Review: I entered a 2005 Cadillac Escalade onto the AMS Vehicle sales website for the price of $249.00. They called me stating they had several customers interested in my style vehicle and would sell it within 90 days or I would receive my money back minus a $25.00 processing fee which I agreed to. According to their paperwork the refund should have been submitted and process within 6-8 weeks. I paid them over the phone by credit card and entered my listing. I never received one phone call during the 60 days listed. I sold the vehicle on craigslist and sent in the form for the refund in mid August. It is now January 13, 2014 and I still have not been refunded. Every time I call I get the same girl and she explains she has sent it over for processing but nothing has happened yet due to the "holidays". After reading several complaints of this scam I have decided to tell my story in hope to get what I was told and signed up for.

Mr. [redacted],

We received the refund request for your listing on August 23, 2013. Your request has been verified and you will be refunded. If you paid by credit card, your card will be credited. Likewise, if you paid by check, you will be receiving a check. Please allow at least 6-8 weeks for your refund to be processed. If you have any questions or problems, please call ###-###-#### and choose Option 2 for Customer Service.

Review: I originally entered into contract with AMS in October 2012. I signed the $249 agreement with the option of a refund minus the $29 nonrefundable portion of their service. I completed all the requirement to qualify for my refund which processed in January of 2013. I still have not received it. I have called them every couple of months to check in. I informed them last time that I would report them to the Revdex.com if this did not go through yet again. This last attempt was last month (January 2014).Desired Settlement: I would like the amount I am owed paid by check and mailed to my new address (listed address is one AMS should have on file. I now live in New York) ASAP. I moved. Which is why I was selling my car in the first place. Thank you very much for your help.

Response:

AMS apologizes for the lengthy delay of Ms. [redacted] refund. The full refund of $249 will be processed back to Ms. [redacted] original method of payment. Merchant regulation requires us to attempt to refund the original method of payment unless the card account has been closed. A refund check cannot be issued at this time. The refund of $249 will be back to Ms. [redacted] credit card account within 3-5 business days.

Review: This company is completely unethical. OnceDriven.com (a Longwood Industries, Inc company) found an advertisement that I had placed on Craig's List and called me on 2-3 occasions. I decided to give the service a try because I was told by the sales representative that my "$189 would be refunded in full if after 45 days [I] don't sell the vehicle through one of the leads that OnceDriven.com sends [me]." Fair enough; I had nothing to lose. I went along with it. However, I never received a single potential customer from OnceDriven.com's services. Noticing I was never refunded the money, I called OnceDriven for my refund. I was told, "No, you have 45 days to cancel. Since that time has passed already, we can't refund your money." Long story short, I was told to file a formal complaint over the website. The website had problems so I called back. The same lady ([redacted]) answered the phone every time, refused to let me speak with a manager, referred me back to the website, and so on. I sent an email threatening to report the company to the Revdex.com. I then received an email stating that I was going to be issued a refund within 3 business days. Having read other complaints of having been charged a "$29 processing fee" (which was never disclosed when the initial saleslady convinced me to try the service), I called OnceDriven to verify the total of my refund. She said "$160" (minus the $29, of course). I have not yet received the promised $160. I demand the $189 in full.Desired Settlement: $189 in full. No $29 processing fee.

Response:

Mr. [redacted] makes several complaints. We will address each one here. 1) He states that he was told “$189 would be refunded in full if after 45 days [he] didn't sell the vehicle through one of the leads that OnceDriven.com sent [him].” Not true. The sales recording reveals that he was told that he must request the $160 refund within 45 days if he sold to the vehicle to a buyer not provided by OnceDriven. Mr. [redacted] first contacted OnceDriven approximately 75 days after he purchased the service. 2) Mr. [redacted] states he was never told about the filing fee. Not true. The sales recording reveals that he was specifically told about the $29 processing fee and he verbally agreed to the terms. 3) Mr. [redacted] states that he never received a single potential buyer from OnceDriven. Our records reveal that six (6) potential buyer leads were emailed to him. Did he not receive them? In good faith, we processed Mr. [redacted]’s full refund of $189 (which includes the processing fee) on December 3, 2013. Please allow 3-5 business days for the credit to appear on his statement. Sincerely, [redacted]- Customer Service Manager

Response:

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I do accept that OnceDriven.com (owned by Longwood Industries, Inc) is returning the money that they have obtained by unethical business practices. They can claim that they advised me in advance whatever they want. But they will never produce a beginning-to-end recording of the whole conversation because their claims are lies. Furthermore, I know for a fact that OnceDriven.com has not sent me any potential customer leads because they have my email address correct on file! I've communicated with them via email. They never sent me a single one of the 6 leads that they claim they sent. Who is the consumer going to believe? OnceDriven.com (under Longwood Industries, Inc) currently has 630 complaints against it (not including mine) on the Revdex.com website. Every complaint that I read were for the same reason! This "company" solicits innocent victims from Craig's List, obtains money from innocent victims under false pretenses, refuses to give the money back, gets threatened by the small minority of victims that know how to use Revdex.com as an effective medium of dispute handling, then finally returns the money. Most customers - myself not included - lose the $29 processing fee that gets magically created when the customer/victim demands the money back and files a Revdex.com complaint. Longwood Industries, Inc (including OnceDriven.com and its subsidiaries) IS A SCAM!!!!Let me guess; OnceDriven.com staff is now going to create some false accusation against me and try to get out of paying. I do accept the conclusion of this case - provided my $189 is returned to me in full. I have so far received the $160 but still have not received the $29 processing fee. When I receive it, provided I do not encounter any more nonsense from OnceDriven.com (or Longwood Industries, Inc) I will consider this matter closed.Thank you Revdex.com for your assistance in this matter. -[redacted]

Review: I was contacted to place my ad to sell my fifth wheel with their company. Obviously they saw it being advertised on other websites. I felt it an advantage because they sold their services with being able to match up buyers with sellers. Later conversations with them revealed that they work with brokers nationwide and purchase leads. My time of 45 days is almost up and there has only been 389 views on their website but worse, only 7 contacts. They will not share who it is from - could be the brokers but I doubt any real customers. I think the selling of their services was misleading and even fraudulent.Desired Settlement: When you buy something you expect to get something in return. I don't even know if there have been 7 contacts in almost 45 days because that information is confidential. I believe the company misrepresented themselves and should be held to a higher standard of conduct. I will be contacting my credit card company of my actions against this company.

Review: #1. The company contacts [redacted] sellers when they clearly stated that they do not want to be contacted. I assume it is illegal in VA to operate a business that does this.

This is a direct email from OnceDriven.coms' [redacted]

"And yes, we contact sellers with [redacted] listings, if we are trying to locate that type of vehicle for one of our clients."

#2. The company states they have buyers for your vehicle when in fact they do not

#3. I take part responsibility in this matter as I believed the person from OnceDriven.comDesired Settlement: Full refund and change to their business practices of contacting [redacted] sellers that clearly state that they do not want to be contacted for solicitation reasons. Response:

Thank you for forwarding Mr. [redacted]’s concerns. We will address each one in the order he raised them. Mr. [redacted], a former customer of ours as of this month, is now complaining about his online listing being contacted back in December 2014. He states that we ignored language from his [redacted] ad that asked that he not be contacted and that he assumes this is an illegal practice. Please let Mr. [redacted] know that no laws or website terms were violated as his [redacted] ad was available on other sites and that the language he is referencing is not part of his ad when we encounter it on those other sites. He states that we had no potential buyers for his vehicle. To the contrary, we forwarded contact information for four (4) interested buyers to him and his ad was viewed almost 1100 times. We also utilized a paid service to boost his ad on social media. He states that his number is on the National Do Not Call Registry (NDNCR). As OnceDriven is a DBA for a nonprofit, tax exempt organization, it is permitted to contact numbers on the NDNCR.In good faith, as we did not meet Mr. [redacted]’s expectations, we will process his $189 refund request. Please allow 3-5 business days for the credit to appear on his statement.Thank you for giving us an opportunity to respond.

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The Revdex.com can close this case. Apologies are lame when this business has a long standing history of calling Craig's List numbers that specifically state DO NOT Solicit. I will forward my information to Federal offices that may be able to fine this company for egregious solicitation. The fines are stiff so maybe that would solve this case.

Review: I am advising of a transaction between the subject company and myself which was initiated on April 13, 2013. I paid the company $249.00 to advertise my motorcycle with the guarantee of a refund of the entire fee, less a handling charge of $29.00 if they did not sell the bike within 90 days. Not only did they not sell it but not a single referral was sent to me. I eventually sold the bike on my own. I requested my refund and sent the proper notarized paperwork to the company as required for the refund to be activated. I was assured he money would be credited onto my Visa account after 6 weeks.

I have spoken to the customer service people at least 10 times, during which they replaced personnel, had to re-check the status of the refund, and all sorts of assurances the refund was coming. This is now closing in on 1 year since I started this ordeal and find I am no closer to a resolution than 6 months ago. This is beginning to look like an on-line scam, even though they show an ' Online Business Bureau trusted Site' stamp on their correspondence.

They also show an address to send photos of your advertised item if not using the internet. This address is Auto Marketing Systems, [redacted]

I have all the info. pertaining to their marketing plan and agreement for cancellation of the agreement and/or refund conditions. I have met all conditions on my part, now just looking to get this nonsense on their part resolved and get my $ refunded. My customer ID# is [redacted]

Please advise what action I can take if necessary, should you not get a response from this company. Is there a Consumer Protection department connected to the Virginia government that would look into this situation? I hope this is not happening only because I do not reside in the U.S.A.

Yours truly,

Review: In June of 2012, I was contacted by Auto Marketing Systems about a car that I had listed for sale on another website. With a money back guarantee, I decided to list the car with this company. If the vehicle did not sell within 90 days, and I complied with their requirements for cancellation, I would be refunded $220 of the $249 that I paid to list the car. On June 22, 2012, I listed the car. It did, in fact, not sell, and I then cancelled the listing on 9/24/12 and sent the required information (including the notarized cancellation form) via certified mail. I called them in October to inquire about the refund, and was told that it was being processed. I called several more times within the next 2-3 months and was given the same "it is being processed" line every time. I had all but given up on the matter until this June, when I again called about the refund. I might add that by this time, the company had changed its phone number, however a quick search online revealed a new number. I was told that the company was behind in processing refunds, but it would be sent out within 2-3 weeks and I should call back in 1 month if I had not recieved it. When I called back, there was simply no answer. I delved into research and found that AMS is part of Longwood industries. I tried to contact Renee Fisher, who seems to be the owner of Longwood, and the person who answered the phone offered to take a message because Renee was on the other line. I said that I would wait on hold. After several more prompts for me to leave a message (and my refusal), I was told that Renee was busy and I was hung up on. Several more phone calls yeilded the same results. I was at a loss for what to do until a friend suggested that I file a report with the Revdex.com. Upon reading numerous reports, I realized that the only way to get your refund is to file a complaint with the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I wish to have my credit card refunded the $229 that I was promised if I complied with the list of cancellation requirements. I did indeed comply, therefore I expect a refund. Immediately.

Review: I was contacted by AMS after listing my car for sale on a different service. They offered me a money back guarantee to list on their service. I paid $250 and if I did not sell my car on their service I would receive a refund (less $29.00 processing fee). I sold my car privately and sent AMS a notarized letter of the transaction in order to receive my refund. They confirmed they received the letter 5/14. I called 2 weeks later regarding my refund. They said I should have it any day. I called again the next week - and she said it takes 10 days to process and I should have it in a week or two. Then in June I called and they said they were 2-3 weeks behind on processing but I should have it and they would let a manager know so my refund would be prioritized. When I called in July 2 months after they received my letter and almost 3 months after I had sold my car they said they were 10-12 weeks behind on paperwork and to keep waiting. I have done some research and there are a lot of complaints this is a total scam and people never get their refunds. I am a young professional and the move was expensive enough - I never would have signed up for this service if they hadn't falsely advertised the "Money back guarantee". I feel very taken advantage of as a consumer that they think they can just take my money on false claims then string me along.Desired Settlement: I would like my money refunded immediately as they indicated it would be. Not only did I pay them to do absolutely nothing, I received no calls or interest in my car from their service - but I also went through the trouble of getting a notary to send them an official transaction detail.

Review: OnceDriven claimed that their service already has buyers or clients that are ready to purchase your/my boat/car/whatever. Within 49 days - I did not get contacted by one single person and sold the 'vehicle' on my own. Their claim was not accurate or truthful. They need to adjust the amount of lying they are willing to do in order to solicit business. No need to be scammers. Notice all of the negatives here and on [redacted]. (look under OnceDriven in [redacted].

I just hope they take some advice from a few of these complaints - which I can see some of the people just simply didn't follow OnceDriven's simple rules and therefor lost out - but the rest of us who don't get any contact or update or anything after giving them $200 and the required photos..... after being told they have a list of customers waiting to buy my 'thing' is just down right devious. Why do business that way and go home to your kids and tell them you are a good person. Get honest and get right.

Quit being the problem with this country and start being the solution.

Recommendation. Upgrade your service and call the people who haven't gotten any attention from you in the first 20 days so they at least feel like you didn't just run off with their money.... when actually, according to the sales claims, they should get a call with a perspective buyer within 72 hours. I knew I was scammed after 4 days.Desired Settlement: Would rather OnceDriven to do better business for future people than have my money back, but since I did all the back breaking work myself to sell my boat (which was because I had to find all my own buyers and keep moving my boat out of storage and back in) - it would be good to be refunded (yeah right).

Is Mr. [redacted] boat still available?Once a response to this inquiry is made, Once Driven will respond accordingly.OnceDriven was notified on 1/15 that the boat was sold. The boat was actually transferred to the new owner and cash settled on 1/9/16. I can provide bill of sale if needed. OnceDriven did not respond to the notification until 1/18. Understood at it crossed a weekend.None of this is the point. Based on OnceDiven's response, I can tell that they will not try to satisfy my request by "doing better business". Reminder: I was told directly by the sales associate that "OnceDriven already has buyers/clients waiting to buy my boat otherwise it would have been a waste of time for them to contact me." As such and since I never received one contact, buyer, client or anything from OnceDriven, that would clearly make their claim false. Therefore, false advertisement. I request that their sales associate be directed to not embellish in order to make sales. Assuming these phone calls are recorded, you could go back and replay the statements. And since I was falsely 'driven' by OnceDriven, I requested a 50% reimbursement. Half my fault agreed. Sincerely,

I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.Refunding half of my payment was a very respectable customer service move on OnceDriven's part. I think this shows that they are a reliable and sensible company that may only have a few glitches. There is no perfect company on earth. My situation was for a boat and not for a car, which has a much different market and timing to market. Maybe one day, the rules of engagement for boat sales could be different from car sales. Selling boats in the winter takes much longer. Cars don't have this seasonal effect as much.

Review: First, I am not sure I have the right location of Once Driven. It looks like they have many locations. I was contacted over the telephone.

I was contacted by Once Driven (several times) suggesting that I list my truck with them to sell because they (had buyers) looking for this particular vehicle. After listening to their salesman, I told them they could list my truck. The cost was to be $189.00 for the ad. Again, they said they had buyers specifically looking for this vehicle. I told them what I was asking for the vehicle, based on what I had found out through Kelly Blue Book (I was asking $9,900.00). They told me they didn't use Kelly Blue Book very much that NADA was more reliable. They said my vehicle was worth more than I was asking and said that if I was satisfied with the price of $9,900.00 that it should sell immediately. Based on this I told them I would list my vehicle with them. After having the vehicle listed with them for several days and not getting even one call on the vehicle, I called their customer service line and talked to my personal customer service representative. She told me I had the vehicle way over priced and that I needed to drop the price down to under $8,100.00 if I wanted it to sell. I told her that I priced it based on what the sales person told me and did not understand why, if they had people looking for this particular vehicle, and it was priced at what they told me I needed to price it, why haven't I even received one phone call and not just that, but now, they were telling me I need to lower the price at least $2,000.00 if I want to sell it. I tried to get her to answer some questions I had about (Once Driven) but she wouldn't. I have since found out they look for ads posted on [redacted], a free service then try to get you to pay for their service. I feel this is false advertising and I had specifically said on [redacted] that people could not contact me about offers or services.

I feel they should refund my monies now for false advertising. I will be contacting my bank to let them know of the problem and see if they will reverse the charges.

Respectfully;

Mr. [redacted] clearly is not satisfied with his experience with Once Driven, and I have processed a refund of his purchase price back to his original method of payment today.Mr. [redacted] will need to allow 3-5 business days for the refund to appear back to his original method of payment. On behalf of Once Driven, we would like to thank Mr. [redacted] for the opportunity to respond.Sincerely,[redacted]Customer Service Manager

Review: With a cost of $ 189.00 it was indicated that OnceDrive would offer my 2012 Honda Civic to interested consumers. They 1.) have not sent any interest

buyers to me although their email indicate such, 2.) do not answer my email complaints with anything but a generic email stating that their customer

service department will look into it within 24 hours and then email me the same information the next day. I have not receive a valid buyer interest.Desired Settlement: I would like to obtain a refund based upon their real lack of service provided (although they make it "look" like they are sending me potential customers to

buy my vehicle). They actually send me the email addressed of what they referred to as interested customers but the "real" interested person never contacts me.

I believe that they are merely sending me email address they are not interested in purchasing my vehicle

Response:

According to our records, Mr. [redacted]’s ad was activated on

January 5, 2015 and he filed this complaint on January 16, 2015 (still within

the 45-day refund window). During this short window of time, his ad was

viewed over 250 times online, six (6) interested buyer contacts were forwarded

to him, and his ad was boosted on [redacted] (a paid service). As we did

not meet Mr. [redacted]’s expectations during this time period, we will process

his $160 refund ($189 - $29 processing fee agreed to at the time of purchase).

Please allow 3-5 business days for the credit to appear on his statement.

Thank you for bringing this complaint to our attention and giving

us an opportunity to respond.Sincerely,[redacted]Customer Service Manager

Review: On or about March 24 2014 I was called by a woman named [redacted] who said she was with Craigslist. She was calling about an ad I had posted on Craigslist about my Honda Civic. She said she was aware that my ad was posted for a while and now they were offering a new service. Craigslist now offers customers who haven't been successful a new option of listing on a site called Oncedriven that offers financing and transport to any place in the country. That they match buyers with those specific needs with sellers like me. They were so certain that this would work for me that they would refund my $ 189. (-$29.) if they didn't sell it in 45 days. I thought this a reputable company with a great offer so I bought this service.

I first realized something was wrong when I received their invoice in the mail. It made no mention of Craigslist and their guarantee had changed to IF I sell it first. I called them and they told me that these were misunderstandings but that they already had 3 matches for my vehicle and even had their email addresses if I wanted to contact them. A month went by, I had taken Oncedriven's advice and reduced my price several times and still I had no calls on my car. I called again and was told I needed to again drop the price, which I did. I began to reach out to the several perspective buyers email addresses that had been forwarded by Oncedriven, to ask them if they were still interested in my car. All I received back were failure notices, I then realized these email addresses weren't real. .It was then that I finally realized that I'd been scammed..They aren't part of Craigslist or affiliated in any way; they don't offer financing or car transport; they don't offer the guarantee they claimed and their perspective buyers don't really exist...I really don't know what about this company is real except they are deceitful fraudsDesired Settlement: I hope to get my money back via a credit of $189. to my credit card and hopefully expose this fraud so that no one else gets scammed.

Response:

On behalf of Once Driven, I have processed Mr. [redacted]'s request for a refund. After reviewing his account, it appears that Mr. [redacted]'s email address was not properly placed on to his account when he purchased his account on 3/24/2014. As a result of this error, Mr. [redacted] did not receive the exposure he should have initially. On 4/4/2014 we corrected the mistake and restarted his program. Unfortunately the results Mr. [redacted] expected weren't realized after this mistake had been made.

The refund requested of $189 has been processed today. Mr. [redacted] will need to allow 3-5 business days for the refund to appear back to his credit card account ending with [redacted].

Sincerely,

Customer Service Manager

Regards,

Review: Oncedriven contacted me, to offer their services, they promised to sell my car in less than 45 days, they also assured me that they already had prospected buyers that would be contacting me in a matter of days. It was all lies, I have not heard about any costumers, nor Oncedriven has been in contact with me, I contacted them via e mail, to ask what was going on. I said yo them, that it seemed like they took my money and totally forgot about me and my desperation to sell my car.

I hope they do not do the same to all their customers , because that I would call it fraud !!

Thanks, Atte. [redacted]Desired Settlement: I do not care about getting or not getting my money back, I just don't want business like this one, that continues to take advantage of us, desperate sellers.

Review: Once Driven.com called three times regarding to provide a $189 service to help to sell my vehicle.

As I am rushing to sale it, so I paid $189 to use their service without checking on 3/9.

After I checked online, I found that this service is just a scam.

I called the same day to ask for refund and they promised to refund the money within 24-48 hours.

I checked with bank on 3/10 and there was no money back.

I called Once Driven on 3/11 to ask if they refund. They insisted that they refunded on 3/9.

2 days already passed and my bank advised there is no pending transaction or coming payment to my credit card!Desired Settlement: I wish to get full $189 back.

Hope Revdex.com can contact them and help to get money back.

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I called Once Driven on 3/16 and 3/18 regarding no refund received by my bank. I checked with my bank several times and no refund from Once Driven. When I called Once Driven if they know which bank they processed transfer, they answered that they did not know. The only thing they insisted that they refunded money on 3/9. They said that if I did not receive the payment, I need to provide my bank statement to them.As my bank asked me not to provide any other personal info to fraud company, I asked Once Driven if the email from bank can prove that I did not receive the refund.Once Driven said NO, they need my bank statement.Once Driven has no legal right to ask for my bank statement. Until now 4/19, I still do not receive any refund from Once Driven. If Once Driven still insists they refund the payment, please show the evidence to Revdex.com.

Response:

I am writing on behalf

of OnceDriven in response to the above-referenced complaint. We apologize for the delay in

responding to your initial complaint (may have been an issue with the mail).

Ms. [redacted] complains that she has not received her refund. The credit

card software report is showing that a full credit of $189.00 was processed on

March 9, 2015, the same day she purchased her ad. If Ms. [redacted] still claims

that she has not received it, we will need to speak with her bank and

coordinate with the merchant account provider to figure out where the error is

occurring.

Thank you for giving us an opportunity to respond.

Sincerely,

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

The proof you have to prove Once Driven refund the money is a Credit Card software instead of Bank. Where is Once Driven bank proof of transfer? Every company has their bank proof for transfer. Once Driven never provide any information about their bank. Why they do not talk about their bank?If they really refund the money, they definitely should have proof from their bank NOT a software.I have my bank statement to show I transfer the money to Once Driven. The same Once Driven definitely should have bank statement which shows the money transfer to my account. Why they insists that my bank has problems?Where is their bank transfer proof?Once Driven is definitely a fraud company as everything they said is proof from system or software. If Once Driven can show your bank proof of transfer, I will call my bank to talk with Once Driven's BANK.
