M2 Media Group Reviews (305)

Review: I had a $10 gift voucher for this company so I used that along with $5 charged to my credit card to get a $15 subscription to [redacted] magazine. I received an order confirmation email and my card was charged. This was 6 months ago and I still have not received a single issue of the magazine. I have corresponded with them many times via email and they have said they would refund the $5 (which would not even make me whole considering the $10 gift card wasted), but they have not even done that.Desired Settlement: I want the subscription to [redacted]. If they refund the $5 they are disregarding the $10 gift voucher I spent. Therefore in order to be whole I need a $15 refund or the subscription to [redacted].

Review: I was placing an order with [redacted] and was spending quite a bit of money. When I tried to submit my order, something popped up saying that I had qualified for a special offer, etc. I tried going past this offer but was sent right back to it and asked to choose up to six magazines. All this time, I thought this offer was with [redacted], a free offer because of my purchase. I finally chose the six magazines and submitted my order. Later I got a confirmation email from Blue Dolphin Magazines thanking me for my purchase of six magazines at $2 each. I emailed [redacted] right away and explained the situation, and they knew nothing about Blue Dolphin Magazines. I then went to the Blue Dolphin website, got a password, logged in, and canceled these subscriptions. The next email I got from Blue Dolphin was a confirmation of the cancellations and a notice that, even though I had cancelled the order, I could not be refunded the money. The most important fact here is that I never at any point gave Blue Dolphin any of my banking information. This means that they must have taken it from the [redacted] website where I was checking out. I have written back and forth to Blue Dolphin and can't get them to refund my $12, but more importantly, they still have my banking information.Desired Settlement: I'd like to get my $12 back, but the more important issue is that they are stealing important information, and this is something that the Revdex.com needs to have on file.

Review: On 11/10/13, I placed on order on [redacted], order # [redacted], in the amount of $62.26 after discounts. There was an advertised promotion with the order through a third party, identified by a [redacted] Senior Customer Associate, [redacted]., as well as other [redacted] representatives. The promotion was that I'd receive a magazine subscription from M2 Media, unless I completed a Magazine rebate form to opt out of receieving the magazine, and receive the value of the magazine instead, $19.95. The magazine rebate form was on [redacted]'s website, so I filled it out, and mailed it and my order confirmation to the address on the rebate form: [redacted] Magazine Offer [redacted]. I mailed the rebate form on 11/18/13. I took photos of the rebate form I filled out, the order confirmation I mailed with it, and of the stamped enveloped I mailed to the address above. I never received the $19.95. I emailed M2 Media on 2/10/14 to inquire about the status of my rebate, from my email address [redacted], on Mon 2/10/14 7:21 PM, and received an autoreply from them that they received my inquiry, but they never responded. On 4/18/14, I called M2 Media at the number given by a [redacted] phone rep, ###-###-####, and initially spoke to Dennis. He denied having any knowledge of M2 Media having a rebate/magazine promo agreement with [redacted]. He transferred me to his supervisor, [redacted], who said the same thing, and that she had no record of my in their system. She said she'd contact another supervisor next week, but it's already taken far too long, and too much effort. I should have had my $19.95 rebate long ago.Desired Settlement: A rebate check for $19.95

Hello,

Review: I am receiving an unsolicited magazine subscription from M2 Media group. When I contacted the magazine, "[redacted]", they stated that I needed to cancel the subscription with M2 Media group but there is no easy way to do so. A web search of M2 Media group revealed a host of similar complaints. Please help me to file this complaint against the company to force them to cancel my unrequested subscription. I have not "checked any boxes" in ordering other products, I cannot figure out how they would have gotten my information. Thank you.Desired Settlement: I would like first of all to know HOW they got my information, through what channels. Secondly I would like my subscription cancelled. Thirdly, an apology would be nice.

Review: On yesterday, 2/28/15, I received the [redacted] March 2015 magazine in my PO box. This morning, 3/1/15, I went online and cancelled the subscription through [redacted] where I found that the subscription was started through M2 Media Group. I went online and submitted a cancellation subscription through M2 Media Group and send the same request to their public relations. I'm being proactive by contacting you because I am genuinely concerned that this company could and did initiate a subscription for a year to a magazine that I would never order for myself without my consent. Until today I had no prior knowledge of M2 Media Group. I did not request subscription online and I have never spoken to any representative of this company on the phone nor did I respond to any mailing.Desired Settlement: I want this subscription to stop immediately. I do not want to receive a bill for a subscription I did not authorize. I want my name and address to be removed from any future mailings and magazines. I do not want any e-mails or phone calls from this company. I don't want to ever see anything come to my address that traces back to M2 Media Group.

Review: On 12/22/15 I received an email from Blue Dolphin Magazine offering a magazine subscription for $2. When I placed my order, I received an error message stating the order did not go through and to try again. I tried again and received the same message 2 additional times before deciding to forget about the deal. When I later checked my checking account I noticed I'd been charge 4 times for the same magazine and immediately emailed Blue Dolphin because they do not have a phone number for customers to call and received an email from them acknowledging their system had a glitch and they would be responding soon. To date, no one has responded and I've not received my refund which was requested in my email. This is clearly a scam to get additional money.Desired Settlement: Cancellation of magazines and a refund of overcharge for magazines due to a glitch on their website which they sent an email acknowledging.

Review: I received two magazines on September 22, 2015, from "[redacted]" and "[redacted]". I am not sure why these magazines arrived in my mail. I contacted both magazines and advised them that I did not request a copy of their magazine, and did not subscribe to their magazine at any time. I asked that they please cancel the subscription, and advised them that since this was not requested, I will not be paying any invoices for their magazine. By coincidence, both magazines responded and indicated that the subscription was generated through your M2 Media Group, and I needed to contact them to cancel these subscriptions. I have not subscribed to these magazines, and therefore feel that this is fraudulent activity. I want confirmation these subscriptions have been cancellled and confirmation I will not be billed for these or any other magazines through this or any related companies.Desired Settlement: I want confirmation these subscriptions have been cancellled and confirmation I will not be billed for these or any other magazines through this or any related companies

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I am satisfied as long as their statements are correct and the subscriptions are cancelled and I will not be billed. I would like to add, that without some kind of notification indicating where and how the subscription originated, it sure gives the impression of fraud or identity theft. Sincerely, [redacted]

Review: This company has entered unsolicited multiple magazine subscriptions in my name, using my P.O. address as the mailing address. I have a limited amount of space in this P.O. box which is rapidly being taken over by magazines I never asked for and resulting junk mail from the subscription lists. I have attempted to cancel these unsolicited subscriptions. M2 Media Group would like me to go online and fill out their "cancel subscription" form. Since they have already invaded my privacy and misused personal information I am loath to further supply them with my email address and any other personal information. Do you see my point? I want as a resolution for this company to cease any current subscriptions they have made in my name and to not repeat this act in the future. Some of these magazines do not allow you to cancel the subscription and refer you back to M2 Media Group for further punishment at the hands of their "customer service" department.Desired Settlement: I want as a resolution for this company to cease any current magazine subscriptions they have made in my name and to not repeat this act in the future.

Review: I have been receiving [redacted] magazine to my home and I did not subscribe to it. I have been trying to see how this has come about and they say that it involves M2 Media Group. I do not know who this is and when I have tried to contact them I have not gotten anywhere. I have never been able to talk to a live person and do not want this magazine being delivered to my home as I never wanted it in the first place. I need your help and want this to stop. I don't want to be billed for something that I did not order and authorize.Desired Settlement: I want them to stop sending to my home the [redacted] magazine as I did not order it in the first place. Review: Today, 6.27.13, I received in my mailbox a copy of magazine "Men's Health," with my address and subscription information on the cover; however I never ordered this magazine. When I called Men's Health Customer service, they told me, yes, a company by the name of M2 Media Group had ordered the magazine for me, and said they had a phone number for them in case I had any questions about the stubscription.I asked them how a company like them could allow a 3rd party to order a subscription in my name without knowing whether I ordered it or not. I informed them I was an a attorney and that was fraud. She repeated the information she originally stated and wanted to hang up. So I called the number for M2 Media Group - XXX-XXX-XXXX. Of course it was completely automated and would not allow for human contact. The info stated if I had any questions or wanted to cancel my subscription I should get in touch with their website: www.m2mediagroup.com, which I did, because on their recording, it stated my credit card was not charged. That implied they had my credit card, which of course is theft!!I was only allowed to e-mail them, which I did and asked how they had my credit card, and why I was receiving a magazine subscription I did not order. They replied they received my e-mail and it would be answered in the order it was received!!!!!!!!!Of course I have not heard back from them, and am very worried they are using my credit card (but I don't know which one!) to buy other services for me, under my name, which I have not ordered.I am beside myself about this and worry for my financial safety.I have received no other feedback from this company. Please help me...I have no where else to turn.

This company needs to get in touch with me immediately to answer my questions and then put it in writing: This company needs to send me a letter in writing stating how exactly they ordered a magazine subscription for me, which I never ordered. They are also to state how they received my credit card information, which I never authorized, how they are using my card, which one they are using, and what they have charged, so far. I want criminal action brought against them for fraud and theft.
