Review: I was offered to sell my used car by Onesdriven for $189 fee refundable (except for $29), if I sell the car myself within 45 days. I sold the car myself through [redacted] in 6 days. I am sure my buyer did not use Oncedriven since I left there my middle name and he mentioned a different asking price than what was listed on Oncedriven.

When I contacted Oncedriven for a refund, they made me fill a long form online and then asked me to call the toll free number which does not answer and does not return messages.

After I left multiple messages with Once driven saying that I will take this to Revdex.com and my Credit Card co., they called me back saying that "since I already complained to Revdex.com and Credit Card, they will NOT refund".Desired Settlement: Refund of $160 a credit to the credit card that was charged.

Business

Response:

Contrary to Mr. [redacted] claim that Once Driven does not return messages, Mr. [redacted] and I spoke about his refund eligibility on 1/20/2015 at 1:36 P.M. EST. over the telephone. This return call I made to Mr. [redacted] was made within 1 business day after his initial message was received at 4:31 P.M. EST. on 1/19/2015. Upon calling Mr. [redacted], I apologized for the delayed response since I was not in the office to take his call at the time of his message the day before. Mr. [redacted] voicemail message received on 1/19/2015 confirmed that he had charged back the refund amount with his credit card company. When I spoke with Mr. [redacted] on 1/20/2015, he confirmed that he had in fact charged back his refund amount with his bank card company. I then explained to Mr. [redacted] that Once Driven would not be issuing a refund based on this information, since his refund dollars would be retrieved by performing the charge back with his bank card company. In order for Mr. [redacted] new request for a refund to be considered from Once Driven, I will need an email or fax from Mr. [redacted] bank card company stating that no charge back has been performed or is pending at this time. If

Mr. [redacted] has not performed a charge back (contrary to his original statement on 1/19/2015) and

has sold his vehicle by other means than a buyer provided by Once Driven

within the first 45 days of his listing, Once Driven will be happy to

honor its refund policy guarantee. Once the requested information is provided, Once Driven will perform a refund of Mr. [redacted] purchase price of $189 minus the $29 processing fee immediately. I have added my email address and fax number for Mr. [redacted] convenience to provide to his bank.Sincerely,[redacted]Customer Service Manager [redacted]Fax: ###-###-####

Review: I paid AMS marketing $229.00 to market my 2001 Corvette. Their guarantee stated that if they did not sell my car, I could request a refund minus a $29.00 fee. They did not sell my car and I followed their instructions to the letter to request a refund. They acknowledge that they have received my request in May 2013 and that everything is in order but they keep having "administrative issues" with the refund. I have called every 2 weeks and am always told that it is being processed and it will take another couple of weeks. They will not let me talk to anyone in a position of authority.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to credit my credit card back the $200.00 that they owe me

Business

Response:

AMS apologizes for the delay of Mr. [redacted]'s refund. The refund of $220 ($249 minus the $29 processing fee) was processed today. Mr. [redacted] will need to allow 3-5 business days for the refund to appear back to his credit card account. Sincerely, [redacted] Customer Service Manager- Auto Marketing Systems

Review: I listed a motorcycle for sale on [redacted] and explicitly stated that I was not to receive solicitation offers from businesses. I received no less than 8 calls from oncedriven.com asking if I wanted to list my motorcycle for sale with them.Desired Settlement: I want to never be contacted by this company again and wanted to forge a formal complaint regarding their unsavory solicitation tactics.

Regards,

Review: I was in the process of selling my motorcycle I was contacted by once driven and told there was a high demand for the motorcycle I was selling and they believed they would immediately sell it. They told me that if they did not find a buyer I would receive a full refund. I agreed and they charged me $189 to place an ad on their site. In almost a month and a half I did not receive a single call from an interested buyer. I ended up selling my motorcycle on Craigslist and sent my release of liability(bill of sale) to the DMV as the law states you must do within 5 days. I used once driven's online form to submit a request for my refund as stated by the rep that sold me the service. I called to verify my refund and was told that it could take up to 2 months to process my refund due to having to wait for dmv to process the release of liability. I was told if I wished I could hand write a paper bill of sale and include the year make and model vin number date of sale and buyers info on the bill of sale and once driven would accept that to process my refund. I received an email from a rep saying now that the bill of sale is not sufficient even through I was told the day prior it was sufficient. Once driven refused to let me speak to a manager and told me there is nothing they can do and refused to refund my money as agreed. Any time I attempt to call a rep tells me they will transfer me to a manager and it immediately goes to a voicemail.Desired Settlement: Refund my money as agreed upon me selling my motorcycle without assistance from once driven.com

Business

Response:

Mr. [redacted] did send in a handwritten Bill Of Sale for the sale of his

motorcycle. After further review, Once Driven has accepted this paperwork as a validated form for his

proof of sale, and has refunded his service fee minus the $29 processing

fee. The refund of $160 was processed today, and will appear back on his

credit card account ending with 5959 within 3-5 business days.Sincerely,[redacted]Customer Service Manager

Regards,

Review: I received a call from Once Driven asking me to allow them to help sell my car. I paid $189. After a few days of initially placing my ad I received a few emails of people supposedly interested in my car, so I email them, and it turns out the emails weren't even real. I have not received any other information or "hits" on my car since. I tired calling my support person, and left messages and never received a call back. I finally talked to someone today with customer service, she was very rude and said I only called once and talked to someone. That is not true at all! I have never been able to talk to my support person ([redacted]). She never called me back. I wanted to reduce the price on my listing and needed help. Today, the rude lady I talked to said, no wonder, your car is priced at $3000 over. I said, this is the price your company recommended I list it at and when I wanted to change it I couldn't speak to anyone. Horrible, horrible customer service. I have never in my life been scammed like this.Desired Settlement: I will accept a full refund of $189.

Business

Response:

On behalf of Once Driven, I would like to apologize for Ms. [redacted]'s dissatisfaction with its service and support. Per Ms. [redacted]'s request for resolution, Once Driven has issued a full refund of $189 back to the original method of payment. The refund will appear back to the card account ending with 4165 within the next 3-5 business days.Sincerely,[redacted]

Regards,

Review: I was using [redacted] to sell my vehicle (2003 Infiniti), about 1 year ago (Sep 2014). OneDriven must have gotten my phone number from [redacted] and called me to offer their service (which is strange, because I checked the box for not wanting unsolicited parties to contact me). They told me that they will advertise my car on their website and believe that they can sell my car in less than a month. Although they couldn't give me a guarantee, they said that they would be surprised to see my car still on the market in a few weeks, based on what they've see from their website and that I should have at least 10 people calling me daily from their website. They also told me that if I sell it myself, they would just need proof and I would get my money back ($200), anytime. I asked if there was a time limit, and they said no, if I sold it, I would be able to get a refund at anytime.

1. Not one person called ever and after checking oncedriven.com website ratings, they don't have any traffic, so I can't imagine they are able to sell even one car. They generated absolutely nothing.

2. I sold the car on my own and called oncedriven.com a few days ago with proof of sale, asking for my refund. The CS agent told me that actually I had a timeline for selling my car, which was 45 days and since I didn't sell it within that timeframe, I am no longer eligible for a refund. This is the complete opposite of what the sales agent who took my payment said, who stated that I had unlimited time.Desired Settlement: 100% refund

Business

Response:

Ms. [redacted] was eligible for a refund from Once Driven if her vehicle had been sold by any other means other than Once Driven within the first 45 days of her original start date on 9/11/2014. Ms. [redacted]'s vehicle has been marketed on Once Driven since the purchase date of 9/11/2014 until 9/1/2015 when she stated that her Infiniti had been sold. The same guarantee that Once Driven has on its website and all receipts that are sent to each customer (upon purchase) state the 45-Day money back guarantee, and give instructions on how to obtain a refund (if eligible) within the 45-Day guarantee dates. Unfortunately, Ms. [redacted] did not sell her vehicle by other means, thus forfeiting her opportunity for a refund with Once Driven. I have attached a direct link to the Once Driven 45-Day Money Back Guarantee for Ms. [redacted]'s convenience. [redacted]Sincerely,[redacted]Customer Service Manager

Response:

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. This is in reference to complaint ID # [redacted], to send back to the business (oncedriven):Although I understand their reply: that their 45 day money back guarantee is stated on the website and on all receipts, I am a bit confused. An agent who called me told me 2 lies:1. I was going to get at least 10 responses a day, and he anticipated that my car will get sold in a few weeks. I didn't get even 1 in a year. Do you call this service 'marketing' and expect customers to pay for it?2. The CS rep stated that I could come back to prove the sale of my car, anytime, not in 45 days. Why would I, as the consumer read the policy, which your CS rep clearly stated to me already over the phone? Furthermore, oncedriven just last week in their response wrote: The same guarantee that Once Driven has on its website and all receipts that are sent to each customer (upon purchase) state the 45-Day money back guarantee, and give instructions on how to obtain a refund (if eligible) within the 45-Day guarantee dates. This is another lie. I have my receipt, and nowhere on there is there anything about a 45-day money back guarantee or instructions. I will forward my receipt, which I still have right now. Review: This Business guaranteed to aggressively advertise my vehicle for sale.

Despite this alleged advertising, I failed to receive a single referral from them in the 4 mo time.

In order to get me to agree to there service, they claimed they had the expertise to value my vehicle & that my naive suggestion for $7,000 was appropriate.

The true value of the vehicle was off by $4,000, and they clearly have no "expertise" in valuing standard vehicles, let alone vehicles that have been modified for the disabled.

Lastly, They verbally advertised a return of the purchase price if I failed to sell within 45 days. I finally sold the vehicle 156 days later without a single referral from Once Driven. I called to request a refund only to be referred to the written policy that states that I had to make the request in 45 days or "less" as apposed to what I was verbally told of 45 days or "more".

My family & I are still grieving over the recent death of both my Mother & Brother.

I don't appreciate being taken advantage of by a slick salesmen with a classic bate & switch.

I also don't appreciate the rudeness of being hung up on when I made the request!Desired Settlement: Refund

Business

Response:

In a good faith effort, Once Driven has processed Mr. [redacted] request for a refund of his purchase price of $189. The refund will appear back to his originla method of payment within 3-5 business days. To be clear, Once Drivens refund policy does not state that a customer is eligible for a refund if a vehicle is not sold after 45 days. I have provided a direct link to the 45-Day Money Back Guarantee for Once Driven below: [redacted]Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: I have an ad posted on Craigslist.org which specifically states not to contact me to sell me any products or services. My phones number is also listed on the government do not call list and this company is calling me repeatedly after being told to stop and to put my phone number on their own do not call list. The representative also claimed that the company is a non-profit and therefore they don't have to comply with the governments do not call list. Their business practices don't sound legal.Desired Settlement: I want them to stop cold calling people to sell their services to people who clearly don't want to purchase their services. Also they need to properly represent who they are and not claim that they are a non-profit company.

Business

Response:

Mr. [redacted] asserts that Longwood

Industries ("Longwood") is ignoring Craigslist's request not to

contact posters with other commercial interests. To the

contrary, Longwood simply believes Craigslist meant that language to apply

only to random marketers (like a credit card company) scouring the

web to pitch something completely unrelated to

why the poster placed their contact information online in the first

place. If the poster's goal is to sell their vehicle and Longwood has

a viable alternative to help them achieve their goal, who would object to

that? If they do, Longwood will certainly respect their wishes.

Longwood will not contact Mr. [redacted] at the number provided.

With that said, we would like to clarify two things stated by Mr. [redacted].

First, he stated that we ignored

his do-not-call requests. We have no record of him contacting any of our

reps from the number provided in the complaint. Every rep is trained to

record every request and immediately enter it into the system. Second,

Mr. [redacted] states that Longwood is not a non-profit organization (“OnceDriven”

is a DBA for Longwood). As the Revdex.com knows, Longwood is a non-profit

organization.

Thank you for giving us an

opportunity to respond.

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

They are automatically dialing numbers without even reading the the craigslist post. Otherwise they would have read the following paragraph:

'If you aren't a buyer or a buyers representative don't bother calling and wasting both of our times. I will not buy any services from a third party. I just may call your 800 number back to annoy you once I have some time to kill.'

This cold calling has to stop. My phone is also listed with the government DoNotList, and a complaint has been filed with them as well. The company is just randomly calling all posts from craigslist and then once they connect me with a representative are they searching or my post and trying to sell their non-sense service. I don't want it. If I wanted to spend money to advertise this car I would have already done so, but craigslist is a perfect place to sell anything, without needing to be bothered by companies like these.

Review: I got a call from Once Driven offering to sell my car on their site for $189. They told me that they would get buyers sent over to me that were interested in my vehicle. In 12 days I did not even a single inquiry. When I contacted customer service they suggested that maybe I lower my price. I made it clear that I had to sell at that price and they had assured me when I listed my vehicle that I was asking a reasonable price. They give you nothing extra in terms of leads over free sites like [redacted] or [redacted]. I want my add to be pulled and my money refunded.Desired Settlement: Full refund and legal action against oncedriven.com for misrepresentation. they care calling my cell and I want them to stop the calls

Review: My complaint is the same as the other nearly 300 complaints on the Revdex.com abou the company "Once Driven". They took $189 from me under a "money back guarantee" that they would sell my vehicle. When they did not sell it, I asked for a refund and was hung up on. I have been working on this for over a week and there is nothing left I can do. This is simply a fraudulent company stealing money from people online.Desired Settlement: Speedily return my money in full

Since Mr. [redacted] has not sold his motorcycle by other means, Once Driven will continue to list his Harley-Davidson at no additional fee until his motorcycle is sold.In addition, I have provided a link to the Once Driven 45-Day Money Back Guarantee below for Mr. [redacted]'s convenience.[redacted]Sincerely,[redacted]Customer Service Manager

Review: The Auto Marketing Systems business advertised that for $249.00, they would advertise my 1978 Jaguar car would be sold nationally with their listing. Their 90 day money-back policy states that if the car was not sold in that time frame, then I would be entitled to the $249.00 which would be refunded less $29.00 for their fee. I notified them within the 90 day time frame that I would like to have my refund. I have called at least 6 times since January of 2013 in which I should have been refunded. Review: Please allow me to try and explain my concerns and aggrevations to you about this company .[redacted] .... On Jan 17, 2014 I entered into a Contract with OnceDriven for the sum of $189.00 which my purchase was to include there 45 Day Money-Back Guarentee !!! Meaning if I was to sell the Motorcycle myself that they listed on there website in 45 days or less to a buyer who was not delivered by OnceDriven, I may request a refund... Here are there exact words: OnceDriven.com offers a 45-Day Money-Back Guarantee to those who purchase our $189 service. This guarantee protects sellers in the event they sell the vehicle to a buyer not delivered by OnceDriven within 45 days of signing up with us. If you meet the following criteria and sell the vehicle before we do, you may request a refund. To be eligible to request a refund: - Sellers must provide a photo within 14 calendar days of sign-up - Sellers must request the refund within the first 45 days of sign-up - Sellers must sell the vehicle to buyer not delivered by OnceDriven - Sellers must provide verification of sale of the vehicle What is this? Sellers who have met the above criteria will receive a refund of the purchase price ($189) minus a $29 processing fee. Requests may be made using our simple online form. If you choose not to request a refund, we will market your vehicle until sold, at no additional charge. I of course DID sell the Motorcycle well within 45 days and completed ALL there requirements to be eligible for the refund. On Feb 12, 2014 OnceDriven emailed me stating they did receive my request for a refund and it had been forwarded to there Refund Dept.... They said to allow 7-10 business days for our team to validate your request.... Then a Refund will be promptly processed... Well my dear sirs That was Feb 12th they received my paperwork... They said allow 7-10 business days... That would be Feb 26th they should have been done validating !!!! Today is Mar 17th.... That means they have had 19 days for a prompt refund plus the time for you to get this complaint... And all they had to do was credit it back to my credit card... Which takes about 5 minutes.... Now I have called there Customer Service number numerous times and emailed them two or three times also... Here is there STANDARD answer no matter how many times you call or write: " We are running behind on refunds at this time. I have forwarded the information to the manager of the refund department. (Who by the way does not have a phone number) At this point we ae to wait for a response from him. When I receive information from him I will be in contact with you." That is there standard answer everytime verbally or in writing....Desired Settlement: I want my monies refunded and for them to be held accontable OR for you to tell ME how to hold THEM accountale !!! If I cannot get my money due me which means there NOT holding up to there written guarentee then by gosh there ought to be a law somewhere to take THEM DOWN !!! Some organzation some licensing organization that can shut there doors forever.... There has to be... Just let me know who and how

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. It obviously would have been nice if the business would have followed it's advertised written guarantee and refunded the money IAW such and I had not been told numerous times by there customer service rep that they were running behind on refunds and the director of the refund department did not have a telephone number. It's amazing what a threat of a complaint to the Revdex.com by a Retired Military Veteran and any other Legal Action can do since this complaint resolved my issue in just one day !! Regards,[redacted]

Review: I placed an ad on my local [redacted] to sell a vehicle private party; I ONLY posted this ad on [redacted], no other venue. At the bottom there is something that you select that says it is NOT okay to contact someone with 3rd party or commercial interest. I don't care what excuses they've provided on other complaints, I can foster a screenshot as evidence that it indeed shows at the bottom of the ad on [redacted] stating "NOT ok to contact....." They did this anyway, although I have ALSO been listed on the National Do-Not-Call Registry since 2008. Regardless, [redacted] continued calling me, and leaving messages (so again, if whomever tries to play the little game of... "oh that number isn't the same as what we called," or, "We have no records of calling that number," I have the PROOF to demonstrate otherwise. After being continually harassed with multiple phone calls from restricted, blocked, or (000) 000-0000, I decided to call the number provided on my voicemail- ###-###-####, to take care of it once and for all- on Wednesday, June 24th, 2015 at 1:02 PM PST, a mere two minutes after being called, AGAIN. After briefly peaking with [redacted], I asked to be transferred to management and he said "no problem” and transferred me to another employee ([redacted]) who I specifically asked if she was a member of management- NOPE. I’m sure they were banking on me trusting their word which is exactly why I asked. She talked over me, and was extremely rude while refusing to put me through to a manger stating, "A manager hasn't taken a phone call in ten years.” No legitimate business would have each and every employee refusing to allow me to speak with management. I had to call back AGAIN because I was hung up on, this time speaking with [redacted] who "assured me" that “...this time, this time..." I would be removed from THEIR specific list. She also refused to allow me to speak with management after being asked several times and was combative and inconsiderate. I should NEVER have been contacted to begin with, and my wishes certainly should’ve been respected when they were directly informed- there is NO excuse. I have the phone bill from my carrier to show the calls, the recorded voicemails from [redacted] to illustrate the AMOUNT of calls (harassment!!!!), and proof of the amount of times I had to call in. I have filed reports with the internet crime division, FCC, Federal Trade Commission, my local Police, and now I am adding a Revdex.com complaint as well. There is no wiggling out of this. They operate unethically, performing illegal actions, and lack respect for consumers and the public. Something needs to be done. I tried to tell their several representatives that they may want to get management for me because I was considering a lawsuit. Apparently their managers don’t need to know this or don’t care about the legal ramifications for their actions. The sad part is that if they had even shown a shred of respect, understanding, concern, empathy or validation, it may not have gotten here. If you do a google search, in .02 seconds there are hundreds (probably thousands) of people reporting dissatisfaction with this crooked "business."Desired Settlement: 1. Go over your business model immediately, and make the needed changes so that you operate professionally, and ethically.

2. Coach your service representatives about how to handle customer complaints.

3. DO NOT contact those who do not wish to be contacted especially when asked- that's a crime and it's called harassment.

4. Make management available.

5. Make yourself knowledgeable in business law.

6. Remain in cooperation with said laws.
