Mad City did a great job on our tub and shower. They were very professional and got the job done faster than I could have imagined. Everything that we went over in the consultation was done like they said it would be. No surprises!

They installed my bathtub/shower unit without having the shower doors and not even knowing when they would arrive. Numerous calls to supervisors or even the president were never returned. This company has no customer service whatsoever. If I could give 0 stars I would. Don't let these company do any work for you...

We ran into MadCity Windows at cranfest last year and they set up a time to meet at our house to give us a quote. We knew we wanted some new windows in our house we just never found the right place. These guys went through everything with us and told us what to expect and handled everything. Upon installation day, this guy came in and went right to work. We were a little worried with there being just one guy but there was supposed to have been 2 but one didnt end up making it. This guy took out an entire patio door and huge front window all by himself, and installed both our new patio door huge picture window with precision and professionalism. By the time it was done, you wouldn't have even known that this guy was here. He cleaned up everything and then vacuumed. The seals are perfect and the trim looks great!
Now for the windows. They are amazing. What they describe to you during your quote is what you get. We have had one of the coldest winters on record and these windows may be cold to the touch but they are not freezing and they don't let in one ounce of cold air. They open with ease. You can open both the sliding glass door and the windows with one finger.
We have had a great experience with MadCity windows and plan to go through them again once everything thaws out and we would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a professional company to install their windows and doors. We definitely recommend David to do your quote as well :)

Our experience with Mad City began with a very knowledgeable sales personnel from Mad City, Ryan A. We knew it was time to replace our harvest gold bathtub which we had already painted and that paint was chipping off. We wanted to replace the outdated tub with a walk-in shower.
Ryan was able to show us options on his computer. It was great to be able to see what our choices would actually look like. We could view and decide on the color of our shower walls, placement of grab bars and even placement of the shelves and shower seat if we wanted one.
We were told that installation would only take a day (we found this hard to believe). We were shocked to have only one installer show up and promptly on time! He was very professional and said he would be done by 5:00 pm that day. He worked deligently all day, even having someone from Mad City deliver a window framing kit so he could continue to work. He had the job completed, all tools and supplies and mess cleaned up by 5:15 pm that day.
He kindly refused help bringing things indoors or taking anything out of the house. He did it all!
We are extremely pleased with our experience from beginning to end with Mad City. We cannot think of anything Mad City could have done to make our remodel better! Super company to work with ??.

I love my new tub! the installation was great, the installer was exceptional, stayed till the job was done. No more pink tile!

I have a window installation contract with this company that I signed on 11/28/18. I was booked for services on 01/21/19. They sent out their installer, a Caucasian male, to work on the windows. He said he was from Mad City but did not give me his name. I showed him the three windows that were being replaced. I stayed upstairs in one of the bedrooms while he went downstairs and said that he was going to get the windows from the truck to install. I told him if he needed any help to come up and ask me. Three minutes later, my phone rings. It was a young lady, a representative of Mad City calling to reschedule my appointment. I asked her why since the installer was here. I ran downstairs and he indeed was gone and left my door wide open. She told me that he had left since he had another appointment. I asked her how is it possible that he had another appointment when I was scheduled from 1pm until 5pm. She did not know and told me she would call back later. She did call back and said he took a picture showing a small computer desk in front of one of the windows that he was replacing. I asked why did he not notify me so that I could remove the desk. She did not know why he had not notified me or why he left. She then had another representative from the company call me and he apologized about the situation and that they just wanted to reschedule. No one knew what was going on or why the installer left other than he allegedly had another appointment. The second representative asked me what was the next time I was available for the install. I responded that the very next day was fine, Tuesday. He said that when the installer came, if there was anything that needed moving, the installer would take care of it. Which begs the question, why didn't the first installer move that little desk? No one came Tuesday. A week and a half later, the first representative called to make an appointment and asked if they could come out on Friday. I told them they could not because I was working. Someone was supposed to come last Tuesday but no one showed up. No one else called during this period of time. They said that they would call me the following Monday. All the while no answers were being given about the problems with the first attempted install. There was no phone call on Monday. Then I get a message from this shady company that I owe them $500 for a storage fee for the windows sitting in their office. The windows that were supposed to be installed in my home weeks before that weren't. The same windows that the installer just left with without any explanation. How am I getting charged for storage when the install was not completed due to their person driving off and I am being ignored and not being given an answer by anyone in this company?

When we call to confirm installation the following day. We tell all customers that we need furniture moved back 3 to 4 feet back to give our installers some room to work. Upon arrival nothing had been moved away from the window. We at mad city can't move a clients computer desk that is still 100% connected. We called the client to let them know that we would need to reschedule. We have been calling the client since 1/22 to reschedule. We finally got ahold of the client again and tried to schedule for 2/1. The client declined that installation date and said he would contact us the week of 2/4. The client never called us on 2/4. We started to call again to schedule the installation. The client would not respond to our numerous calls or emails to schedule. On 2/13 we sent out an email and mailer of a storage fee. Since the materials are here and the client wouldn't contact us to set up installation. We are still trying to contact the client to this day to schedule their installation. Any documentation the client signed was given to the client during the sales appointment. If their copies have been lost. They can request duplicate documentation from us at any point. We will gladly produce any duplicate documentation that they request. Mad City will not be canceling this contract. We will continue to try to schedule the installation of the clients windows per our contract.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

1. They had three windows to install. Why was I not asked to move the small computer desk while the installer worked on the other two windows? What was the real reason he left and then didn't bother to tell me and left my door open?

2. They never contacted me about rescheduling after the 31st of January. They sent one text prior to this filing and they sent an email about charging me the storage fee and they only called today AFTER this complaint was filed.

3. I do not wish to do business with these people. I want this contract terminated.

Regards

We have phone records of us calling 23 times after the date stated. We have a legal contract with the client to install these windows. We will not be canceling this contract. We will continue to try to schedule the installation of the clients windows. To fulfill our end of this contract.

This company sells a product and service they do not stand by. I paid $15,000 for a walk in shower that is not what I was told it was going to be. I have been working with this company to get resolution for 5 months. each time they come to my house they create more frustration. I can not even paint my walls in the bathroom against the shower because they used unpaintable caulk and made a 1/4-1/2 caulk line on my wall that I can't paint. They had us try different things so we could paint, costing us our time and more money. they told me they were going to come out and take all the caulk out, but when the repair man got here he told me he was not going to do that. I expressed my concerns to this person and he was very rude at first, until I had to get a little upset with him to get my point acrossed. he gave me a better option, which I took and then what he did was just so unprofessional. My husband spent 3 hours again trying to fix the mess he created. I have called the owners and they just send me back to the *** I have been talking to for months. I also have a shower bar that is 2 different tones of oil based bronze, which they came out here twice to fix, they just say " that's how the come from the manufacturer. the shower install was a custom, so why it's my shower bar. I also have a missing piece on the base of the shower and when I talked to them they said, well your wall is crooked. so they caulked it with transparent caulk and caulked it to my trim on the floor. We can not even take the trim off now to paint because we will rip the caulk off. Each time they came back to my house the installer was very disrespectful of me and my home. I just wish we were given the product and service they promised. For the price we paid for this we should not have to do all these repairs

Mad City Windows and Baths sold this customer a custom shower install with a life time warranty. We stand behind our product and install with the warranty we provide. We have been working with this customer to resolve their issues with the complaints listed. We are working with other manufactures to see if there is a possibility of getting a different shower rod that will be a better match for this customer. As for the caulk we were not made aware the customer was going to paint after the install but as our warranty is we have been willing to come out each time to address the caulk issue with them so they may paint and will re caulk after the paint has had time to dry. Our installers are very professional and tried explaining that some parts of the install come from a manufacture which we have no control over the customer refuses to accept this answer. Mad City has given this customer the service they were promised as it shows we are still working with them to satisfy their complaints. We will be reaching out to them once we have a resolution on the shower rod situation to try and resolve this case. No discount will be issued.

[Please type your response here.] we were not aware that Mad City Baths was working with their manufacturer on a new shower rodI do not understand why we had to tell them we were going to paint after the install either. It shouldn't matter when we were going to paint. Each time I want to paint my bathroom, I would have to call them.just doesn't see very efficient. I can not believe that this happens to all their customers.as my husband and I were working to get our bathroom ready to paint, we found all the imperfections of this install and are just trying to come to accept this because what is done is done.I was also told at the sales pitch that the salesman would come out to our house and make sure that we were totally satisfied. I am still waiting on that also. I wish the sales people and owners should alittle more interest in probalems with the company. But I guess they got my money and that is all they care about.I would love to send all pictures of have taken of this project to the owner to use it as a training tool.my question to anyone at Mad City Baths…... Would you accept this if this was your home that you spent 15,000 on a project thay you are not satisfied with???For all the time and frustration that we indurred during the last 6 months, I am asking for a discount on my purchase.

Regards

The last item we are waiting on is the new shower rod to come in to work on satisfying this customer. We received notice today that we should receive it with in the next few days and at that time will inspect to make sure the colors of the 2 sections match. Once we know for sure that is correct we will call the customer to set up service to install and address any other issues the customer may have at that time. All other points the customer has made have been discussed and has been made aware of where Mad City Stands on each of them.

We are really enjoying our new bathtub and shower. The installers did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. We loved the one day install!

We recently had a full window and patio door replacement. We were deceived by the salesperson Brian M by him stating that the installers would gut the walls around our windows and put all new insulation in. Pocket windows were installed instead meaning they put the new windows in without any new insulation. We were also led to believe there would be a thermal test before and after the install to show how much of a reduction in the energy loss of the windows. This was never done.
They installed new molding that wasn't finished (we had to do that ourselves). This was stated on the contract and it's technically my fault for not reading the small print, but he never bothered to mention it either.
We asked about anti-theft devices on our patio door. He told us they come standard with that hardware. There is no such hardware on the door. There are noticeable drafts in at least 2 of the windows. When I tried calling (on more than one occasion) Brian to voice my concerns, I received no call back.
The only saving grace was the installers. Very professional, answered all my questions and were very timely with their work.

Mad City replaced our entire house full of 40+ year old Anderson Windows in December. From start to finish... Matt and I have been extremely satisfied. Love the windows, and the people are great. We will definitely be working with them in the future, next project... new siding!

We Hired Mad City (Eddie B -Field Manager)) to do bathroom remodel. Contract stated would be completed in one day. Subcontracted work out to incompetent workers. Sales person stated All employees are Mad City employed only. One Day Job took three days, Still waiting for schedule day for redo of all work. Would Never hire this company for anything. Inconsiderate, incompetent and unprofessional. January 10 work started. Completed on January 12. Made mistake using these unsympathetic, ruthless and uneducated contractors. Waiting for a resolution for services and compensation for work that is still not completed.

Awesome salesman great installlers put our window up all in one day. Couldn’t even tell they were there after they were done. House deals warmer already. Great job guys thanks.

Highly recommended if you need work done. Recently had a shower installed and couldn't be happier. The contractor did amazing work and the final product is beautiful!!

I would recommend this company for your bath remodel. I love my new tub and surround. The guys that did the work were very knowledgeable and friendly and explained to me what they were doing as they went along. The work did take more than a day but that was because of a plumbing issue not on their part. I also saved money due to discounts and other options that other companies would not offer. Great choice.....very happy!!!

Fast service. A little pricey, but worth the money.

Mad City did a great job on our tub and shower. Very professional and service was fast.

Great product. install man was very good!! so far so good.

We had our tub/shower replaced and could not be happier about it. They did an excellent job and were fast and extremely friendly. I would recommend them to anyone who was looking to upgrade their bathroom.

Our salesman was great. Everything he told us seems to be accurate. We had quite a few problems with installation and the windows in our living room had to be redone. It wasn't pleasant to experience freezing cold weather in our home during January but the windows seem to be working. I will not be able to check completely until after our Wisconsin freezing cold weather goes away and then I can do a complete inspection to make sure everything is working properly. The sales team was kind and helped very well to get the windows fixed in a timely fashion. Finance team was understanding and kind.

Overall very impressed with the quality of the work done in my home by the folks at MadCity. Work was done in a timely manner and the contractors were all very respectful and tidy! Can’t wait to have more work done!
