other assurance and compensation can be given for them causing so much trouble as to me having to take the time to file a complaint so that I can be left in peace and stop being harassed by their company? as is, they have harassed 243 other consumers, privately trying to sell their cars. What other assurance do I have that they have kept my contact information confidential and have not sold it to others?

Regards,

Review: This company keeps calling my personal phone number, even tho I've stated I do not need help selling my item..Desired Settlement: Stop harassing me with unsolicited phone calls..

Review: Posted Motorcycle for sale on Craigslist. I checked the do not solict box. Started receiving calls from Once Driven. Researched company. Multiple complaints for unauthorized marketing/cold calling. I believe a strategy could be utilized to pull multiple individuals to affirm that they have been called without consent through Once Driven's cold calling through the Craigslist adverts. I am not looking for any monetary reward - just looking to shut down their bs practice. I am looking to gather names of anyone who has been contacted through unethical solicitation or through unethical business practices.Desired Settlement: Looking to file a class action lawsuit.

Response:

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

After conducting research - I have found your company's strategy of browsing personal adverts and contacting them when they specifically stated they do not wish to be contacted for solicitation. Your strategy/practice is illegal. Simply adding me to your company's do not call list is unsatisfactory as I should have never been contacted in the first place. I have found countless complaints across the internet on various websites of similar situations as mine. Restructure your corporate strategy to meet legal compliance of the law. I am researching legal action in the form of a class action lawsuit. Not for monetary gain - but because the company itself is an annoyance and deserves to be shut down due to incompetence. My advice to you: Seek a career with a reputable company.

Review: I posted an ad to sell my car on [redacted]. Once Driven found the listing and called me to sell their service of $189. the sales rep (who I forget the name of) told me that the service was risk free and if my car didnt sell then I would be refunded the cost (minus a $29 processing fee). the car didnt sell, in fact I didnt receive any leads at all from Once Driven. When I asked for a refund they pointed me to their terms and conditions that state that I would only be refunded if I sold the car during that period. if it didnt sell I got nothing back. This was defintely not communicated upfront, it was positioned as a blanket 45 day money back gurantee. They will not refund me after I complained.Desired Settlement: Refund of $160

Business

Response:

Mr. [redacted] has been refunded. I just spoke with him over the telephone. Mr. [redacted]'s refund of $160 will be back to his original method of payment within 3-5 business days.Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: Company continued to call my cell phone offering their services to sell my vehicle when they had written instruction that I had no interest in their services.Desired Settlement: To get them to stop calling, I had to go through a lengthy telephone process wasting my time. I would like their business practice changed so that they honor the request of a person selling their vehicle on [redacted] and do not contact them when it specifically says in the advertisement "do not contact with other services."

While it is too late for me, I would hope we could prevent others from receiving this harassment.

I've never contacted them. They are calling from unknown numbers and leave the number & information in the voicemail. The man's name is [redacted]. They have absolutely never received any type of request for authorization to use my information or contact me.

I've never heard nor have I never heard of this company and would like it to stop immediately.

I am already on the national do not disturb list.Desired Settlement: Don't contact me or call me again

Review: I used this Auto service to sell my vehicle, a 2006 Jeep Commander. I paid for the service on March 1st, 2013. It was $249 + $29 processing fee. The $249 was refundable after 90 days if my car did not sell on their site. My car did not sell on their site, so I sent in the required forms for my $249 refund. They received my paperwork on June 4th, 2013. They acknowledged me by email telling me they received it and my refund would take 6-8 weeks. It has now been almost 3 months and I have still not seen my refund. They refuse to respond to my emails and no one answers their phones. I got through to them over the phone 2 times and both times they said they are sending an email to the billing department to see what the issue is. Still no response via email and no refund. I have an email correspondence that proves they received my paperwork for the refund and has them telling me the "check is in the mail" essentially.Desired Settlement: 249 dollar refund + interest and for the business to not be allowed to run any longer.

Business

Response:

AMS apologizes for the delay of Mr. [redacted]'s refund. The refund of $249 was processed today. Mr. [redacted] will need to allow 3-5 business days for the refund to appear back to his credit card account. Sincerely, [redacted] Customer Service Manager- Auto Marketing Systems

Regards,

Review: I placed an add on my local [redacted] site to sell my motorcycle. I specifically stated "do NOT contact me with unsolicited services or offers" on the listing. One day later I received a voicemail call from a representative of Once Driven who identified himself as [redacted] who offered a service that would guarantee the sale of my vehicle for a fee. So I called to see what this was about, and a woman named [redacted] answered the call.

[redacted] from Once Driven contacts [redacted] sellers when they clearly stated that they do not want to be contacted. [redacted] was very very good in her sales presentation of her Once Driven Service, especially where she says repeatedly that they have a list of prospective buyers looking for a motorcycle just like the one I had posted on [redacted]. With a cost of $ 189.00 it was stated that OnceDrive would present my motorcycle to highly interested buyers they had a listing of as this was a part of their free service to try and to locate a particular motorcycle for their clients. The company representative states they had/have pre-screened buyers for my vehicle/motorcycle when in fact they most likely do not. I take part responsibility in this matter as I believed this person, [redacted], from [redacted]. I believed and trusted that they did have clients ready to buy right now and their service for $189.00 would be a means to expedite the sale in a most timely manner and I would begin being contacted by the list of their clients they referred to me. Unfortunately, after paying them for their service and allowing a couple of weeks to pass, I HAVE NOT had one potential buyer from Once Driven's list contact me. This has further enforced my statement that they DID NOT have a list of clients looking for a motorcycle like and were ready to BUY right now. I can only believe that I have been lied to and miss lead.Desired Settlement: Based on many posts of scam reports online this is a standard sales practice for Once Driven and does meet the criteria for deceptive services to be offered for a fee;, ie these stated list of buyers ready to buy. I would like to see the company implement an ethics training program for their sales staff. I would like a full refund but will accept a refund of $160.00 credited back to my credit card and hope that this" administrative fee" cause/motivates them to change their business practices of contacting [redacted] sellers or sellers from any other sites, that clearly states that they do not want to be contacted for solicitation reasons and that they have on hand what they are selling. If they really had client lists as they stated they had who were ready to make a buy right away and with funds in hand, I should have gotten one contact referral at the very minimum. I am also on the national no-call listing which they totally ignored.

Business

Response:

Mr. [redacted] complains that

he was contacted despite the fact that his online ad stated not to and that no

potential buyers reached out to him. Please let him know that his online

ad can be found on multiple sites and the language he references is not always

part of the ad when found on other sites. As for servicing his account,

we are looking into why no potential buyers reached out to him in those first

couple of weeks.

As we did not meet his

expectations, we processed his full $189 refund on May 27, 2015 (and notified

him).

Thank you for giving us

an opportunity to respond.

Regards,

Review: I have a old truck for sale on [redacted] in [redacted]. It's been up for 3 or 4 weeks now and I've received so many phone calls from this company claiming they're going to sell my vehicle for me and can make me thousands more than I have it listed for and claim it is in high demand. This truck is a 2004 and it has over 300,000 miles on it. This obviously makes it very difficult to sell I've gotten so many phone calls from specifically [redacted] at once driven I could not even count I've also received several phone calls from other sales persons involved with this company, sometimes I'll get 3 or 4 phone calls within a matter of a couple hours. I've done quite a bit of research Internet about this company and I've not found anything to be positive whatsoever their complaints and warnings on various sites of people claiming they were misled or taken advantage of. This is why I have asked them to please quit calling me. In the past few weeks if I were to ask anything to the person on the phone regarding the company or even mention what I read online the caller instantly turns from sweet and helpful friendly sales person to nasty, rude and even had a manager fly off the handle with me and basically told me to shut up so he could talk. Wow..... I could not believe it and on other occasions I've been hung up on 3 to 5 times just asking to be removed off the call list. In addition to this my ad on [redacted] CLEARLY states that I am not to be contacted by any 3rd parties or outside services. I am really starting to get upset and sick of the voice-mail I will wake up to every day from [redacted]. It's like they enjoy this harassment. Now I'm getting voice-mail without the phone even ringing somehow and then they call from 3 or more different numbers. I've seen caller ID say New York, Las Vegas, Reno, Texas, and more. Please make it stop! I've had enough and these people need to be shut down. Relentless predators and extremely poor business practices like this should be outlawed it's causing me unnecessary stress and it's just so annoying I hope they will stop soon. And I would like to say that as of today I will be documenting these calls and messages for further support of my complaint and future complaints if necessary. Feel free to contact me about this matter via the information I have provided earlier in this process if you have any questions at all. Thank you for your time and your service.Desired Settlement: After what I've read online and all of the complaints I think this company should be investigated for their business practices and at a very minimum should not be able to contact anybody via [redacted] ads especially when they opt out of being contacted for other solicitations or third parties which is the optional box you can click when listing items for sale I'm pretty sure it violates [redacted] policy . Also the way they continue to call after being told to lose my number and remove it from their call list should be illegal also I am on every Do Not Call list I could find to register my phone number with to avoid these type of things I just want them to not be able to do this to other people their style of Doing Business & sales tactics are very cunning and clever and could easily trick an unsuspecting person and take advantage of them I'm glad I did my research and didn't become another victim of their scam.

Response:

Thank you for giving us an

opportunity to respond to Mr. [redacted] complaint. Based on the details

of his complaint, it sounds as if he has communicated with, and is being

contacted by, multiple companies unrelated to OnceDriven.

First, we have no record that he

has reached out to us from the number in the complaint or that he has spoken to

one of our sales representatives. If he can please provide a different

number that he may have contacted us from, I will absolutely investigate the

matter to determine if he was indeed disrespected by one of our representatives

and discipline them accordingly.

Second, Mr. [redacted] asserts that he was contacted 3 or 4 times within a couple

of hours and received calls from New York, Las Vegas, Reno, and Texas.

According to our records, these calls had to have been made by other companies

unrelated to OnceDriven.

Lastly, Mr. [redacted] indicates that he has made multiple requests not to be

contacted. We have no records of such requests, but did immediately add

his number to a no contact list upon receipt of this complaint.

Thank you again for the opportunity to respond.

Sincerely,

[redacted]Quality Assurance Manager

Review: A sales person from this company called me when I was driving. He said he had a buyer for a vehicle which I had advertised on [redacted]. I foolishly believed him. He told me it would be a commission of $189.00 which he would refund if his contact did not purchase the vehicle. Wanting to sell the vehicle, I paid him the money. Never heard from him again. After many phone calls to Once Driven, they have never provided any buyers for this vehicle. I have requested my money back but they have refused now saying if I sold it myself, they would refund the money after 45 days. Checking the internet, found out that they scam people all the time and get all their contacts from [redacted] which is strictly forbidden by [redacted]. They scam artists of the highest caliber. DO NOT do business with these people. They are liars and cheats. I want my money back now!Desired Settlement: Refund of money.

Response:

Mr. [redacted] called Once Driven on 9/28/2015 at 9:12 A. M. EST and placed a listing for his 2001 Ford Ranger with [redacted] (Not [redacted]). At no time has Once Driven's refund guarantee changed. I have placed a link to the Once Driven 45-Day Money Back Guarantee below for Mr. [redacted] convenience. If Mr. [redacted] has sold his vehicle, please have him submit proof of his vehicle sale, and Once Driven will review his refund request. If Mr. [redacted] Ranger has not sold, Once Driven will continue to market his vehicle until it is sold (As outlined in the 45-Day Money Back Guarantee). I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

These people called me when they got my number from my [redacted] ad. I had never heard of them prior to their call. They lied & told me they had several buyers. They do not have any & never did. It is a scam. They provided no service of any kind. I asked them to return my money or send me a list of buyers. They refuse to do either. I have also turned them in to my credit card company. I will never pay their bill as it is bogus.

Regards,

Review: Oncedriven contacted me about an ad for a vehicle I had placed on a prominent website. The ad specifically said "Do not contact this poster". Oncedriven left a robocall on a cell phone (that is also on the DNC list) regarding the posting saying that they "had people inquiring about" my vehicle. I feel that the company is in violation of multiple laws regarding solicitation.Desired Settlement: Company needs to cease and desist in calling posters who state "do not contact", as well as not performing robocalls/messages. My phone did not ring, the message went directly into voicemail.

total scam. I recieve phone calls from them by a robot trying to sell me service. they found my personal information on other sites and used it to contact me. these sites I used ban this type of technique so oncedriven is using illegal marketing techniques and sales strategies aka scams. ive done research and found they have been doing this to many others.
