Review: I've received two issues of a magazine I didn't -- to my knowledge -- order, nor that I want. Thinking it was a gift subscription, I contacted the Customer Service department of the magazine, [redacted] only to be informed that I could not cancel it because it was ordered by a third party. I was then given a number to contact, [redacted], and the name "[redacted]". I assumed I would reach a Customer Service associate. Apparently, they do not have associates available for such inquiries because I was bounced around from option to option and finally given an email address: [redacted] . However, when I entered it in, I received an "This webpage does not exist" message, with a graphic showing it was broken. I tried, several more times and received the same message. When I type "[redacted]" into a search engine, the first option that comes up -- a magazine subscription service -- does not offer any Customer Service number to call. I just want to cancel a magazine that I never ordered, I never would order and my friends and family would never order for me but, apparently, I can't. Always very careful when ordering subscriptions and products online, I can't imagine I'd have missed a pre-checked box, allowing this but I don't even know who had my information and sent it to this magazine. There is a feeling that I may have been misled and that this subscription was added to another product or service but I'm upset that I can't even speak to a service associate about it.Desired Settlement: I want "[redacted]" magazine to stop coming to my house and I want these shadowy third parties to be clearer about who they intend to giving customer information, to and I want "[redacted]" to aquire some measure of live, customer service contact.

Hello,

We are sorry for the inconvenience. This order was sent to the publishers on 05/01/2013.

Standard delivery time for most magazines is 6 to 10 weeks, depending on the date an order is placed and the publication's frequency. Some monthly magazines and those published less frequently may take a little longer.

We have cancelled the order and issued a full refund.

Sincerely,

Blue Dolphin Customer Support

I received a magazine I did not order - [redacted].
The Parent company of that mag could only tell me it was sent from a corp I never heard of - M2Media, they could NOT tell me how M2Media got my info...
Calling the M2Media contact info gives you an automated service...trying to use their cancelmag.com website was useless as their response was my "subscription" (HAH) was not found...I filled out their request form to cancel but Many people have done that with NO REMEDY so I am quite concerned.
I stated in the email that I would post this complaint as a way of documenting my contact with them today - 9 - 26 - 14
I will be emailing them EVERYDAY until I get a response...I even created a New Email account so that they can't spam me for my trouble : (
I found another phone number ###-###-#### that another poster had success with in speaking to a HUMAN but I either got no connection or a voice mail recording...
Why is this even LEGAL!
why do I have to chase around this shady corp
how do we find out WHO is sharing our private info

Review: I received a [redacted] subscription that I did not order. I called [redacted] Customer Services and they advised that the subscription was initiated by M2 Media Group. Last year, I sent Revdex.com a complaint regarding a request to cancel [redacted] which finally got stopped. There is no number to contact this outfit and I sent an email twice to cancel this [redacted] subscription and to delete my name and address permanently out of their system For this company not to have a listed phone number seems very shady to meDesired Settlement: Stop this magazine and delete my name and address permanently out of their system

Review: May 2, I received a magazine "[redacted]" that I did not order. I contacted the magazine & was referred to M2 Media Group to cancel the "subscription". They claimed the magazine was a complimentary subscription for no charge. I cancelled the magazine online and sent M2 Media Group an email canceling the magazine also. Saturday, May 16, I received ANOTHER unordered magazine from M2 Media group " [redacted]". I went through the same process with canceling online and via email. Given that there are hundreds of magazines, this harassment can go on forever. Can you stop them? I do not want any magazines from M2 Media Group period.Desired Settlement: Please stop M2 Media Group from sending me any magazines for any reason forever.

I can not reach anyone at this company to talk to. I keep getting directed to a website where more of my information is request. Review: I've been receiving [redacted] and [redacted] & [redacted] magazines -- which I did not subscribe to. I called both [redacted] and [redacted] to ask them to stop my subscriptions. They both gave me the M2 Media Group telephone number. Which I called and lefty a message to stop my magazines -- because they are not mine! I didn't order them. I'm reporting this to Revdex.com as I've seen that others have had a hard time stopping unwanted subscriptions. I want my name and address COMPLETELY removed from M2 Media Group. I would like to know how they got it too. But for now, I've registered my complaint & we'll go from there! Thank You!Desired Settlement: Take my name and address completely off of M2 Media Group's records. I'd also like to know how they got my information, if possible. Thanks!

Review: After making a purchase on [redacted] on 6/21/13, I submitted a magazine rebate form for a $10.00 rebate on 7/17/13 in lieu of receiving a magazine subscription. As of today's date, I have never received the $10.00 rebate. I contacted [redacted], and they directed me to m2mediagroup as being the entity that would supply the rebate. I e-mailed m2mediagroup on four separate occasions and received a response one time stating, "Unfortunately your rebate request was denied because the rebate offer is limited to 1 per household. Our records indicate that you have received a rebate check in the past." After receiving this response, I e-mailed m2mediagroup on two separate occasions stating that I have never received a rebate from them in past and to please check their records and correct them in order that I may receive my $10.00 rebate. To date, I have never received either my rebate check or a response from them to my second set of e-mails.Desired Settlement: To receive a $10.00 rebate check from m2mediagroup that was a [redacted] promotion.

Review: This company had [redacted] magazine sent to me because of some website I visited. I did not ask for or want this magazine, and they did the same once before with [redacted] magazine. Not knowing this waste same with [redacted] I contacted the magazine and they would not send any more issues. But the magazine said I need to called M2 Media to cancel. They gave me the number which was XXX-XXX-XXXX. There is no way to speak to a person, and to cancel a subscription I neither requested or wanted, I had to write a letter or fill out a form on line. I spoke to a supervisor at [redacted] and this, too, was the only number she had and in her end could not speak to anyone. This is appalling. There is no way to opt out with M2 Media Group and this scam, and it is just a matter or time before they send me another useless and amazing. This business practice is invasive, thoroughly aggravating and there is no way to stop it. They need to have an opt out of all such mailings and also if they are going to impose on my privacy then need to have a person available on the phone -- which I use to have! A legitimate company would have a phone number on their website instead of further inconvenience to people to write a letter or go in line to cancel. THE AUDACITY

Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)

I want M2 Media Group to insure that my name and address will be permanently removed from their data base and never, ever send me any magazines again!!! I want them to include an opt-out function on the email form they have in their website -- which is the only want to communicate with them

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT ACCEPT the response from the business.)

I requested that's be removed from their data base and opt-out of receiving any "free" magazines from M2 Media Group in the future. Their reponse to Revdex.com is a pat answer that I also received via email and does not adds my specific concerns or opting out. Nothing short of this will be acceptable resolution.

Review: [redacted] not received after almost 5 months.

I placed an order at the start of November. The email from the order said the subscription should start to be received in December.

I waited until early February and emailed M2 Media Group several times because I had not received anything. They never responded. I left a message at their phone support number, no response there also.

Since I had placed this order through [redacted] and [redacted] website I called a manager there. They refused to help, but after being on hold for a long time I was patched through to a manager at M2 Media.

The manager was rude and told me to just "wait longer". It is now the end of March and still nothing. I tried emailing this company, but they are not responding.

They refuse to refund my order, but they also refuse to ship me my subscription. They are glad to take my money though.Desired Settlement: As I have asked several times, please refund my order.
