Major World Acquisition Reviews (194)

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is unsatisfactory.  However, a full refund of my deposit to my bank account is still pending.Sincerely, [redacted]

Please be advised we are looking into the matter. A few quick questions for the customer:1. Is vehicle presently operating? Is there a 'Check Engine' Light on now?2. Are there any issues that I would not find on the Repair Orders already for work done to the vehicle?3. Has the customer had the oil...

(or any other service) done to the vehicle while he has owned it.  I will likely not get to this before the New Year, however, I welcome customer's calls after Tuesday, January *. ###-###-####.  ThanksEric K[redacted]Corp Compliance

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[redacted] I am not sure what is there to appreciate about this situation. I most certainly do not appreciate any part of it. As I mentioned earlier, your business did their absolutely poorest by not providing me with the requested information. Regardless of the amount of the loaners, your business failed to walk me through and share at very least the phone number for [redacted] or any other next point of contact. I did not ask your employees to give me a loaner. I asked them to provide me with the proper details so that I could do what any person in my situation would do- contact proper phone numbers, fill out proper paper work and get a loaner while the car I lease from your business is being repaired yet another time. This issue is not about loaners, but the attitude towards customers. Additionally, I do want this to be addressed: I created a service appointment, took a day off from work, brought my car so it can be repaired. Your service said it was repaired, but right after that I had the EXACTLY THE SAME ISSUE. I do not understand how this fix should not have been bumped in priority, since it was your service that did not do their job. Instead I was told by everyone at your business that I gotta wait a week due to few other cars in the queue and there is nothing that could be done before then. This experience will definitely repel me from any future business with Jeep not because of the car, but because of the poor service I received. There is certain level of trust being put on the business that provides a car lease, especially in the moments when I [redacted]PAY[redacted] for the car that is not worked as advertised. This is a sign of bad faith from your business that reflects further on the entire brand. My son is leasing a Jeep as well, but after going through this experience neither of us will continue our business with you. We will also make sure to share this experience with the community we are involved in our full capability.

[redacted] appears to have signed a number of documents, indicating that she was aware of the vehicle history. its history prior to sale. If she'd like to arrange an appointment, she can do so through my offices: ###-###-#### Eric K[redacted]Corp Compliance*Please be advised I responded through this system on 4/**/16. I had no idea that it had not 'gone thru'

We will take a look at the complaint and the service records of the above vehicle. If the customer would like to contact me directly, I can be reached at ###-###-####. Additionally, any estimates or outside mechanical work would also be helpful to have before discussing same. (fax:...

Sorry, just waiting on signed copy of attached release.I cannot electronically transfer funds, but I would be willing to overnight (via [redacted]) a company check to an address of customer's preference. Thanks, [redacted]

We are presently looking into the matter. It does appear that all paperwork is in order and the deal itself was negotiated on monthly payments, not total price. Our customers and their impression of us are very important to our business, so we take each complaint very seriously. Thanks for...

bringing this to our attention. I will be sure to get Mr. M[redacted] back to you as soon as possible to, hopefully, resolve the complaint. ThanksEric K[redacted] [redacted]

We contacted them several times and have bought our car to their service area which they said nothing wrong with it however our own Machanic in which  my husband right there under the hood with him as he is pointing stuff out I'm not talking to any middle man I want to speak with the owner of this place.

Please be advised that our customer service personnel (Ms. Liz R[redacted] at the showroom - ###-###-####) are aware of the issue. Unfortunately, union rules and a holiday weekend mean that the vehicle cannot be seen until at least Tuesday.Any loaner vehicle would have to be approved through Chrysler...

itself. The customer can set up a complaint with [redacted]'s customer service #s, so that by the time the vehicle comes in next week, there might be a head start on the approval process. We apologize that more cannot be done at this moment, however, we would be more than happy to assist next week. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.Eric K[redacted]

[redacted]:  The 'credit inquiries' you mention are not actually credit inquiries at all. The notations on your credit report indicate that Major has marketed to you as a result of information (specifically mailing addresses) purchased by Major through [redacted]. Note that, other than your...

name and address, Major has no access to your personal information and this has nothing to do with ID Theft or other criminality.   I have attached information on the [redacted] marketing program, which also contains info on who you can contact to get on the 'Do Not Disturb' list for this type of marketing. This would be the only remedy for this issue, as there are no 'credit inquiries' to remove.  Regards,   Eric K[redacted]Compliance[redacted]

[redacted] is welcome to call me directly to arrange drop-off and return of leased vehicle.###-###-####According to our records, the vehicle was leased 4/**/12 for 39 months, so it is not due back for a number of months, perhaps leading to our staff's confusion. Thanks, [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Major World Chevrolet was being very dishonest with the prices of their  cars. When I wanted to discuss the price of certain cars, Johnathan M[redacted] would find a reason to walk away and avoid answering the question. Johnathan would be gone for about 40 minutes at a time and when I would ask someone in the showroom where he is they would say " they don't know where he is ". On December **, 2016, my family and I were at the dealership for 7 hours. Around 8:37 p.m he approached me and said they are preparing the car. When they were done preparing the car, I noticed that there was no msrp sticker on the vehicle and I asked him where it is and  he told me, " it doesn't matter I'll give it to you tomorrow when you come " which he never did. There were two yellow receipts and he gave me the yellow receipt that hardly had any information on it. The yellow receipt that he gave me didn't even have his name on it. To this day I still dont know the actually  price of this vehicle I put money down on  because I never seen the msrp sticker. I'm denying Major World Chevrolet response because of Johnathan M[redacted] lack of honesty and his genuine behavior to me and the situation. I feel like I was lied to and taken advantage of making the purchase of this vehicle. To this day he has not responded to any of my phone calls or even made an attempt to call me back about the situation.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Sir: I'm sorry you feel the way you do. I am available to discuss or provide guidance if that is still what is required of the situation. Thank you for your business and I am deeply apologetic for the perception we have created for you and your customer experience.Regards, Eric K[redacted]

We are looking in to the matter right now. As a policy, any vehicle that has left our property for more than a few moments is not simply accepted as 'returned'. This policy stemmed from a series of parts stolen from purchased and quickly returned vehicles years ago. Mr. B[redacted] was already...

extended a courtesy when Major exchanged his first purchase (a Ford Escape) for a different vehicle (a Toyota Venza). When Mr. B[redacted] has his title for the Venza, we would be happy to accept Venza back on trade as below. (Please note that when we sell a vehicle, we process the title immediately. When customer does a quick 'exchange', we have no title for the returned product for months - NYS title processing takes up to 3 months -  therefore it cannot be sold for those 3 months. That is why we will not extend the same courtesy twice.) In this case, I'm certain we can arrange an exchange of vehicles. Generally speaking, this new transaction would include credit for wholesale value of vehicle purchased, as well as credit for corresponding taxes already paid in first transaction. We appreciate the consumer's patience and Mr. B[redacted] can call me at the number below to arrange an appointment after his title arrives. Thanks, [redacted]###-###-####

I contacted my lender [redacted] who contacted the dealership to explain that I was indeed approved for the initial amount presented. The lender then told me that the dealership then added an additional $1K on top of the amount at which I was quoted at which originally was approximately $18,400. I don't understand why the price keeps fluctuating, why the title was not available and how I'm approved but not

I will try to move the refund process along as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, new rules as a result of prior fraudulent transactions have been confusing for both our staff and customers.Thank you for your patience and undeerstanding. If there are any questions or you'd like to confirm the...

We would be happy to help in any way we can. I will have more information and, hopefully, a proposed resolution shortly.First, I must take a few days to locate and review the customer's file and verify the condition and disclosure of the vehicle at the time of sale. Thanks,[redacted]
