Review: I paid $189.00 for a service that had a money-back guarantee to sell my vehicle but did not receive a single call from the alleged listing. When I called about the guarantee, I was told the only way to get my money back was to have sold the vehicle on my own within 45 days and provide proof of sale. This so called "service" is a ripoff that victimizes people with misleading advertising and ambiguous rules. I'm just adding my voice to the masses I have since discovered who are dissatisfied with this alleged "service". Thanks.Desired Settlement: The business has the responsibility to provide the service they claim to provide, i.e. "guaranteed to sell your vehicle within 45 days or your money back" which was the message left on my answering machine.

Review: On 04/10/2013, Auto Marketing Systems was to help sell our 1965 Corvette car,at a cost of $249.00 refundable except for a $29.00 non-refundable service fee, 90 day money back guarantee. At the end of the 90 days Auto Marketing Systems had not provided us with a buyer, only 2 calls and the two men giving different names sounded like the same person, so we filled out all the paper work, had it notarized and mailed it to them on 07/11/2013. We were supposed to allow 8 to 10 weeks for a refund. We have called 3 separate times and are getting the same run around each time. The excuses range from change in management to someone dropped the ball. They owe us $220.00.Desired Settlement: Auto Marketing Systems said they would put it back on our Discover card we used but at this point I'm not sure we trust them to do that. We want the $220.00 refunded to us the best way possible.

Review: I was told this advertising service would lead to more potential inquiries. Since the start of the service I have not had one single inquiry. I feel they wasted my time and money promising a service that is not meaningful. It would be considerate if they could provide updates on my supposedly publicly advertised vehicle.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my 200.00 dollars refunded to my credit card. Or provide specific details on how they attract potential buyers and the process they go about advertising customer's vehicles.

Response:

I recently filed a complaint against Auto Marketing Systems on 9/27/2013 regarding a defunct business service. They responded to my formal complaint made on 10/1/2013 to refund my request of $220.00. It has been over three weeks since their response and I have yet to receive a refund, which they indicated would take only 3-5 business days. I am not sure what the issue is with the refund.

Refund my credit account in the amount of $220.00

Review: This company advertised to me that they can sell my trailer. They promised me that my trailer can be sold through them as long as I pay them $250. After 90 days if my vehicle doesn't get sold then they would reimburse me $230.0. So.. I waited 90 days and got not 1 phone call or inquiry about my vehicle. So, therefore, I had contacted Auto Marketing Systems about my refund and went through their process to get the refund including having a notary public notarize the reimbursement form ( have the receipt). Auto Marketing Systems told me to wait 30 days for a check. So... I've waited 60 days for a check and nothing happened. Whenever I try and contact them, they don't answer and it always goes to a voice mail. They do not return phone calls. This company is a scam!Desired Settlement: $230.0 (what they had advertised) or the $250.0 complete transaction.

Business

Response:

Mr. [redacted] has already obtained his money via a charge back through his banking institution. There is no refund for Mr. [redacted] to recover. The charge back was processed back to his credit card ending with [redacted] on 10/25/2013. AMS will not be processing a refund at this time. Sincerely, [redacted] Customer Service Manager- Auto Marketing Systems

Review: I purchased a contract ($249) to sell my vehicle with Auto Marketing Systems. My customer Auto Marketing Systems ID number is [redacted]. The contract enrollment date was March 20, 2013 and the expiration date was June 18, 2013. My vehicle did not sell within the 90-day contract period. I submitted the required paperwork in the required manner within 10 business days. An Auto Marketing Systems representative confirmed that they received my refund request on July 1, 2013 and would process the refund after 30 days. Today (Aug 19, 2013) is now FIFTY days since Auto Marketing Systems received my refund request, and Auto Marketing Systems still has not process my refund of $220.Desired Settlement: I want $220 credited to my credit card account as Auto Marketing Systems promised they would.

Review: "Auto Marketing Systems" advertises that you can pay a fee of $250 and that they will sell your vehicle in 90 days guaranteed or you can get your money back within 30 days. It has now been over 60 days since they recieved my refund request letter and I have yet to recieve any refund at all. I have called twice a week for 8 weeks now and they continue to tell me that "it will be processed this week" and it never happens. I continue to call and ask for a supervisor or someone else that can help me and they keep saying there is nothing they can do I just have to keep waiting.Desired Settlement: I would like to be promtly refunded for the money that is owed to me per their contract. I would also like them to either streamline their refund process to meet their advertised 30 day turn-around or to not make that advertised commitment in the future.

Review: I was contacted by this company Automarketing System back in March 2013 regarding the selling of my auto. I believe they got my phone number from the local newspaper, the [redacted] in which I had placed an add back in the first week of March. The person who I spoke with tells me, they could sell my vehicle if I list with them it would be sold in less than two weeks the cost was $249.00 and if it didn't sell after 90 days they would refund me $220.00,the conditions was to notify them by mail with a notarized letter after the 90 days. The letter was sent on May,13/2013. To this date I have not received my refund. I contacted them several times by, phone and via e-mail and still no response. This is all the details I have.Respectfully.[redacted]Desired Settlement: I just want my refund of $220.00 which is do to me. Thankyou

Review: Once driven contacted me to sell my car that I had listed on Craigs list. Only #200 and they had people "STANDING IN LINE " for a car like that and it will be a slam dunk.I never heard another peep out of them ----I tried to contact them time and time again----merely wanting a progress report I guess just to justify to me that they were doing SOMETHING to earn the $200.......not a peep since October 2015. This company is disgraceful. I have never complained about a company of ANY kind before but this outfit is a scam.Every time I call they PROMISE to get back with me right away------not a single call back. They should not be aloud to be in business in this country. I have read very similar experiences from other customers who have been scammed........how can these shameful clowns stay in business ????? How could anybody work for such low lifes ????? [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like to have the company give an accounting of what they did to sell my car. NO ONE with the company can give a single example of what they have done. How can a company stay in business with zero credibility.

Regards,

[redacted] the card # they requested is [redacted]------if that is not it they need to e-mail me----thank you

I have was contacted from a post saying "do not contact me to help sell" they then called the day it was posted. I asked to be put on the do not call list. They called back. I repeatedly asked to not be contacted 4 times. They call on a unknown number so I cannot block them.

Once driven is joke and a legal con. They make promises without giving results. My listing has been "posted" for over 2 months with no response from customers or once driven. When accused of not keeping my account updated and providing customers they only respond they are sorry and will check into it. They say my only option to lower my selling price. Do not pay these people ur money. You will never see it or results. I have requested a refund but they will not refund my money. When they first called they told me that if there was no results in 45 days I would receive a refund. Upon requesting one they told me I wouldn't get one unless I sold my car myself. They lie and then deny it.

Review: I was called by oncedriven representative, who suggested to use their services to advertise car I was selling on line.

I advertised the car via [redacted].

They confirmed that there are customers looking for this type of car and they guarantee to sell the vehicle within 45 days, otherwise full refund. Vehicle will be advertised through social media and car selling websites. After 3 days of their services I didn't get a single response, although car web page on oncedriven showed 163 visitors.

I checked [redacted] page for the car and found only single negative response. On [redacted] - 0 visitors. I srongly believe that these 163 visitors is a spam or false information, artificially inflated by oncedriven to falsely represent their activity.

I haven't received a single counter offer or any other signs of interest. I paid $189 for some non-existing service. It is completely unsatisfactory. Looks like pure scam. Just publishing car photos on **, [redacted] and [redacted] - sites completely irrelevant to car buyers. Whoever reads this - avoid their service.

Regards,

Review: Company apparently calls everyone who post on [redacted] trying to solicit a fee for them to sell their item. [redacted] has a specific box that tells them not to do this and this company does it any way. On top of that their calls come out with a blocked number - clear sign of less than ethical activity to me. They have left me messages no less than 3 times in the past 2 weeks regarding my current ad.Desired Settlement: This company needs to be fined for calling people who specifically mark their add to not be contacted with offers to help sell. My instincts tell me that they are completely fraudulent even for the people who enroll their services.

Business

Response:

The phone number associated with Mr. [redacted] complaint has been added to the Once Driven Do-Not-Call database, and will not be contacted again. On behalf of Once Driven, we apologize for any inconvenience to Mr. [redacted].Sincerely,[redacted]Quality Assurance Manager

Review: This business scammed my cell phone number from some place on the internet, and call me wanting me to list a vehicle with them for sale for a fee of 189.00. I have no vehicle for sale, never have had and I am quite certain this is a scam and needs to be looked into. I would really like it if they quit calling me, but I bet they have scammed a lot of people out of money to date.Desired Settlement: wish they would quit calling, BUT I really wish they would be put out of business because I'm quite certain this is not a legitimate business.

Review: I posted an ad on [redacted] with the no solicitation checked and a guy from once driven keeps calling me to offer to sell my vehicle for me. He has called 3 times in the last week with an unknown number so I don't answer. The ad has since been deleted.Desired Settlement: I would like for this company to stop harassing people especially since they have not asked for their services. This is not a business that I would want to do business with, especially since they ignore the requests or the people they are trying to help.

Review: I contracted with Auto Marketing Systems to list an automobile in order to sell it. The agreement was for them to sell it in 90 days after which if not sold I could get a refund and cancel the listing. The initial cost was $249.00 and I was due $220.00 when canceled. I followed their terms and canceled in July and have been told for the last 5 months my credit card acct. would be credited the $220.00 and have yet to see it, while they fully agreed by phone that I would receive my credit each time.Desired Settlement: I would like my $220.00 either by check or credit card refund and an apology for having to keep after them.

Regards,

Review: I had a car for sale and had posted an ad in this regard on craigslist. After viewing it, I was contacted by a sales associate from this company saying the price for the car was very reasonable and that "they already have customers looking for a very similar car". I was encouraged to sign up after a long sweet talk from him, for a fee of US$249, which was effective only if I signed up over the phone. Otherwise the price was much higher like US$349 or something. The fact that they would refund (US$249-US$29 for processing cost) in case of inability to sell the car after 90 days, gave me the confidence to sign up and I did. But 50 days passed and I did not receive even a SINGLE CALL from them or any buyer. So I called to check back, most of which went to voicemail. Finally I was answered by one of the most irresponsible associates, who checked (supposedly) my post and saw many queries. When asked why the supposed buyers did not contact me, I received a blunt "I dont know". I asked what sort of reply was that and if they are not proactively reaching out to those prospective buyers, she said "No sir we do not do that". Now I was thoroughly taken aback, and continued to question their passive method and insisted that I had really imagined they would actively follow up queries and make sure word about my car reaches. To which I once again received a "if you have feedback, please feel free to write o our website. And the call was over abruptly shortly later. Now having paid US$249, I personally think that I was completely reasonable to have imagined they would actively sell my car. If they took US$249 just to post an ad on their website (which half the people don't know about, and the remaining half know it for the wrong reasons), then they have definitely taken me for an it. Its no different from a free post on craigslist, which btw is wat finally helped me sell the car. I personally think, their modus operandi is to charge people 249 dollars. If unsold on the 90th day, then a refund can be applied BUT within 14 days of expiry date (90th day). Now half the people signing up don't notice this clause and they default and end up not applying for refund. I belong to this category. If someone does want to apply for refund within 14 days, their form requires it to be notarized, which I think is unnecessary and just a stint to further discourage customers to apply for refund. Even beyond if they successfully submit the form, I am not sure if they refund as I am reading a million complaints of "no refund" everywhere on the internet. Even if the refund gets processed in the rarest case, then remember, AMS gets to with hold US$29. Now I think this is the minimum amount they count on with every customer signing up. They must have thought, "we dont need to do anything actively, post ad and keep quite, and at the end of the day we get AT LEAST US$29 for every customer. BRILLIANT?? No AMS, its called a SCAM!!Desired Settlement: First of all, I think this whole business is a scam. So an audit needs to be performed and warning given to ensure better methods. If found non compliant, then strict action to be taken resulting in refund of money for every case which resembles the account of my experience. Either way I am fed up of facing such scam lords, so make me and a million others unassuming customers happy and satisfied.

Review: Paid this company to provide a service of assissting me to sell a vehicle with a gauranteed refund agreement of price less $29* service fee. They have a specific way to request the refund (which I complied in every way). I have given them a sufficient amount of time and even have called them multiple times requesting information regarding refund, all they give me is excuses as to why the refund has not been completed. It has been over 9 weeks since the paperwork for refund was submitted and they still keep delaying.Desired Settlement: Full refund of $220 honoring the agreement that was made.

Review: I was suppose to get a money back guarantee if my camper didn't sell not only did it not sell but got no calls from this site. funny cause I got 2-3 calls every day from other sites until it sold . but sent my paper work in for a refund and followed all instructions to the t . and its been 7 weeks and no refund 1st they failed to tell me it will take 4-6 weeks to get my refund then called back on 4th week they said it hasn't been six weeks .then call back on 7th week and they told me don't know what's going on that she will contact the refund center and call me back but she said I couldn't call cause she didn't have there #. it only took 10 minutes for them to get my money and fill like they didn't serve me at all but been waiting 7 weeks for my refund .Desired Settlement: I want the money that was promised to me . and would like for someone to checked into this company . if what they are doing is legal then its wrong cause all it is , is a legal scam

Review: On January 29, 2013, I was contacted by Auto Marketing Systems and paid them to help sell my vehicle. I paid a $249 refundable fee (minus a $29) processing fee for them to list my vehicle on their site because they had "buyers". They contacted me because they saw my ad on AutoTrader. I sold my vehicle after the 90 day period without their assistance and contacted them for my refund. They told me I had to wait 90 days and send in a notarized form to process the refund. I was told this from the beginning. I submitted my notarized form on April 30, 2013 and was told I would receive my refund in 30 business days. It is now July 8, 2013 and I have not received my refund of $220. I have contacted them multiple times and all they can do is "contact their refund request manager" via email. I cannot talk to them, there is no way I can email them, I cannot reach them in any way. I would like my $220 back.Desired Settlement: I would like my $220 back as promised by AMS.
