Review: I have been sent a letter from M2 Media Group regarding a magazine subscription renewal that said company had renewed without my knowledge nor my consent. I do not receive magazines from this company, and I wish not to receive their services as it is not of interest to myself. The company does not have any of my billing information to my knowledge as included in the letter was their request for my "prompt payment"Desired Settlement: Reversal of renewal along with their payment request

Hello,We have automatic renewals for all subscriptions. The renewal occurs in advance to insure the customer does not miss an issue between their current order and their renewal. Your [redacted] renewal was cancelled on 10/20/15.I apologize for any inconvenience.Sincerely,Blue Dolphin Customer Support

Review: I was charged for 3 full price magazine subscriptions, which I never ordered ([redacted] and [redacted]). I actually received the magazines too, strangely enough. I called the number on my credit card bill and talked to a salesperson and told him of the mistake. He told me I would be issued a full refund in 1 week and the mistaken subscriptions would be cancelled. I have stopped receiving the magazines, but I have not received my refund. It has been 2 months since the phone call.Desired Settlement: I would like the amount of the subscriptions to be credited back to my account as promised.

Review: I have been receiving [redacted] magazine for the last 3 months. The odd thing is that I just moved to [redacted] in Jan 0f 2013. So how the company got my address and my name, I'm not sure. I've never heard of this company nor have I done business with them. I called [redacted] mag and was given the number X-XXX-XXX-XXXX to cancel. However I was unsuccessful because I was unable to get in touch with an actual person. Only an automated telephone line. I would wish to stop my delivery of their magazine, and would also like to know how they were given my name and address into their database. With all the identity theft going on these days I'm concerned about my personal information.

Hello -

In response to your note below, you are receiving [redacted] magazine as a result of making an online purchase with [redacted] The magazine was included as a bonus offer with your purchase, which can be found in the checkout process under the 'Magazine' tab. By default, the subscription was sent to the billing address used during your purchase.

There are no hidden costs, further obligations, or automatic renewals associated with your subscription. Your credit card information was not passed to us.

Your cancellation request will be forwarded to the publisher for processing. Please note that based on the timing of your cancellation you could still receive another issue.

I apologize for any inconvenience.

I purchased a mirror through [redacted] in August 2015. I opted for the rebate instead of the magazine subscription. I completed the rebate form accurately and mailed it. I haven't received the rebate. It was supposed to be processed within 6-8 weeks after receiving the merchandise. I contact M2 Media Group several times via email and they have not responded. What a waste of time and such a scam! The rebate form indicated that I was sending it to [redacted]. The form did not say I was dealing with M2 Media Group. Very deceptive.

M2 Media Group ordered magazine to be sent to my address without my permission. This is part of a scam and should be subject to criminal prosecution.

Review: M2 Media Group (M2 Mags), per [redacted], is the source of unordered, unwanted magazines being sent to me. The customer service phone number (a recording) at M2 Media) states a subscription is the result of a purchase through one of their associated companies. I do not want ANY Print subscriptions! I do not participate in "FREE" gifts from ANY source and will not approve of receiving these gimmicks. I think this magazine stinks and is a tremendous waste of paper, high gloss paper, multiple inks, and chemicals, all of which pollute our environment. M2 Mags needs to come clean and stop flooding our world with junk mail under the guise of advertising or bonus gifts to consumers. They are smarmy, unprofessional, and probably scam artists in a number of other areas of business as well and give legitimate businesses a bad name.Desired Settlement: They need to stop sending me unrequested magazines and take my name out of their database immediately. I will also be filing a complaint with the [redacted].

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

I use online sites to order many things. I have used [redacted] in the past and been satisfied with their service and products. In addition, I believe we must reduce the amount of trash we send to landfills and so I do not purchase reading material I have no interest in,. I own and use an E-Reader for books I choose to read. Had their "opt out" choice been made clear, I would have DEFINITELY opted out. I do not recall ever being given that opportunity.

Review: This "company" had no legit phone number to contact. I started getting [redacted] Magazine in the mail out of the blue. No pun intended.

I tried to find out WHO authorized this - how they got my address and so on.

I called [redacted] directly and cancelled and all they could tell me was that some company named M2 MEDIA at ###-###-#### submitted a request.

So I called that number. There is NO live person at ANY extension. They have set it up so that no matter what option you choose it routes to yet another menu - and so on and so on. That took over 20 mins.

These people need to be put out of business. I got 3 back to back [redacted] magazines and NEVER at any point OK'd this. I now have to go to some 'EMAIL in the sky" and discontinue my order. Once again no phone.

This is a flagrant display of fraud - I have no idea how they got my info and that concerns me greatly.Desired Settlement: I want a LIVE person from that company to contact me with a phone number I can CALL.

I want to know HOW they got my info and who authorized these deliveries.

I DO NOT want these call back numbers - [redacted] for they are NO GOOD. I don't want a bill from [redacted] either. If I do, there will be yet another complaint - although there seems to be many on this company already and

that concerns me as well.

Review: We did not order People Magazine. When I tried to call and find out why we were getting it, we were told it was ordered by the M2 Media group and we could not cancel. What are they pulling? Will we get charged?Desired Settlement: Just want it resolved and the Media group not able to do this.

Review: Company is auto subscribing me to magazines. I have not requested or authorized. I had to research for hours to find out this was the company behind it. When you call their number, you can't talk to a "person" and not able to find out how and when they signed me up and what credit card they are using.Desired Settlement: I want any due refunds and time spent for researching and trying to cancel the subscription.

Review: This company or one of it's contractors sent a young man to my door selling magazine. We informed the young man we are actively fighting cancer and had no money for any magazine subscription, nor were we interested.Since then we have had to change all our bank accounts as these fine thieves charged small amounts testing my cards. The police say they use a "card reader" to steal our information and rob you by using the info they gain from these "card readers"I have complained multiple times to this company that we made no order from them, nor did we want to.These people are professional crooks that do this everywhere and need to be stopped.it is sad that they would scam seriously ill people like ourselves and don't even bother to respond to emails and don't refund money they illegally took from my bank account and now have the guts to bill be for it.Please shut these criminals down so they cannot rob elderly/ill people like us.Thanking you in advance,[redacted] XXXXX

It is impossible to follow the rules when you are not the one who signed up for Mercury Magazines.

Refund my $2.00 and we can call it finished.

$2 may not be much to you but is a lot to someone like me that lives on low income Social Security, but is is a lot to me.

Review: I was charged $19.50 on my credit card for an [redacted] magazine that I DID NOT authorize or WANT. When I tried to call customer service, I was told that this subscription was the result of a separate transaction and I would not be charged, although it's very apparent I just paid for this subscription. I don't even read magazines! M2 Media Group's customer service does not allow you to speak with anyone and I want this charge removed from my card. This seems very close to a fraudulent act in my opinion.Desired Settlement: I want this charge credited back to my account (+$19.50).

Hello,

Review: I was supposed to receive a $20 rebate for opting NOT to receive a magazine subscription for a purchase I made on [redacted].com back in February. (It was my choice to receive either the rebate or the magazine) After waiting several weeks beyond when I was supposed to have received the check by, I wrote [redacted] and was told they received my request and were re-sending the check, however it has been another month now and I have still not received it. This was the first time I'd ever requested a rebate, so I know it is not that I didn't qualify to receive one, and I know their company received my paperwork due to their response a month ago, but now no one will return any of my emails or tell me where the check is. I have emailed them everyday for going on two weeks and cannot get a response and have still not received the rebate.Desired Settlement: I would simply like to receive the $20 rebate I was offered and tracking so I know it was actually mailed to me this time.

Review: Recently I received a [redacted] magazine with my correct name and address..... I never ordered this magazine. When I called the [redacted] office in New York, I was told I could not cancel this subscription because it was ordered by the M2 Media Group and it had to be canceled through them. I was given the following number to call: XXX-XXX-XXXX. When I called this number I could not get through to a real person, only to an auto message advising me to go to their website and fill out a form to cancel the subscription. When I went to the website there was a form asking for more information than I felt comfortable with providing. On the web I also found a complaint site with numerous complaints about this company, but no adequate resolution to the problem. All I want is to have this subscription canceled.... please help.

Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)

I want proof that the subscription will be canceled. I want the proof in writing and mailed to me rather than via my email address. As a senior citizen, I am tired of being targeted by scam artist and companies trying to drain me financially.

Review: I started receiving [redacted] Magazine in January 2016 which perplexed me because I never ordered the magazine. This month when I received one I immediately contacted them at the appropriate email explaining I have never ordered the magazine & it wasn't even my type of magazine. I received an email back saying they would cancel it but it was ordered by independent sales agency and it will be necessary for you to contact them. It took one time googling their name : M2 Media Group to find out it was a Scam. And, apparently they sign people up without their knowledge & if they do not pay for the subscriptions they send them to collections. I have Never had Anything to do with [redacted] OR M2 Media Group. Will Someone please help & get this magazine that I never order paid for .Desired Settlement: Please get this magazine that I never order paid for & do something about M2 Media Group & [redacted] that has to be aware since many people have lodged complains against this company. Review: I was signed up for a magazine subscription through this agency without my knowledge or consent. I did not sign myself up and when I called their customer service line I was told to fill in a form online. They have not yet cancelled the fraudulent subscription. In researching this company it seems as if most people's dealings with this company are for fraudulent subscriptions to magazines they did not want or signed up for. I feel the company should be held responsible and liable for these subscriptions. Or be shut down. It is unfair and frankly insane they haven't been investigated yet since the complaints online go back 3 years.Desired Settlement: The cancellation of the magazine subscription and for the company to be investigated and, if found to be fraudulent, shut down
