I am filing a letter of complaint against Chase (mortgage division) because when I first got a
loan with them the loan officer said I could get my PMI taken off after one year
After more than a year in which I saw my property increase by more than 20%, I called Chase
to get my PMI taken off my loanThe rep I spoke with said nothing else but to send in the check
and an appraiser would come outI sent $per their instructions, an appraiser came out (he
asked me twice whether I'd made any improvements and I said no)Then I receive this letter
from Chase, which I've included, stating ' ..the investor of your property requires that the
increase in property value (must be) as a result of significant improvements you made on the
property-"
So I lost $when Chase already knew and/or neglected to ask me if I'd made improvements
I want my $backI have had a checking account with Chase for years and maintain an A+
creditApologies for not submitting this complaint soon
I refinanced a loan thru Chase initiated in Aug I paid a $fee initially for a home appraisal Chase continually delayed the until months had passed and we still had not closed on the mortgage re-fi Because so much time had lapsed, Chase charged me a 2nd appraisal fee of $because the 1st appraisal had since expired We finally closed on the mortgage in April G*** *** (check spelling) from Chase Mortgage called me on 5/10/from ###-###-#### and apologized for the length of time it took to close the mortgage and that he would request a refund Here we are on 5/22/and no resolution
I sent all of the supporting documents to Chase on 5/18/ Here's the response from Chase They just don't get it:

Mortgage payments are being made and the bank puts them in a ghost acc making it seem I am late and not applying it to the balance of the mortgage
J.PMorgan Chase Bank for the past years continues to take my monthly mortgage payments and putting them in a ghost acc that they call suspense acc and do not apply the moneys to the principal nor the interestAll this makes it seem like the acc is not only past due but delinquent and late fee continue to be accruing every month I have open numerous cases within the company and everytime I call they have no idea what in the world I am talking aboutwhen I tell them to go back to their so call recordings or read what was inputted in the system they say they cannotjust telling me I am late and need to pay every payment its says it will be applied and although my monthly payment is only $my balance have reached over $in the past with a risk of not only putting me on foreclosure but also affecting my credit payment historyI
