Review: I have been trying to get off their email list for about a year now. I click on the unsubscribe button every time they send me something. I sent 4-5 emails to all the emails I can find at their company. I even have written confirmation that I am not going to receive any more emails but I still do.Desired Settlement: I want them not only to stop emailing me but to also delete all information they have about me.

Hello,
Review: I purchased a duvet from [redacted].com on March 28, 2015. At that time, I opted out of getting a free magazine subscription by sending in a form requesting a rebate in the amount of $10. I was due to receive it within 6-8 weeks and never did, so I contacted [redacted] and they put me in touch with [redacted].com as they would be handing the rebate. Since my initial email contact, I have received intermittent results. Sometimes a week goes by until I receive a response. Each time, I am given a date of when my rebate was processed and when I can expect it in the mail. Each date has come and gone and I still have not received a check. Today's email response said that there was a "problem with the processing of my rebate" (even though I was told it had been processed and mailed at least three times) and I should expect to receive it on August 14, 2015. There is limited communication from this company and I don't believe they are a legitimate business. They have no phone number listed and when I requested one, I received no reply. I want my $10 rebate check as promised by [redacted] and [redacted].com and I shouldn't have to wait yet another month only to receive nothing.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive the $10 rebate check I was promised back on March 28, 2015. I shouldn't have to wait 6 months and be given the runaround each time the company does not come through with the check. I want this business investigated and I want my check ASAP, not on August 14, 2015.

Response:
Dear [redacted] ,There was an error with the processing of your rebate which caused a delay. As an apology, we've contacted the appropriate department to speed up this process. The rebate check for $10 will ship tomorrow. Please allow 5-7 business for delivery.[redacted]Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience or frustration. Sincerely yours,M2 Mags Customer Support

Response:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me PENDING that I receive the check within 5-7 business (days) from today, July 16, 2015. Unfortunately, I have been told 4 times previously of a date when the check was actually processed and when it would be shipped...so to say that I am somewhat doubtful that it was an "error" that caused this delay is hard for ME to process. I will close this case only when I receive the check in the mail and it is cleared at my bank.
Sincerely,
Review: On 3/02/2015, I mailed a rebate form for $19.95 to M2 Media Group at their office in [redacted]. The rebate was advertised on [redacted].com for a check for $19.95 in lieu of a magazine subscription with a $50 purchase. The order number is [redacted].
As of 7/16/2015, I have not received any rebate or magazine. The M2 Media customer service has not been helpful and does not know what to do in order to look into this rebate. I have spoken with the company many times and get a runaround each time as if the company is intentionally try to avoid honoring their rebate.Desired Settlement: Please issue check for $19.95 as advertised.

Review: Never heard of this company, and I certainly have NEVER subscribed to US Weekly. Last week on 9/23, I received an issue in the mail addressed to me. I got in touch with the magazine who said they cannot cancel my unwanted subscription because I was signed up by this company. I am furious.Desired Settlement: First guarantee that you will cease sending me any magazines and that I will never be charged.
Erase my personal information which I never gave you in the first place from your servers.
Explain to me who sold you my personal information.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
I will be contacting [redacted] to file a complaint for selling my personal information to a magazine subscription company without my consent.
Sincerely,
Review: I noticed when looking at my checking account last night (Oct 11, 2015) that there were charges for three magazine subscriptions. I checked the magazine last issue date and I am paid up until March 2016 according to the monthly letter they send with each issue. In their email to me this is what they state their renewal policy is (and I can forward all emails as it shows I have not erased an email since December 2014 as I kept all their emails wanting to sell me something as well as all financial and subscription correspondence):Renewal Information: To ensure uninterrupted delivery, your subscriptions to [redacted] and [redacted] will be automatically renewed when they expire. You'll receive an e-mail renewal notice, in case you wish to cancel the renewals before your credit card is charged.I have NEVER received a renewal email from them (why would I, my current subscriptions don't run out until March 2016).I have called their number and was put on hold five times today, then disconnected from M2Media Group with Blue Dolphin is a branch of and Blue Dolphin has no phone number. The issue is that they never contacted me about renewal (as stated in their own policy) and since I did not know this was happening, I paid bills early this month. I'm now disabled and make very little money anymore (and I refuse to get government help instead waiting until my Social Security is available for collecting which is not until next July). My checks that I have paid will be bouncing today and tomorrow. It will take me months at 30.00 per check bank fee to pay these off (if they will even keep my account open).Since I am not insured, I pay all medical and prescription prices out of my own pocket. I now, have no money to pick up my prescriptions. This company went against its own policy and did not notify me or give me a choice. Come January and February, I would have renewed...but not renew four months ahead of time like they forced on me.Company: Blue Dolphin Group AKA M2 Media Group.Desired Settlement: I will need this company (Blue Dolphin Group AKA M2 Media Group) to immediately refund these subscriptions, plus any bank fees accumulated from trying to deny charges, cancelling and getting a new debit card and fees from bounced checks after showing that these unauthorized charges caused a domino effect because they charged me five months ahead of the end of the subscription without notifying me of this. Since my bank is closed today, I can do nothing about filing a denial of charges.

Response:
Hello, I would like to notify you that for complaint case #[redacted], that it should be closed. I spoke to Tiffany in their customer service after being provided with a phone number for them by my bank. She cancelled the renewal for the three subscription and when I checked my account today, they have refunded the charges. I do think on their website that it would be advisable to furnish a phone number for Blue Dolphin. It would make it easier for customers to contact them. I did receive two emails from Blue Dolphin explaining that I no doubt missed their email. I didn't miss their email as it was not sent. I always checked my Spam and Screened email boxes to make sure an important email does not mistakenly get shunted to those boxes as I don't like to miss anything as I don't get many emails. I did not make this mistake nor did I erase their emails that were in my Inbox as I have not done this once since December 2014. It was no doubt a glitch in their system where emails did not go out. BUT, I do believe that a renewal for a subscription that ends in March 2016 should not be charged for in October 2015. To me that is jumping the gun a bit. But, I do thank them for being honest and refunding. Please close case [redacted]. Thank you, [redacted]
Review: On 11/12/12 I ordered a subscription to [redacted] magazine and have still not received a single issue of the magazine.
On 11/12/12 I ordered a subscription to [redacted] Magazine to be delivered to my niece in Moro, IL. The order number was XXXXXXXX. The transaction was paid for with a $25 gift card bought on eversave.com, with the remainder of the balance ($4.97) being paid by my credit card. We haven't received a single issue. I e-mailed bluedolphin.com on 4/1/13 and 4/3/13 and haven't received a reply. They do not list any contact phone numbers.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a refund of $29.97. I do not wish to do business with a company that I cannot contact by phone and who doesn't return my e-mails promptly.

Review: I received a magazine at my work address that I did not order. When I called [redacted] to cancel, they said it was sent via Blue Dolphin.
I have two concerns: 1) How did they get my work address and 2) Are there other magazines that may be sent that I did not order? I had never heard of this company prior to this and I certainly did not order any magazines from them. I want all magazine orders through them cancelled and I don't want to receive any surprise bills for magazines I did not order.Desired Settlement: I want assurance that all magazines have been cancelled and there are no charges attached.

Review: I have been receiving magazine subscriptions that I did not request, and I have been trying to cancel for several months.
I do not understand how this business can have an A+ rating, after the complaints that I have read. I have been receiving more and more magazines. I have tried working with the publishers to cancel the subscriptions with no results. I have tried working with M2 Media Group to cancel the subscriptions with no results. I just sent the requests, again, today, but at this point, I think that it is almost considered a form of harassment; the magazines fill our mailbox, we continue to get renewel offers, and yet, more keep coming.Desired Settlement: I want to be removed from all mailing lists, and I do not want to receive the magazines.

Review: I have received a one-year subscription to [redacted] magazine that I neither ordered nor authorized any person or entity to place this order. I have attempted to contact M2 Media Group at the customer service number given to me by a customer service representative of the [redacted] magazine but can only reach a recorded message that provided https://cancelmag.com website to cancel the magazine subscription. I then went to the website and it asked me to provide my name, email address along with my mailing address. The website appeared unsafe/fake site with nothing to tell me it was a customer service site for M2 Media Group. Without anything official looking, I did not feel comfortable giving out additional personal information. I want my subscription to be canceled and assurance from M2 Media Group that I will not be charged.Desired Settlement: I find it very objectionable that they initiated this without my approval. I would like an agreement from the company that they will never do this type of unauthorized/ unapproved invasion of privacy. I would also like to know which retailer signed me up for this subscription without my knowledge or approval.

Review: I purchased a magazine subscription through BlueDolphine group as a gift. At the checkout page I accepted an offer for five (5) issues of [redacted] for an addition $2 on 12/23/13.
When I checked my back account there was a recurring check card purchase for $14.98 that I did not authorize. I called the number in the description and spoke to a representative. I told her that this purchase was not authorized and that I want a full refund. I was told that this was a recurring renewal process but I never authorized it. I asked her to cancel the renewal, charge and future issues. She confirmed with a cancellation code, informed me that I will be refunded, and told me that I will receive my additional three (3) issues per the $2 purchase.Desired Settlement: In addition to receiving a full refund and cancellation of any further issues I would like to know how this charge was authorized.

Review: I suddenly started getting [redacted] Magazine subscriptions in the mail. I called [redacted] who said they got my information from M2 Media Group. Who? Who is M2 Media Group and why are they subscribing me to magazines I don't read nor do I care to. This is a TOTAL violation of privacy. [redacted] tried saying that I volunteered for this. Uh, NO. I did not give them permission to do this. They clearly acquired my personal information using backhanded tactics. I called them to inquire as to how they got my information and you cannot speak to a human being. The automated system directs you to some cancelmag site. How convenient and how shady.Desired Settlement: I want to know a) EXACTLY how they got my personal information and b) I want it purged from their system

Review: I began receiving a magazine unsolicited ([redacted])in March 2015.I contacted the publisher and their Indian call center informed me the cancellation had to be completed through this business. After attempting to contact this entity via their website, phone system and another call to the publisher, I determined that the website was either malfunctioning (I could not submit the online form due to errors, and the phone system had disabled critical commands, so that you could not speak to a human or leave messages or move into other menus on the phone system. Note also, the website error stated my email address ([redacted]) was "not a valid e mail address". This is a valid address, as I have been receiving e-mail at it for many years... To shorten the story, I could not make any form of contact with this company to cancel this unsolicited magazine subscription, nor would the publishers foreign call center representative cancel the subscription.Desired Settlement: This company must cancel this subscription immediately at no cost to me, and although I have not received any billing information, prevent any possible attempt to bill me for any portion of this magazine subscription. This company must inform me of how this error was made and if other business entities besides the publisher were involved and how they gained access to my personal information. This company shall remove all of my personal information and not attempt to do business with me again.

Review: I started receiving a subscription for [redacted] several months back. I never ordered this magazine, I do not even speak, read, nor understand the Spanish language. All of the mailings I have received pertaining to this are in Spanish which has made it extremely difficult to find the contact information as I am unable to decipher the writings. I have finally come across a phone number for [redacted] and I called explaining the situation and asked how I started receiving. The woman on the phone told me it was a third party order done on behalf of M2 Media Group in June of 2013 and I would need to contact them to cancel. She did suspend the subscription as she understood that I would not order a magazine in which I could not read. I went to the M2 Media Groups website and filled out the magazine cancellation form and also inquired how they can do something like this without my knowledge. I do not recall ordering anything online as to where they would get my information and how this is even legal. I don't even speak any Spanish!!!Desired Settlement: I would like to know how M2 Media group ordered this, why in Spanish, and how this is legal. I want to make sure I will not be billed for any of these services which I did not authorize and are completely deceptive, and that this non payment will not be placed on my credit report. I will also be filling a report with the attorney general.

Review: I have gotten a lot of prank mail that is getting sent to me by someone who takes out magazine subscriptions in my my name or in a prank version of my name. The magazines and the bills for them get sent to my address, and I have to call all of them to cancel the subscriptions.
Some of them got subscribed to for me through magazine subscription services; that means that when I call the magazine to cancel the subscription, I get told that all the customer service for the magazine can do is suspend the subscription, and that I have to call the subscription service, which is not actually part of the magazine publisher, to cancel the subscription.
I was sent a subscription to [redacted], for the prank name "[redacted]," to the [redacted] address of the homeless shelter where I live. Please don't send mail to that address, which is [redacted].
When I called [redacted], I was told that I had to call M2 Media Group to get the subscription cancelled. [redacted] gave me the phone number to M2 Media Group. When I called M2 Media Group, I got an automatic voice system that told me that I had to fill out a form online to cancel anything. Of course, the online form wants contact information for me, like my email address, and I DON'T WANT TO GIVE THEM THAT!
I have gotten so many prank-mailed magazines over the past several weeks that I don't even know how many there were. I have had to call them all and cancel, so that the bills don't get sent to collection agencies. Sometimes, whoever is pranking me spells my name "[redacted]." Since I know it's not an accidental misspelling, that adds unpleasantness to this already irksome situation.
Thank you.
[redacted]Desired Settlement: All magazines that are ordered for me through this business CANCELLED, and never to get anything through them again.
Why are there businesses who can do this? How can the customer service department of a magazine only be able to suspend a subscription and not cancel it? It seems like a way to try to tire and annoy people so much that they take the subscription and eventually pay for it rather than to do everything that they have to do to stop its intrusions into their lives.

Review: On July 27, 2013 I contacted [redacted] and informed them they they had not processed my 3 year extension to [redacted]. I had already been reading online that others had been receiving their extensions and so it did not make sense that I had not gotten mine. On July 29, 2013 [redacted]'s customer service responded to me and told me that my extensions would be processed in the coming weeks. So I waited and waited and they still had not processed them. Then on August 31, 2013 I contacted them again about this and I have not heard a word from them. It is wrong to process some people's extensions and not others and it is wrong to not respond. Dear Ms. [redacted],
According to our records, we forwarded your orders to the Fulfillment House on 07/26/2013 and 08/02/2013. As of now your [redacted] subscription expiration date is February 2017. Your third order was processed on 08/09/2013. Standard delivery time/extension for most magazines is 6 to 10 weeks, depending on the date an order is placed and the publication's frequency. Some monthly magazines and those published less frequently may take a little longer. The updated expiration date will be located on your magazine label of your next issues. We have sent you a personal email regarding this issue if you need any further information.
We apologize for any inconvenience.

Review: In July 8 of this year (2013), I placed a magazine subscription order through their online magazine subscription website ([redacted]). I received the online purchase confirmation email immediately. I understood this magazine is published quarterly so even though I did not receive the magazine in the mail after 3 months, I was anticipating I would at the very least receive the last issue of the year by mid Nov or Dec. On Nov 19 I emailed their customer service inquiring about my subscription status and received 2 auto-reply emails saying my inquiry will be processed and they will email me a response. After 1 week, I did not receive any response from them so I emailed the customer service again. Again, I received 2 auto-reply emails saying my inquiry will be processed and responded via email. It is now 2 weeks since I received their last auto-reply email, and still I have not heard from them. I am not sure if I have been scammed and I am hoping by filing a complaint through Revdex.com I can obtain a resolution and warn other potential customers about their poor service.Desired Settlement: Refund or confirm that I will receive the product that I paid for back in July.

Review: Today I received a copy of [redacted] magazine, to which I had not subscribed. According to the label on the front cover, I was subscribed, since I had a subscription number. I have filled out a "cancel subscription" order on the relevant page for M2 Media Group since, as you would expect of a scam, the company makes it impossible to speak to a human on the phone. I have also instructed my credit card company to refuse payment to M2 Media Group for anything.Desired Settlement: If you could drop the chief executives of M2 Media Group headfirst down a well, that would be nice. Alternatively, it would be very helpful if you could advise this scam operation to leave me alone, now and in the future. Thanks very much.

Dear CT Revdex.com,
Re: Complaint [redacted]
My complaint has been resolved to my satisfaction. I have been informed by M2 Media Guide that the magazine subscription was free, and had been imposed on me by Shoebuy, another online company, allegedly as a perk for buying shoes from it; never again of course.
Thank you very much for your prompt and effective help with my complaint.
