At this time, I have been contacted directly by Mavis Discount Tire regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

repair, plus give me a voucher for my troubles, and I should go to the shop on Tuesday.  When my fiance went to collect the reimbursement he was told by Mr. B[redacted] that a voucher would be issued for all - which is NOT what is stated on the saved voicemail.  He informed my fiance he needed to confirm our mailing address and it would take a week.  A voucher is unacceptable as it does not repay my limited income father the money he laid out for the repairs.  Nor does a voucher cover the charges against my credit card for the rental I required to retrieve the car, which he also promised I would be reimbursed for.  Not to mention the fact that it has been more than a week and no correspondence from Mavis has been received by mail, email or other.  Today a new representative called and left a message on my voicemail that I should reach out to him.  I returned his call and left him a message on his voicemail, telling him when I could be reached.  I have not received a return call at this time.

We have in our records the customer calling us on 4/**/2017 at 11:14 am expressing his concern that the alignment we did was never done correctly because the dealer told him that they supposedly noticed his front left lower control arm was "loose". He then went on to mention that he was upset that they broke his lug nuts in his wheels and his rims were scratched up (even the the customer was warned that damage may occur and told us to go ahead and do it anyway.) it was at that time that the regional rich authorized that the alignment would be re-done and that he could bring the car in at his convenience so that we could take a look at the scratches he was speaking of.

Our Regional Manager Stephen has spoken to the customer and we have sent out a refund check in the amount of $86.39 to customer. This is resolved thank you!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: I called the store in Oneida NY, was told if I took my car back there they would fix the problem, I told them I was not comfortable as it should of been done right the 1st time, 16 tire weights were taken off my car that is like 4 weights per tire so the guy doing the job didn't have knowledge of what he was doing, RED FLAG as to why I would return to get the problem done right. Mavis did review the documents attached that the customer provided that show his alignment was not "in the green". If customer can please provide us with the receipt for what he paid for the alignment to be re-done, Mavis will happily reimburse him those costs as we stated in our previous response. If customer has not yet had the alignment re-done, we can have a different location of ours re-do the alignment free of charge. Thank you

 Mr S[redacted] and Mavis are misleading and lying. They have not tried to make any repair nor have they made an offer. They say they have an engine but go no farther with taking the next step in the repair process. This is twelve weeks and nothing has been done.

Our Regional District Manager, Jack, contacted the customer regarding the issue with the service. During the conversation with the customer, he acknowledged that the original reason he brought his vehicle to Mavis for was successfully repaired. The customer was upset that he had a bearing issue...

after, which  unfortunately, had nothing to do with the original services. As a customer courtesy, Mavis was eager to help the customer so we offered to waive the cost of labor for the bearing and have him pay for the part. The customer declined and had his bearing services performed elsewhere. The customer is aware that Mavis was is in no way responsible for his bearing and since, had his bearing repaired elsewhere. Mavis would still like to extend a $100.00 service voucher as a customer courtesy. We appreciate the customer, and hope to continue business with him in the future. Thank you.

Madison Discount Tires explanation of the events are categorically false. The quote, which was forwarded to Revdex.com yesterday, clearly indicates that the cost estimate was to have the resonator replaced. I also received a cost estimate just in case they could not salvage the muffler. I agreed to these terms. However, Mavis decided to replace the muffler system and then realized that the catalytic converter part along needed to be repkaced. At this point I was told that they did not have the part. The damage was already done since they could not reinstall my muffler without a temporary part. So why did they begin to dismantle my muffler system without performing a complete exhaust system analysis? Why should I have to pay for their mistake? Mieneke took care of the problem with no problems. I have the documentation that proves what I am saying is true (Mavis price quote).

I dropped my wheel off at Mavis on Saturday 9/**/15, location manager stated that he will be sending my wheel out on Monday 9/**/15 for repair.  How can I be satisfied when I have not received the wheel back yet?

We unfortunately cannot alter a invoice that has been printed. Mavis had the store create a new invoice referring to the customers original invoice, with the correct information. We have emailed the new invoice to the customer. Mavis tire sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience.Thank you.

[redacted] returned to us on 7/**/2015 to have the brake flush in question done free of charge. The car was looked over by our location and all the rest of the brake work was inspected and found to have been completed correctly the first visit. If the customer would like to contact us at the...

Mavis corporate office has tried numerous times to reach this customer with no success. Mavis was able to obtain an estimate for this customer's damages in the amount of $962.59 from Yagers Body Shop. Mavis is still more than willing to have the repairs done at Yagers or if the customer prefers to...

go to a different shop, which is her right, we will happily cut her a check for the $962.59. Please have customer reach out to us at our corporate office ###-###-#### option #2 so we can work out this resolution. thank you!

Unfortunately due to length of time between the flat repair and the tire purchase, Mavis is not able to reimburse the customer for his service. Our Regional District Manager offered to provide the customer with half of the amount of the service in a voucher but they refused. There is nothing further...

Mavis' response is incorrect. I spoke to Chris and he offered me the option to bring the car in for the 5th time which I opted not to return. 5 times is entirely too many times to return to correct service that should have been done correctly the first time. He then said his boss would contact me  or he would speak to himwhich I never heard from. any one  I also refused the coated rotors which they offered me, because that is not what I want and not what I would pay for. The rotors that were on the car when I brought it in were stainless steel, 4 years old and not rusted, and that is what I want. I do not have any complaints about the alignment, that is fine. I am happy with the tires that were installed they ride quite well.  My main complaint are the rotor the performance of the brakes, including the pads and the noise coming from the front end passenger side where new struts were installed. Again my request is a refund to have the brakes serviced correctly including NON rusting rotors with a performance difference. If one has their brakes serviced you should feel a difference. and Mavis can handle and correct the issues with the strut/shock on the front end.
