As of today, the check has not arrived. The previous responses indicate a refund would be oases to the credit card. It seems like a lot of dishonesty. As I have stated in the past, this can only be resolved when we receive the refund.

Customer spoke to our Regional Manager Mike, we have the car scheduled to come back so we can take a look and determine what exactly caused his transmission issues. Mike will work with the customer to resolve this issue. thank you

Our Regional Manager, Joe, reached out to the customer and we are going to reimburse the customer the costs of the TPMS they had to pay for at the dealer. Customer is satisfied with this resolution and we are happy that we could resolve their incident! Thank you

Customer was mailed a $300 check from our corporate office to his home from us on 9/*/2017. Thank you

Regional Manager Rich spoke to customer again and we are going to be reimbursing the customer for the difference of the wipers which is $50.00. Customer is happy with resolution! Thank you

Mavis took ownership of this incident immediately. We were and are still happy to replace the customer's motor with a comparable one. Customer has a lawyer who our Regional Manager, Rich has been in direct contact with. We are awaiting to hear back from the customer's lawyer at this point. Thank you

Upon investigation by our Regional Manager and Director, it has been determined that the services that Mavis/STS performed were completed safely and properly. Mavis/STS will not be refunding the services which were accurately completed on the customer's vehicle. Thank you.

[Your Answer Here I never said that mavis did not cause the bearing issue. There is more then the bearung. I was never informed the first 2 times about metal showing in tires, or about the bearing. The fact the new rotary was warped and had to be replaced. The phone call with Jack was quick to settle. Why would I want a gift cert. I will never take my car there again. I did speak with Carissa. However, I was offered a store credit to use at any of their locations. While it is not acceptable, I was making no headway with her.I have not received the check for the 'credit' but I have no desire to visit any of the Mavis stores for service and will take my business elsewhere.A satisfactory outcome is a refund of the service I was charged for and some sort of restitution for the rebate on the shocks.\Bottom line - the store credit is not acceptable.

 The business did send a secondary invoice and it does list our vehicle but does not outline in any way the work that was completed or comment that the original invoice incorrectly identified our vehicle. Instead the new secondary invoice merely refers to work order #[redacted]. The challenge is the original invoice has a work order # of [redacted] and was invoice #[redacted]. We request an amended secondary invoice that references WORK ORDER [redacted] AND INVOICE #[redacted] AND clearly states original work order/invoice misidentified vehicle work was performed on, accurate vehicle is 2013 HONDA PILOT  EX-L and the Installation of 4 Cooper CS5 Ultra Touring.

Mavis has taken ownership of damage to the customers bumper. Our Regional District Manager, Ariel, contacted the customer and has since arranged to have the bumper repaired on October **, 2017. Mavis will also refund the customer at the store for the cost of the balancing and alignment of the tire....

Mavis sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience. We are happy that we could resolve this for the customer and hope to do business with her in the future. Thank you.

The business claims that I didn't contact them, which is not true. I notice fault in there services the very day I received my car, after test driving it. I went back immediately to have the problem fixed, but the manager took his slow time to resolve my issues with the car not being fixed, even after explain to him that I am moving out of state in a day or two. The manager also made me feel uncomfortable by discussing my matter with other customers that came in. In result of the insult I received from the manager, I explained to him that I am very disappointed in their services and because of his actions I am not comfortable with the company taking care of my car. I also explained that I wanted a refund as I requested for my keys and left. I followed up the next day with a call to the Tire shop to have a refund, they told me to call another day for the manager, which I did. except the manager was off that day. I tried contacting them a few times after, but I was put on hold a lot of times or told to call back. At this point I was living in another state, so I was not able to go into the tire shop to face them with my issues after the date my car was fixed. I am requesting a refund because I am now living in another state and cannot take my car into the tire shop for them to do what they were suppose on do on the day I took my car into the shop.

 I was never contacted with respect to this complaint. Moreover, I bought my vehicle in to get the muffler replaced, but they could not complete the job and installed a temporary part. Why didn't they realize that they could not perform the full job prior to working on my car? So basically I paid money for a temporary job, which was later done the right way by Meineke at a fraction of the cost!! I will furnish copies of the invoices during the court proceedings.

Mavis again cannot confirm any of this customers allegations because we never had an opportunity to see the vehicle again. We would have been happy to have the customers vehicle checked at any of our Mavis locations and re-did any necessary work free of charge given the opportunity. Thank you

 Yes indeed I did open the fuse box to see if I could see a broken fuse. I was not comfortable moving forward because I am not mechanically inclined  brought it in to have the radio fuse checked by a mechanic. The car was driven there without an issue and never able to run again after being driven into the bay by the professional mechanic. Yes I was told they said the jump 3 week earlier caused an issue. This could not have been the case because the car never had an issue with not starting from that time on. Also the car had just passed a state inspection without any issue at all. If there are tapes available then it will be clear I was told the fuel pump fuse had cause an issue with the engine not being able to be recognized   They continued to inform me that the car had blown 28 codes which meant there was a major problem. My question was what did you do to the car to blow 28 codes when the car was just driving without an issue. They did offer to have a dealer look at it but I had to tow it there and the cost was on me if it wasn't Mavis's fault. The cost to us for the evaluation on a car the now has 28 codes seemed like a waste of time and money when they made it clear that we brought them a "broken" car. We figured we would cut our losses because the diagnosis seemed so deplorable   We posted the car on Craigslist for parts and a dealer immediately bought the car. Within 5 min of him returning back to his place he sent us a note that the car was running along with a video. He told us Mavis took the relay out of the fuse box. He informed us to"please do not go to this place anymore. The car already runs.this is horrible. They are a bunch of thiefs"

Regional Manager C[redacted] explained to this customer that there are challenges with aftermarket parts sometimes and we understood her frustrations. She had our store location order dealer parts and authorized a rental car for the customer while the repairs got re-done. If there are any further...

resolved because:

I have NOT expressed satisfaction to a regional district manager. I was given a refund for towing and the faulty oil change. The bases of my complaint was not getting a reply from Mavis on replacement of a NEW, not used, engine or a three year warranty on the existing engine. A one year warranty on the existing engine was offered but not in writing. I entrusted this business with my vehicle without any mechanical issues and am left with uncertain damage that can only be assessed by dismantling part or all of the engine not by just basic pressure test which is all that was done. I no longer have a reliable vehicle due to careless work. A simple oil change has caused significant hardship and frustration.
