Do you want to know what kind of company CardPool is? They delete all negative Facebook posts, hide negative [redacted] reviews on Facebook and claim that all is great, they flat out lie about their turnaround times on their site, don't respond to support unless you berate them on Twitter (because they can just delete Facebook posts, they don't care about those)...it's simply not a well run operationI'm sure the people are great, but there is something rotten within the operations and branding org of this companyThe facts of my case are this: I sold $worth of gift cards to CardPool on 1/The email confirmation said I would have an Amazon gift card within business daydays passed and I reached out to the company on Facebook, simply asking what is going on, and they deleted my commentThis triggered meThe only way I was able to get a support rep to reach out to me was by spamming them on Twitter and making sure to include the CFPB in my postsFunny enough, I got an email shortly thereafter with an apology and a statement that I'll be reached out to "shortly"Needless to say, I'm not holding my breathBe VERY careful around this shady operation folks

The service buys and sells gift cards for a slight discountI agreed to sell them $in various gift cards (to be exact) in exchange for $in [redacted] e-gift certificateThe website says day turn around, and maybe slightly more during the holidaysI verified the amounts on my cards, and sold them accordingly on 1/6/to [redacted] I received an email notification verifying the transaction almost immediately, but after days, I still hadn't received my payment from themI attempted to message them and I emailed them with no responseI can't cancel the transaction, and when I checked the balance of the gift cards, they had been usedSpecifically a $Home Depot gift card now only has a $balanceI want my money back and to warn other potential victims to be aware of this scam as they are a fraud

Went into my business account with [redacted] Credit Union and noticed a charge in the amount of $from Cardpool which I have no idea what is and I have not purchased anything from this company nor did I authorizes this transactionMade several attempts to contact company with no answer or call backHad to cancel my Debit Card with Credit UnionThey are looking into this as well

I mailed Cardpool a [redacted] gift card for $on October 28th, and was told via their website my funds would be issued in day of receiving the cardThey agreed to send me a check for $They have not sent my check, and I can not get ahold of anybody via their phone number or emailIve left voicemails and sent emailI feel they may have stolen my valuable gift cardAccording to their website my card was received

I paid for $worth of cards and never received themYou cannot get in touch with anyone from customer serviceThey will hang up on youHad to file a claim with my bank to get money back

I purchased a Lowes gift card from this business. The value of the card was advertised at $200 in exchange for $191. The company delivered an email with the $200 gift card attached. Upon use the card was invalid and declined by Lowes. Attempts to replace to refund the amount were unsuccessful.

Purchased an instant online gift card from their site on 1/5/18, waited all day and did not receive notification, tried to contact the company through online chat, no one was available and only had automated chat that was not helpfulSent out an e-mail inquiring about the purchase did not get a response to my e-mailReceived e-mail on the 7th where a gift card number was enclosed but the number was not valid, sent out another e-mail on 1/7/and did not hear back from the company until 1/11/During this time, due to a concern of fraud, I filed a dispute with my credit card company for the chargesOn the 11th I requested a full refund due to the fact that the gift card was not valid and I had already made other arrangements with regard to purchasing the gift cardSurprisingly, they got back to me right away stating that they would not offer a refund

I ordered discounted gift cards from [redacted] for [redacted] ***I order to get the amount I ordered I needed to order transactionsI didn’t realize they would come in the form of electronic gift cards ranging in$to $They cards were all delivered to the electronic wallet in the app as expectedHowever, out of cards have $for the balanceThere was also a delay in the cards coming through so I called my credit card company to see if the charges went through and they hadn’t so I ordered more and then the other orders went through laterSo instead of getting about $80” in gift cards I am now getting $for charges on my credit card totaling $But of thaose cards a total of $is missing on a total of nine cardsI emailed and they said reply with confirmation number or email addresses which I did on June These were irk galley ordered June and I had emailed thenI have received no response since and have emailed multiple timesI also call

Like many I too sold a card to Cardpool thinking the A+'grade the Revdex.com gave them made them legitI choose to electronically enter the info with a [redacted] gift card return as they stated the usual pay out was a day, possibly two during the holiday seasonWell a week later and I'm still in review and no answer when I email them asking what the situation isIt's amazing that they'd get the backing of the Revdex.com with no customer serviceEven more of a joke is I'm still constantly getting emails asking them to refer them to friends

I sent 11 gift cards worth $550 to Cardpool company. On August 24, 2016, they said they can't process the cards and will send me back the cards. They mailed me back the cards without any insurance in the mail, just a regular certified mail. When I received the envelope at Post Office on September 6, 2016, the envelope has been open on one side of the envelope with 4 gift cards left worth $200. The Post Office denied the claim as the mail was not insured. I requested cardpool to file claim on their end and help me with the claim. However, the representative denied to help me through email. My order # is [redacted] .

The website stated that purchased giftcards would be available instantlyPurchased two cards, neither were available instantlyThe first took over hours and the second took around hoursThis business does not live up to their advertised services and their customer service is poorI would recommend using one of the other giftcard sites

I sold a gift card to Cardpool On 12/28/On 01/07/2018, I sent an email to their customer service asking why I haven't received the payout as it's been days after I sold the gift cardOn 01/12/2018, after days of no response, I sent a follow up email again asking why I still haven't received the payoutOn 01/17/2018, I sent a third email again asking what's going on and why they haven't responded to my former emailsConsidering it's well over the 7-days they claimed I should receive a check, and with no responses from their customer service after three attempts within the span of days, I believe cardpool has scammed me into selling my gift card to them in hopes of receiving a check

I sent almost $in gift cards to Cardpool with the promise of a check for $I shipped the cards first class mail with their prepaid shipping label which [redacted] claims on their website takes 1-business daysdays later I finally was able to reach someone from Cardpool through [redacted] of all places who claim they never received my card and she is now ignoring my messagesThey have no phone number listed and are not answering emailsAt this point I am about to seek an attorney even if I don't get a single dime out of it
