Sir: We have looked into your complaint and, unfortunately, without a determination from Fiat Chrysler Auto (FCA) that the vehicle isn't performing within specifications, we can do little as a dealer, as this vehicle is repaired under the direction and approval of the parent company that built it While we understand and appreciate your situation, there appears to be nothing wrong with the transmission itself, rather, the vehicle isn't 'hill-holding' via the Hill Start Assist feature as expectedThis feature uses the electronic braking system to prevent roll-back (or forwards) on hillsIf the gas isn't applied in a timely manner, the system treats the driver hesitation as a purposeful choice and allows the vehicle to release the brakes We would be happy to try and have FCA look at the vehicle again, but that appointment would need to be pre-arranged with Kelvin, our service manager###-###-####We appreciate your business, but cannot override the suggestions and opinions of the manufacturerWe could not risk our customers safety or a voided warranty that might result

I respectfully reject your offerI am not sure that you understand that the car is faulty and not safe to drive
I brought in the car on occasions and every time the car broke down my family was in the carMy family life is worth more than one months payment as a resolution
Getting another car from your establishment is out of the question
Major World and Ford has held my car hostage for days today and I was told the car will not be ready until Monday October *** which leaves without a car for more than days
Your establishment has refused to provide service receipts on what they did on the car
Everyone is worried about the financial part of everything when I am explaining that we do not feel safe to drive in this car anymore, no one should be driving this car
The only resolution I want to give this car back to Major World and get a full refund back
Your car is bad
Your service department is bad
Your general managers are bad
That is the only solution that is on the table on my behalf

*** *** As per your inquiry, I have researched the matter and I enclose paperwork from your deal folder that seems to tell a somewhat longer story:One of the reasons you paid 'more' for your vehicle is that you were 'upside down' (loan $ > value) of your tra(an Malibu) of
$5,000! The CARFAX and Autocheck provided to you at time of deal discloses an accidentMultiple disclosure docs with your signature support that you were made aware of same at time of purchase. Despite these discrepancies, we would be more that willing to honor the full travalue of your vehicle, if you sought to purchase another vehicle from our lot(see paperwork provided for details.) Be advised that your current loan includes $5k from your old loan, yielding a situation where you may (again) be required to finance that negative equity in your next loan or require a large down-payment. I would be happy to arrange an evaluation of your current vehicle, if you desire oneA retraction of your present complaint is expected and would be greatly appreciated. We have had an opportunity to review customer's complaintOur reply is as follows: I would be happy to discuss transaction with *** ***Please note, however, that the accusation being made (that the customer was switched into another vehicle after agreeing to purchase a more expensive

Even that I signed all those papers it was never disclosed that the car was involved in two previous accidents and I believe that's fraud.

my major concern isn't the fact that I was lured into the place to see the vehicleits the fact that I entered search filters that are on the website to make my decision easier and when I saw a car that I was interested in that fell into those filters, I was told that the website had a glitch and that the price advertised wasn't correct, which I highly doubtthe reason for my doubt is because I have entered the same exact options on different occasions and the results came up the same every time.

It is my understanding that only a BMW authorized dealership can correct a recall campaign issue. The customer's car has been taken to a BMW dealership and, to the best of my knowledge, a rental vehicle has been provided to minimize the inconvenience.I would appreciate it if the customer would have the courtesy of calling me so we can sort out a best solution, as the complaint has changed from the originalI was asked to help, a solution was offered (and accepted)I'm not sure what else could be done other than ensuring the customer's vehicle is repaired (and there's no indication that the recall issue is presently affecting the performance of the vehicle) and that a replacement vehicle is provided to minimize the inconvenience.I can be reached, anytime, at *** *** *** to discuss and fully resolve.Thanks, *** ***
