Review: I never signed up for any magazines, however, I am receiving 7 different types. When I called all of the magazine companies, they said they could not help me because I was signed up by M2 Media Group and would have to contact them. I called the number and of course I couldn't speak with anyone. A company should not be able to sign me up for anything and then expect me to pay for it!Desired Settlement: Discontinue all magazines and never sign me up for another magazine or any other product/service again!

Review: In December 2013, I placed an online order for shoes that included a [redacted] magazine subscription (valued at $19.95) with my purchase. If I preferred not to receive the magazine, I could check a box and request a rebate for $19.95. That same evening, I printed out all the correct forms and mailed out my rebate request to M2 Media. Imagine my surprise when mid-January I received the magazine instead of the rebate. From January 22 thru the end of February I called 3 to 4 times a week trying to get an answer on why I received the magazine instead of the rebate. My main contact was [redacted] at ###-###-####. She never returned calls; I left many, many messages and the only way I ever spoke to her was when she answered the phone. Her only "resolution" was to send an email to corporate asking for any information, which she stated she did each time I was able to speak to her. She even offered up that maybe my rebate request was never received - I challenged that by stating where else did they get all of the information needed to send me the magazine instead? Finally in frustration, I asked for the corporate address so I could follow up myself. She stated that she didn't know the address(!) even though I am sure it is printed on her paychecks. She also did not know the corporate email address either as she bundled up all emails to be sent to corporate and passed them along to her supervisor (who remained unreachable and anonymous). At this point I determined I was not going to get any satisfaction from this company other than the small triumph I feel when I throw the monthly magazine into the trash can.Desired Settlement: I would like what I have wanted since the beginning - my rebate of $19.95.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution (if it occurs) is satisfactory to me.

However, due to the difficulty I encountered, I have become pessimistic regarding M2 Media and would like to keep the claim open until I actually receive the rebate check. I will notify the Revdex.com as soon as the check has been received and at that point, yes, everything will be resolved to my satisfaction.

Sincerely,

Consumer

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

I understand you are the one I need to contact regarding my complaint #[redacted] against M2 Media. Back on May 19, I “conditionally” accepted the resolution proposed by the company. My magazine subscription was to be terminated and I was to receive a rebate for $19.95 within 4 to 6 weeks. It has now been over 8 weeks and I have not received my rebate, but lo and behold, I have received an additional magazine!

I am not sure exactly what steps need to be taken at this point, but I was wondering if M2 Media needs to be contacted again….please let me know what I need to do to resolve this issue.

Thank you for your attention,

Review: Spam! This company has sent me spam on a regular basis.I do NOT have any business relationship with this company. I have NEVER asked for anything from this company, nor do I WANT anything from this company. They obtained my email address by very questionable means only to send spam to it. They know that they are sending spam and that it is wrong to do so, yet they choose to do it. I would never do business with them even if they were the last company in the world.Desired Settlement: I want an apology for their inconsiderate marketing methods, and want to be assured that any of my information is removed from their lists.

Review: Like everyone else who's complaint I've read on several websites, I have a magazine subscription processed by M2MediaGroup that I did not order and will not pay for. I never ordered [redacted] cancelled it online today on the M2 website, and hope that will be sufficient. I've read other complaints that it is not sufficient to cancel a subscription on the M2MediaGroup site.

Like others, I believe that the fact a company can deceitfully connect with customer purchases from another company site, and then say "you could have opted out" is outrageous. I know of no transaction I made that allowed M2 to process a magazine subscription I did not order, but this experience has me looking at the list of businesses on M2Media "[redacted]" with caution as well. Why would any legitimate business want a connection with this deceitful practice?

This is a scam.Desired Settlement: I want M2Media to cancel this bogus subscription to [redacted]. I want them to respond to the complaint I made on their website, and tell me IN WRITING that I will not receive further magazines or contact with M2Media.

I want scams such as this, and specifically M2Media, to be investigated! The Revdex.com has over 300 complaints for this company about the same thing going back to August 2014. What is required for this scam to cease?,

Review: I have been receiving [redacted] magazine. I never subscribed to receive this magazine. I wrote to [redacted] to cancel the magazine and stated that I would not pay for any invoices since I never ordered it. [redacted] sent me an email stating they could not cancel delivery. [redacted] further stated I needed to contact M2 Media at : [redacted]. I sent an email stating 1. cancel [redacted] ASAP; 2. Asking how I got a magazine I never subscribed to and 3. I would not be paying for any invoice for said magazine. This is not the first time I have received magazines that I never ordered.Desired Settlement: I want M2 Media to cease forwarding my ill gotten information to any magazine and/or business for any reason, an explanation stating how they were able to obtain my information and subscribe to a magazine that I did not request and lastly, an apology for my time, effort and aggravation.

Sincerely,

Review: I placed an order through [redacted] for a magazine subscription as a gift on 7/19/2015. After the 4-6 week waiting period [redacted] claims it takes to receive the subscription on their website, no delivery. I contacted [redacted] on 10/03/2015 and they told me it was actually a 10 week waiting period and referred me to their third party seller, M2 Media Group. I contacted the company on 11/12/2015 they looked into the situation and found an error with the processing, I waited for another week, did not here anything from them. I contacted them again on 11/12/2015, in which they claim they are looking into the processing error and will "resend as soon as it is resolved." I believe I waited ample time for them to resolve the issue and feel as if M2 Media Group keeps giving me the run around.Desired Settlement: I would like my brother-in-law to receive his magazine, if the company cannot fill the year subscription that I purchased, I would like a refund. However, I do not know if [redacted] issues the return because I purchased through them originally, or from M2 Media Group. Any assistance from Revdex.com would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time!

Hello,

Review: I received a bill for a 1 yr subscription to [redacted] magazine. I never signed up for this magazine in the first place. [redacted] sent me a renewal notice. I don't want this magazine - never did. The customer service number for [redacted] is not a working number. The email address pops back as mailer-daemon. After searching on the internet everything indicates this is a horrible company to get tangled up with and I don't want to be tangled up with them in any way, shape or form. I am returning the billing notice with cancel written on it. However, I have no other way to contact them which I think is poor business. Can you assist me in any way?Desired Settlement: I do not want to renew nor do I want to be billed for something I didn't ask for. Nor do I want them to turn this over for collection. I'm afraid they will just keep renewing over and over til I die. I want them to cancel the subscription - I never asked for and stop billing me.

Review: About a month ago, out of the clear blue sky, found a charge on our bank statement for a little over $81.00 for magazine subscription renewal. I did not give this company consent to charge me for anything, and I certainly did not give them my billing info! I'm very concerned about this. I have gone through [redacted], which is the only place I've ever subscribed from and they say it's not through them. I contacted [redacted] and they gave me M2 media's information, to whom I contacted 7/8/14 and have gotten nowhere.I have several of these subscriptions that I am receiving and am not able to cancel. I want to be reimbursed as I never consented, and also customer service has not responded to my pleas for the past month! This is a terribly shady business practice, it just so happens that my husband is deployed, so I watch over the bank account like an eagle. I have A VERY tight budget right now and I cannot afford to lose this amount of money. Thank you for your time.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund and for all of my subscriptions to be cancelled[redacted]

Review: I was surprised to receive an unsolicited subscription to [redacted] in my mailbox today. I have traced this back by phone to Blue Dolphin Magazines, a subsidiary of M2 Media Group. I was unable to reach anyone on the phone at Blue Dolphin; the phone number appeared to be disconnected. I called M2 Media Group, where I was told that the subscription probably came because I had made a purchase on [redacted], an online company. M2 Media Group did not let me cancel the subscription; they referred me to the Blue Dolphin web page. I was unable to cancel my subscription there as the web site said they had no record of my order. As I said, I did NOT order the magazine in the first place. I have now written to Blue Dolphin Magazines' CEO, but I am not expecting to hear anything after the run-around that I got today. I do NOT want the magazine; I did NOT order it; I want to cancel. Thank you.Desired Settlement: I want a cancellation of the [redacted] subscription as quickly as possible. Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

If they were so concerned with providing exceptional customer service they would provide a toll free number for customers to reach them, also they wouldn't have numerous complaints against them with the Revdex.com. They obviously can't see what the public sees, they aren't doing a very good job. In response to their response I did send them two emails regarding subscription issues, but just goes to show how bad the customer service really is.

Review: I placed an order with [redacted].com for some patio chairs. I was offered a magazine subscription or a $20 rebate if I did not want the magazine. I did not want the magazine and filled in the form provided in order to receive a $20 rebate. This was on 03/21/2015. The form stated the rebate would take 5 to 8 weeks. At 10 weeks (05/28/2015) I inquired where the rebate was. I was told it was processed on 04/24/2015 and if I had not received it by then I should allow 2 to 3 weeks for delivery. Obviously I had not received it by then and informed the company of such. On 05/29/2015 I was told the rebate was on its way for delivery. I again inquired on 06/08/2015 and requested immediate delivery of the rebate. I heard nothing and again inquired on 06/19/2015 and was told "we've contacted the appropriate department and they have informed us that there was an error with the processing of your rebate. A new check has been issued and will be sent out to (my address). The new check should arrive in 2-3 weeks." I have not as yet received the rebate check as of 07/10/215 (another 3 weeks and more than 3 months since the rebate was initially requested). I have informed the company I had not received it. I also informed [redacted].com of the poor performance of their vendor. All the contact I had with the company was via email. This is obviously a scam as the rebate was not delivered. Any help you may provide would be greatly appreciated. This company needs to be shut down. I see multiple complaints against this company regarding this same form and magazines not ordered as well as rebates not received. How can they keep a B rating with you? They obviously should have an F rating.Desired Settlement: I want my $20 rebate immediately.

Consumer

Response:

I would like the $20 rebate and another $20 for my time spent on addressing this problem.

I will accept the offer once the subscription is cancelled-not before. The reasons are: I sent several emails including one to the company president requesting cancellation ALL my emails were ignored. Also checking the company's reputation on the internet regarding cases like this I find that they appear to be one level above scam.

Review: I started receiving a magazine in October that I would never subscribe to. At first I assumed it was a mistake and attempted to cancel the subscription through the magazine's online cancellation service. I continued to receive the magazine so I finally called the magazine and found out that they could suspend the service but not cancel it and that I had been subscribed through M2 Media group. I have never heard of M2 Media Group. I tried calling their customer service and am in an infinite loop with their automated system. There seems to be no way to talk to a person. I am concerned about filling in their online form because I do not want to give them any more information about myself. I am worried that this is some kind of scam!Desired Settlement: I want M2 Media Group to
