Overall very impressed with the quality of the work done in my home by the folks at MadCity. Work was done in a timely manner and the contractors were all very respectful and tidy! Can’t wait to have more work done!

GREAT COMPANY, GREAT PRODUCTS AND GREAT PRICE.

I am the daughter of *** and ***. My dad is currently in the hospital and my mom is staying with him. I wanted to replace their carpet for them. As I tore up the old carpet from the living room, I noticed the floor boards were rotted underneath the windows. No big deal, I thought. Started to cut the rotted section from the floor under the window and the issue was much worse than I thought. It's as if the windows were not installed or insulated correctly and every time there's precipitation, it flooded into the walls through the windows. All of the support for the windows and walls are covered in mold and rot. It falls apart just by touching it. I had called my mom and asked who they had come to replace the windows. She told me Mad City Windows. So I called them. I was curious about their warranty policy. I told them I was calling on behalf of my parents. Gave them my parents names and the address to the home. They found it in their system and told me the windows and work had lifetime warranty. They listened to my complaint and then was told someone would contact me within 48 hours to schedule a date for someone to come out and look at the damages. No one contacted me within that time frame, so I called them back. Was then told I needed to email photos of the damage. No problem, I took plenty. Then was asked if I would like to schedule for someone to come out by the 25th or 26th or February. Keep in mind, I first contacted this business asking for help on the 4th of February. After I told them of how terribly moldy things are and rotten. Not to mention, the house needs to get finished in a timely fashion. There's holes rotted to the outside, and it's the coldest part of winter. I could not accept that date as it's much to long to wait breathing in mold and trying to keep these damages insulated. I had asked if there was a manager I could speak with and was told she was out for the day but would look at my pictures the following day and call me to discuss an earlier eta. I was supposed to be contacted yesterday. I have not heard anything. I just want this resolved.

They were very nice and efficient I used them twice already and will use them again!

Very much enjoyed working with their rep and install team. They worked with me on finding the best options and getting the best pricing available. Install team was swift and made the experience enjoyable. Look forward to working with them again in the future!

Excellent customer service, quality product. I believe you get what you pay for.
Mad City was the first window company I had tried and I decided to go with them. The salesman was knowledgeable and worked with me until I was happy with what I could afford, and until he made the sale (didn’t take no for an answer). Windows were delivered and installed timely (1 day installation), and I love them. Every call I had made, whether it was to the store itself, to the installers, or salesman himself-- was handled courteously and professionally. Salesman even suggested some
side opening windows that saved me some money. I will be paying for them for quite awhile, and if I sell my home I will be set, and in the meantime, I get to enjoy them!

Early in the spring of 2018, a Mad City salesman from Madison came out to the house to give me an estimate to replace my siding. At the time I was getting several other quotes to replace my siding. The salesman informed me that the other siding companies did not compare to his product. Some of the other siding causing cancer or will not withstand strong winds. A discount to post a Mad City sign in the yard during the installation process, never happen. A discount of like 90% off labor. The salesman pressured me into signing a contract with so many promises of discounts that never happen. He also took advantage of me being a single mom and made me feel like I was doing him a favor if I signed the contract. I paid over 30,000 for siding, about 10,000 over the standard going rate. I have three issues with the construction that I have been trying to get resolved over the last 6 months. The most resent representative was fired. I continue to contact them locally and get no response. I still continue to get emails for free gift cards to fill out customer reviews. They are trying to bribe customers to get good reviews.

Mad City will send our *** out to inspect the installation. Our *** will then develop a resolution for the installation issues. So that we can create a timely resolution. He will be trying to contacting the client in the next 24 hours via phone.

Were on time & completed work in timely manner. Am very pleased with my walk-in shower.

I would not recommend Mad City Windows for any home project. I’ve been asked to write a review by them twice now, even though our project is yet to be completed. They started our project over 3 months ago. Initially we were told that the installation would take only 1 day. The first day they came to start our sunroom window replacement, they quickly realized that the windows that they ordered were the wrong size. This is after they ripped out the screens that had been in place previously. We were told that they would need to come back when the correct sized windows came in (which we had already waited over a month for). They then came back about a week later and used the same windows (which were too small) and tried building an extra trim to fill in the area. The trim was so poorly built that you could see spaces in between. We let our project manager know that the work was not acceptable. He was nice enough to come back another day to work on the trim, but unfortunately this did not work either. It was then decided that they would “wrap” the windows, which thankfully looked nicer. This process was completed over multiple days over a few more weeks. The last piece of the project was to fit panels over the wrapped windows to cover the screw holes. The parts were damaged and we were told that they would order new ones and be back to install them. Weeks went by and we heard nothing. When I reached back out to them, our project manager had been told the job was done and no one had ever ordered the panels. We are still waiting for these to be placed. Did I mention that the “windows” that were installed aren’t actually windows? They are tight sheets of plastic. We had originally been quoted an outrageous $18K to have the screens in our porch replaced with windows. We just wanted something to keep the weather out to protect the room. When we told them that was too much, they offered us a cheaper “vinyl” window option designed specifically for this kind of project. We believed the window trim would be vinyl, but instead it was the plastic window that we received. It would have been nice for this to have been communicated to us. So if you would like to waste over a week of time off of work to watch your windows be installed incorrectly, I would recommend going with this company. The only reason for the 2 stars is that our project manager apologized that this had happened and acknowledged that he was “unimpressed with the crew assigned to this job.”

We highly recommend Mad City siding...the work was done professionally from beginning to end. The house looks great!

They were quick and did the job great. Only thing that bugged me was the wood lining they put around the windows were not fully even. Very knowledgeable and the windows are keeping the heat in!

Overall, I am very happy with my Mad City bath remodel. For my project, we removed the builders grade tub/shower combo and replaced it with a walk-in shower. I love a bit more space I gained and how easy it is to keep clean. The install itself went very well, and was completed in one day. The installers were respectful of my home and I appreciated that runners were put down over the carpet and my garage where some of the work was done was cleaner afterwards than before! The purchasing process was really easy, too. My consultant was super responsive and allowed me to change my finishes from chrome to oil-rubbed bronze and it was no hassle to do it. He was available via text which made communication really easy and timely. My only complaint is that Mad City only does remodels and not new home work. I am in the very early stages of building a home and would love to have this kind of product installed in my new home. Highly recommend. Well worth the value!

We enjoyed the salesman. Wouldn’t have purchased the windows if we didn’t like his pitch. He did say it would take only one day-which I should have known wouldn’t be the case. In reality my husband and I had to take of closer to 4-5 days. Can’t recall exactly it’s been a few months. Also, expect people who smoke to find a way to smoke even though again, I was told that was not going to happen around my house. Oh well. Windows are nice for what we paid. There were hiccups along the way to get to nice but we are happy now. All the service men were pleasant to work with. So far winter I’m Wisco has been mild but the windows seem to make a big difference.

Mad City recently installed 13 Valley Brook windows and a new roof on our home. Overall we are pleased. I couldn't coordinate the new gutter install with installation of the new vented eaves. The old gutters did not go up well don't drain properly. There is also some damage to the new drip edge.
Mike W, the roofing manager was great and went above and beyond with his crew. He was on sight for most of the project and did some extras including roofing a small shed that was not in on the deal. After the new gutters go up, I am confident that he will see to it that it all looks good.
I dealt with several sales and office people who were all pleasant and knowledgeable. Calls were always returned and scedule was kept.
Window salesman was a little pushy and prices were higher than we anticipated, but you do get what you pay for.
I would certainly use them again. Tom and Lila P

Mad City installation was fast, clean, efficient, and painless. We ordered 6 windows and they’re terrific. The team did a great job and were all very polite & had no problem answering our laundry list of questions. There was a portion of rot on one of our window sills and they cut it out and put in a new sill which was really great. Nice service, smooth sale process, and a nice product.

In October 2018 my husband, David, and I contracted with Mad City to rip out our current over-sized tub and install a walk-in shower (ref. 162068). As promised, the custom-ordered materials arrived late November and a Mad City installer promptly took three days to install it. We felt the pricing was fair and are extremely pleased with the design, materials, craftsmanship and installation.

I work in the medical field so I understand microban. the tub and surround will never mold. best product out there. Plus it has a dbl lifetime warranty. in and out in 8 hrs. my house built in 1910, the pipes also replaced with new copper.

The job hasn’t even been finished. I still have a in floor heat register that is laying over the vent. Aside from that the company has been back once to fix leaks. The windows still leak and ice up on the inside of the window. When the hole was cut in the exterior brick of my home for the sliding door that was installed, it was not cut in a straight line. Everyone that sees this notices it right away.

I would recommend Mad city for Bathroom remodels .Our
installation was done in one day. Even with things torn out right to the studs we could use the next day. Quality of everything seems to be top notch and the warranty can't be beat. Hopefully you get what you pay for since this was not a cheap project. Eric did a good job with sales pitch don't like the high pressure sales but we were ready to get job done and from time of sale to job done was just a couple weeks! Thanks MCWB!!

The salesman was very knowledgeable and personable. I was a little skeptical on the windows until after installation. These windows are really doing the job. I noticed this morning snow sitting on the middle sash of the windows. This tells me that the heat in the house is not seeping out at all. The scheduling and installation team was very quick. They moved me up two weeks and were done in about 8 hours. Very clean job.
