Review: I HAVE BEEN RECEIVING MAGAZINES TITLED INSTYLE WHICH I NEVER ORDERED. I LOOKED UP THE PHONE NUMBER FOR THIS MAGAZINE AND SPOKE WITH A CUSTOMER REP NAMED [redacted] AND INFORMED HER I WANTED THEM TO STOP SENDING ME THE MAGAZINES AS I HAD NEVER SUBSCRIBED TO THEM, SHE INFORMED ME IT WAS ORDERED BY A THIRD PARTY AGENCY UNDER THE NAME OF M2 MEDIA GROUP AND SHE GAVE ME A NUMBER TO CALL THEM. THE NUMBER SHE GAVE ME WAS [redacted] HOWEVER IT NEVER LETS YOU SPEAK TO A CUSTOMER SERVICE REP. ON THEIR WEBSITE I FILLED OUT A CANCELLATION FORM AND I AM HOPING THAT THEY STOP SENDING THESE MAGAZINES, AND IF A BILL COMES IT WILL NOT BE PAID AS I NEVER ORDERED THIS. I THINK IT IS TERRIBLE THAT A COMPANY WOULD TAKE IT UPON THEMSELVES TO SEND THE MAGAZINE WITHOUT THE PERSON ORDERING IT.Desired Settlement: TO HAVE MY NAME REMOVED FROM THEIR LIST AND NOT TO RECEIVE ANY MORE MAGAZINES AND FOR THEM NOT TO FORWARD ANY OF MY INFORMATION TO OTHER THIRD PARTY AFFILIATIONS FOR THEM TO SEND ME ANY TYPE OF MERCHANDISE OR SUBSCRIPTIONS THAT I HAVE NOT ORDERED MYSELF

Review: About a week ago I received a copy of [redacted] that had my information on it and a 2015 sub date. I called [redacted] and they said that the M2 company was the one who ordered it for me. I called M2 Media and they could not find my information but took it down to research this case. A week went by and I heard nothing. I called again today and did the same thing. I did not at any point request this magazine be ordered I want to know who ordered it for me and why. Both [redacted] and [redacted] are giving me the runaroundDesired Settlement: I want the name of who authorized the magazine subscription and I want it canceled. If a card was billed I want the money back.

Review: Ordered Running Times magazine through their partner Barnes and Noble. Never received it.

I ordered the magazine Jan. 4th. After months of not receiving an issue I started pursuing an explanation for that fact. I was promised many things from M2Media including calls from supervisors and communication with the publisher to resolve the issue, but now after 6 months I still have not recieved an issue nor have I ever been called back by a supervisor or management.Desired Settlement: At this point I have requested a refund and of course at the bare minimum that must occur. I did want to receive the magazine and if they are truly in good faith they should deliver what was promised many months ago, plus something to accommodate for the time and annoyance I've received. This might be easiest for them to deliver extra years of the magazine at their expense.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT ACCEPT the response from the business.)

Of course I cancelled my order. I didn't receive what I had ordered after six months of waiting and many attempts of having it remedied over the phone. It certainly didn't make sense letting them keep my money.

Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2013/07/11) */

Hello,

Unfortunately, once the order has been cancelled we are no longer able to look into the matter and send any issues.

The customer has been refunded in the full amount of $5.00.

Review: I am being sent issues of [redacted] Magazine which I never wanted or would ever in a million years subscribe to.

After using [redacted] Magazine's site, I'm told that I cannot cancel the subscription because I was enrolled by M2 Media, LLC.

This is clearly a scam. I never signed up for this.Desired Settlement: So help me God if I'm charged for something I never wanted or ordered. And never would.

Review: On 1/23/2014 I received in the mail two issues (Jan & Feb 2014) of the [redacted]. I did not subscribe to the magazine, so I contacted [redacted] at 800-627-4444 and spoke with their representative. I was told that M2 Media Group in Stamford, CT signed me up for a two-year subscription ending in Dec 2015. Prior to this conversation I had never heard of M2 Media Group. The representative agreed to suspend the subscription at my request but said that I would need to contact M2 Media Group at [redacted] in order to cancel the subscription. When I contacted that number I was unable to reach a live person, but instead was routed through a maze of options, some of which would require leaving personal information with the company. I have never authorized M2 Media Group to use my name and information to order a magazine from any company.Desired Settlement: I want to find out why M2 Media Group sent me a two-year paid subscription to [redacted] magazine without my authorization, and I want the subscription cancelled immediately.

Review: I RECEIVED A COPY OF [redacted] MAGAZINE LAST WEEK IN THE MAIL WITH A 1 YEAR SUBSCRIPTION THAT I NEVER APPLIED FOR. [redacted] MAGAZINE TOLD ME THAT M2 MEDIA GROUP PURCHASED THE SUBSCRIPTION. I'VE E-MAILED M2 MEDIA AND WILL CALL THEM MONDAY MORNING BUT LOOKING AT COMPLAINT BLOGS ON-LINE THEY HAVE BEEN DOING THIS TO A LOT OF PEOPLE AND DON'T RESPOND TO CORRECT PROBLEM. I DON'T KNOW HOW MANY MORE SUBSCRIPTIONS THAT THEY MAY HAVE PURCHASED IN MY NAME. I NEED ALL SUBSCRIPTIONS CANCELLED.Desired Settlement: CANCELLATION OF THIS SUBSCRIPTION AND ANY OTHERS THAT THEY MAY HAVE OPENED. I SHOULD NOT BE CHARGED ANY FEES.

I started to receive a magazine I never subscribed for. Contacted that magazine and was told that I got this subscription through M2Media. Tried to contact M2Media but there is no way to get someone on the phone. Their phone system does not work. I can cancel subscription online (not sure if it works). But I would like to know who subscribed me for that magazine and why.

Review: I beleive they are involved in Identiy Theft.

Started recieving a magazine in the mail. Contacted magazine and was told it was ordered from M2 Media Group. Unable to contact them by phone and their web site is useless. I never did any buisness with them or their partners. There is no reason I should have rec'd a magazine in the mail unless they are involved in Identiy Theft, namely mine. I want to know where they got my name, email address and home address. They have violated my privacy and stole my identity. Desired Settlement: I want to know where they retained my personal information from.

Review: I started receiving ** magazine last month. I took the time and researched this info and found an account # [redacted]. I was not able to cancel online on the ** website and called ###-###-####. Talked with [redacted], an agent, and had told me that it was M2 Media Group who gave their info to them. She also told me that I would start being charged in August 2014 for the subscription which I did not request or authorize. Receiving these junk magazines makes it difficult to cancel or find out how this happened, then to be told I would be charged for it.Desired Settlement: I would like to know the specifics on how this company received my personal info and why they started sending me this magazine. I want to know if I was ever billed by them so I can report fraud with my financial institution because I did not authorize this subscription. I want the company to put me on the list to never send magazine or charge me for any subsciption I did not sign for or authorize. I want a live person to call so I can express my concern.

Review: ON 11/15/13, I WAS OFFERED, AND ACCEPTED, TO JOIN AN ONLINE DEMOGRAPHIC DATA SURVEY WEBSITE COMPANY CALLED [redacted], WHICH REWARDS MEMBERS W/POINTS, UPON COMPLETION OF BIWEEKLY CONSUMER DATA ONLINE SURVEYS. THE POINTS, ONCE ACCUMULATED, CAN BE REDEEMED FOR MAGAZINES, PERIODICALS AND BOOKS ON TAPES.

ON 9/5/14, MINUTES AFTER MY COMPLETION OF AN ONLINE SURVEY, I REC'D A CONFIRMATION EMAIL, FROM [redacted] STATING THAT [redacted] HAD CONFIRMED MY REDEMPTION OF $71 IN REWARD POINTS, FOR 228 DAILY ISSUES OF THE [redacted], TO BE MAILED TO MY HOME ADDRESS.

ON 10/5/14, I'D YET TO RECEIVE ONE ISSUE OF THE [redacted], SO I PHONED THE [redacted]'S CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPT., AND THEY TOLD ME NO NEW ACCOUNT HAD BEEN OPENED FOR ME BY A 3RD PARTY, i.e., [redacted].

ON 10/6/14, I EMAILED [redacted] AT [redacted] ASKING WHAT THE SPECIFIC DELAY WAS IN REGARDS TO MY REWARD POINTS BEING REDEEMED FOR THE 228 [redacted] ISSUES, AND WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO BEGIN RECEIVING MY EARNED [redacted] SUBSCRIPTION. THAT EMAIL WAS IMMEDIATELY RETURNED TO ME, STATING THAT IT COULD NOT BE DELIVERED, AND THAT IT WAS A PERMANENT ERROR.

ON 10/7/14 & 10/15/14, I SENT EMAILS TO [redacted], TO THEIR ABOVE CONTACT EMAIL ADDRESS.

ON 10/16/14, I REC'D AN EMAIL FROM [redacted] INDICATING THAT

"THE OFFER ONLY ALLOWS ONE SUBSCRIPTION PER CUSTOMER. THE ORDERS THAT YOU PLACED ON 4/17/14 AND 9/5/14 WERE AUTOMATICALLY RECORDED AS DUPLICATES. PLEASE ALLOW 48 HOURS TO RECEIVE YOUR POINTS BACK. SINCERELY, M2 MAGS CUSTOMER SERVICE

BECAUSE NOWHERE ON THE [redacted] WEBPAGES DO THEY INDICATE A RESTRICTION OF ONE SUBSCRIPTION PER MAGAZINE/NEWSPAPER PER CUSTOMER, I BELIEVE [redacted] HAS BREACHED THEIR AGREEMENT OF SUPPLYING ME WITH MY CHOICE OF REWARDS UPON REDEMPTION OF MY REWARD POINTS. THE ONLY EXPLANATION OF THEIR CONTRACTUAL CONDITIONS WITH US MEMBERS, ARE ON THEIR FAQ WEBPAGE, WHICH STATES NOTHING ABOUT "ONE SUBSCRIPTION PER CUSTOMER." NOTE: IN MY 2 YEARS AS A [redacted] MEMBER, I HAVE REDEEMED MAGAZINES AND NEWSPAPERS IN DUPLICATE NUMEROUS TIMES.

I WANTED TO SPEAK TO A [redacted] CUSTOMER SERVICE REP TO ASK SPECIFICALLY WHERE DOES IT STATE ON THE [redacted] WEBSITE THAT THEIR POLICY ALLOWS ONLY "ONE SUBSCRIPTION PER CUSTOMER," BUT NO PHONE NUMBER COULD BE FOUND, FOR ME TO DO SO.

AFTER ONEROUS SEARCHING, I FOUND THAT [redacted] IS A REGISTERED TRADEMARK WITH M2 MEDIA GROUP, THE COMPANY WHO SIGNED THE 10/16/14, EMAIL SENT TO ME. NO PHONE NUMBER WAS GIVEN FOR M2 MEDIA GROUP.

I AM INCLINED TO BELIEVE THAT I WAS REFUSED MY DESERVED 228 ISSUES OF THE [redacted] DUE TO IT BEING A HIGH VALUE REWARD, AND THAT THE "ONE SUBSCRIPTION PER CUSTOMER" EXPLANATION WAS PULLED OUT OF THIN AIR, TO MINIMIZE THEIR COSTS. I REPEAT, NOWHERE ON THE [redacted] WEBSITE DO THEY INDICATE THE CONDITION OF ONLY "ONE SUBSCRIPTION PER CUSTOMER."

I DID FIND 2 PHONE NUMBERS FOR M2 MEDIA GROUP(####-###-#### OR ####-###-####), AND HAVE MADE 10+ PHONE CALLS, ASKING ABOUT MY ACCOUNT, REFERRING TO THE M2 MAGS CUSTOMER SUPPORT 10/16/14 EMAIL I RECEIVED FROM THEM. BUT NO ONE HAS ANY RECORDS OF THAT EMAIL, OR FOR MY [redacted] MEMBERSHIP ACCOUNT, OR MY 228 [redacted] REDEMPTION REQUEST. AND, NEVER COULD THEY TRANSFER ME TO A SUPERVISOR. MY ACCOUNT COULD NOT BE FOUND EVEN THO I PRESENTLY RECEIVE 2 MONTHLY MAGAZINES FROM THEM.

I HAVE THE STRONG SUSPICION THAT A FRAUD, A BREACH OF CONTRACT HAS BEEN PERPETRATED UPON ME BY [redacted] AND M2 MEDIA GROUP, BECAUSE

----THEY WILL NOT HONOR MY [redacted] REDEMPTION REQUEST, EVEN THOUGH THERE IS NO "ONE SUBSCRIPTION PER CUSTOMER" POLICY ON THEIR WEBSITE

----[redacted] IS IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT VIA EMAIL OR PHONE. AFTER 2 MONTHS AND 10+ PHONE CALLS, I'VE YET TO FIND ANYONE WHO CAN FIND MY 2 YEAR OLD ACCOUNT

----M2 MEDIA GROUP CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS DENY ANY AND ALL AFFILIATION W/ [redacted] MEMBERS, SUCH AS ME, EVEN THO M2 MEDIA GROUP SENT ME THE 10/16/14 EMAIL ABOUT THE [redacted] "ONE SUBSCRIPTION PER CUSTOMER" POLICY.

----M2 MEDIA GROUP CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS REFUSE TO TRANSFER ME TO SPEAK W/ A SUPERVISOR.Desired Settlement: I WISH TO BEGIN RECEIVING IMMEDIATELY, THE 228 ISSUES OF [redacted], THAT I EARNED, AS WAS STATED IN THE [redacted], 9/5/14, CONFIRMATION EMAIL, I RECEIVED. I WANT THIS CONDITION, IN WRITING, ON OFFICIAL LETTERHEAD STATIONERY, FROM A M2 MEDIA GROUP ACCOUNT MANAGER, WITH HIS/HER CONTACT PHONE NUMBER,, MAILED TO ME, SO THAT I MAY REFER TO IT, SHOULD I FIND THEM BROACHING THEIR AGREEMENT OF SERVICES IN THE FUTURE.

I WISH ALSO, SHOULD I CONTINUE PARTICIPATING AS A MEMBER OF [redacted], IN FILLING OUT THEIR CONSUMER BEHAVIOR SURVEYS AND RECEIVING REWARD POINTS, TO BE ABLE TO REDEEM SAID REWARD POINTS FOR ANY AND ALL OF THE REWARDS THAT ARE SHOWN ON THEIR WEBSITE, REGARDLESS AS TO WHETHER IT MAY BE MY 1ST, 2ND, 3RD OR ANY DUPLICATION OF SUBSCRIPTION. I ALSO WANT THIS CONDITION IN WRITING, ON OFFICIAL LETTERHEAD STATIONERY, FROM A M2 MEDIA GROUP ACCOUNT MANAGER, WITH HIS/HER PHONE NUMBER, MAILED TO ME, SHOULD I FIND THEM BROACHING THEIR AGREEMENT OF SERVICES IN THE FUTURE.

I ALSO WANT AN EXPLANATION IN WRITING, ON OFFICIAL LETTERHEAD STATIONERY FROM AN M2 MEDIA GROUP ACCOUNT MANAGER, AS TO THE AFFILIATION OF M2 MEDIA GROUP AND [redacted].

Review: Hello,I received a free subscription to [redacted] as a result of an online purchase at [redacted] a couple of months ago. On Monday morning, I got an email saying that my subscription was almost over and that I needed to cancel or it would automatically renew so first I went to their website, [redacted] following the link sent and I went to change my address for the remaining issues that I was to receive. I did not authorize any renewals and when I went to cancel my subscription, I realized that I had to create an account and was then confused as to how I could change my address and not cancel without an account. As a precaution, I checked my online banking statement and sure enough, I was charged for a renewal. No where on the screen that I saw and read did I see that I was authorizing ANY charges. As all of this happened in a 5-10 minute period, immediately emailed [redacted] magazines explaining what had happened and asking for a cancelation and refund (as I cannot afford this subscription at the time) and I have yet to receive a response. They have no phone numbers to call and ensure that emails will be returned promptly but what I need is this matter resolved before I'm told it's too late. All that I would like is for my account to be canceled and my money refunded and hopefully a promise that the Revdex.com will monitor their future practices.Thank youDesired Settlement: I would like my money refunded and my account canceled. I haven't received any new issues and I emailed right after I realized that I was charged without my knowledge or authorization and would like no further business with this organization.

Good afternoon,

I would like to let you know that my complaint against [redacted] Magazines has been resolved. I was finally responded to by customer service and my subscription was canceled and the unauthorized charge was refunded and appeared in my bank account as of this morning.

I truly appreciate your help,

Review: I started receiving [redacted] Magazine, which I DID NOT ORDER, within the last two weeks. In investigating online, I found that this is a typical practice of this company, apparently, and that it is difficult to get the subscription cancelled. I want to cancel this and not be charged for it. I wonder how a company can legally do such a thing as ordering something for a person that they did not order or want. The magazine customer service states that you have to go through M2 Media Group to cancel because they are the ones who ordered it. Apparently, there is something of a group package through these [redacted] or something. At any rate, I would like to report this. Thank you.Desired Settlement: I would like my subscription cancelled with no charge, but also to report it for you and other [redacted] to know about this company. Thank you.

Review: I purchased a magazine subscription through BlueDolphine group as a gift. At the checkout page I accepted an offer for five (5) issues of [redacted] for an addition $2 on 12/23/13.

When I checked my back account there was a recurring check card purchase for $14.98 that I did not authorize. I called the number in the description and spoke to a representative. I told her that this purchase was not authorized and that I want a full refund. I was told that this was a recurring renewal process but I never authorized it. I asked her to cancel the renewal, charge and future issues. She confirmed with a cancellation code, informed me that I will be refunded, and told me that I will receive my additional three (3) issues per the $2 purchase.Desired Settlement: In addition to receiving a full refund and cancellation of any further issues I would like to know how this charge was authorized.

Review: I received a [redacted] magazine a couple of months ago and thought it might have been a sample to sell magazines. After I received two more, I called the magazine to find out why. I was told M2media ordered the magazine for me. I neither ordered nor authorized any person or entity to place this order. I have attempted to contact M2 Media Group at the customer service number given to me by a customer service representative of the [redacted] magazine but can only reach a recorded message that provided https://cancelmag.com website to cancel the magazine subscription. I then went to the website and it asked me to provide my name, email address along with my mailing address. The website appeared unsafe/fake site with nothing to tell me it was a customer service site for M2 Media Group. Without anything official looking, I did not feel comfortable giving out additional personal information. I want my subscription to be canceled and assurance from M2 Media Group that I will not be charged. I want to be FOREVER off their list.Desired Settlement: I want some assurance that I will not be billed, that this will not effect my credit rating, and that I will have no further contact from this shady company again after this issue is resolved. I'd also like to know how/why this even happened.
