Guitar center order
Order#GC1***
I have waited over a month for my order now! I knew it was back ordered when I placed the order, but was told it would be in by weeks and since it was back ordered it would be sent day express shippedWell weeks went by and I sent emails corresponding about status: at first it was it will be in stock soon then it was that it was in stock and my status was in process and then it was that it showed released and should be sent anywayI have been watching the website and it has shown in stock and ready to ship on my model for over a week nowI called customer service and spoke with different reps that agreed it should have been shipped already! Meanwhile I missed out on some opportunities for a gig last Friday due to the equipment still not showing up? Last I spoke with different twos in the phone was Friday afternoon about 1:30pm and again at 4:55pmThe last assured me that he saw the problem which he didn't explain what it was but

Why I will Never Shop Here Again!
I've been going to this store for years or more, mostly because of a guy who now works at the El Cajon storeI've spent thousands and thousands of dollars here on instruments, amplifiers, sound systems and accessoriesThe last guitar I bought there was a Taylor with a soft-shell caseI've never trusted soft-shell cases but I figured, Taylor - what could go wrong?, right? After using it or times, the handle just tore offI'm an old manI'm not rough on equipment, so it wasn't abused, it was just cheaply madeSo I go back to this store to see what they could doBeing a long time customer with a significant sales history I thought they would give a new case, or at least a fat discount on oneBut no! This young kid named Presley brought out a couple of cheap, flimsy hard cases, one of which was already broken, and both were way too big for my guitar, and he quoted me full retail price, $120! I'm like, dude! That's your best offer? Did you look up my sales history? Then he just looked at me with a blank stare and said, "sorry - that's all I can do." So I left there, drove an hour out to Taylor, and they gave me a brand new hard-shell case - free! I didn't ask for that, they just did it cuz that's how they rollAnd that just shows you the difference between genuine customer service and a retail outlet that really doesn't give a rip about you after the saleNever again

I purchased a used Peavey IPRpower amplifierWhen I received the amplifier, I set it up and turned it onOne channel (A) was making a loud "hissing" sound with no signal applied to the amplifierAfter a few moments, there was the distinct smell of something burningI immediately turned the amplifier offI waited about minutes and tried again with the same results

I ordered pianos for my classroom a week ago and I received and e-mail this morning telling me that my order had been cancelled There was no explanation as to why it had been cancelled So I called and they told me that they were no longer selling the type of piano that I had ordered I asked them why they didn't just ship me another type of piano instead of cancelling the entire order and they told me they weren't at liberty to do so I told them that since I worked for a school and it was the end of the year, I wouldn't be able to place another order because the time for that had cut off I asked them again to just ship me something else and to use the money from the original order and they continued to tell me no So now my students are without pianos for next year because they waited so long to let me know that they aren't selling a product that I was able to order off their website

I ordered, through the Guitar Center website, a used "Blackstar" branded HT-amplifier head with a HTmodel speaker cabinet (commonly called a miniature "halfstack," as it was described in the ad.) for $+ $in shipping on 04/05/@ 07:PST
One day earlier, 04/04/16, I called the Sacramento branch it was sold out of to ensure that it came with the HTspeaker, to see if it came with a footswitch, and to confirm that it wasn't too badly damaged It was confirmed to have the speaker, not have a footswitch, and had no significant damage
On 04/05/@ 13:00, I called the shop again and confirmed that they received my order and again confirmed that it was two pieces They confirmed the order, and indicated that after payment was processed, they'd send them
On 04/06/16, presumably while packaging for shipment, I received a call to tell me that it would only be one piece, the amplifier head I initially cancelled the transaction with that news

Bought a new guitar online for $onlineIt took almost weeks to be delivered and when it got here it was in a different brand boxOpened it up and the guitar is clearly used - no OG box or packaging, no documentation about the guitar, the pickup is mounted crooked and the condition looks lightly usedAgain, none of the protective materials that you can see if you look at this product unboxing videos on Youtube for comparisonChatted with customer service who could barely be bothered to communicate with meAsked for a supervisorHe said noAsked for a call back from one since the system wouldn't transferHe said sure, tomorrow, goodbyeI then called the 1-number and the girl there also could barely be bothered to help get a supervisor on the phoneAbout an hour after initializing the first chat I finally get a supervisor on the phoneHe says he can't do anything other than a full refundProblem is, I actually wanted a guitar (funny, since I took the time to put a

I went to Guitar Center to repair an amplifierInitially they took my amp, said it was fixed a few days later (along with about $200), and I took it homeless than a minute into using my newly "fixed" amp, it was broken againI took it back, they charged me again, to fix it againSame problemI took it to another amp repair shop in the area and was informed that my amp was broken because of a problem that their amp tech was able to diagnose, and was told that guitar center actually took their products to this shop to be repairedBasically, the amp tech that works for GC isn't entrusted with the products that they sellThe amp tech at Uncle Albert's informed me that he has worked on numerous products for GC to sell, and that their amp tech is not entrusted with their own gearThey sold me a lie, and I'm now out almost $and with nothing to show for it

Purchased a WA90CE dreadnaught acoustic guitar from Guitar Center on 5/27/and didn't receive it until 7/12/On or around 11/1/the equipment was no longer playable and considered defective Guitar Center states they can no longer warranty their defective equipment and after contacting Washburn who states that this particular model is controlled through Guitar Center when it comes to returns, I as a customer has reached a never-ending loop when reaching out for support Guitar Center sold me the guitar and after giving them the benefit of the doubt will not help Their response is for me to go ask Washburn Washburn tells me no, there is an agreement between the two companies that Guitar Center handles these models I'm giving up and very dissatisfied with how both companies worked this out but more so on Guitar Center for not trying to work something out with me

I recently had repair work done to my Recording King RD-Acoustic Guitar at Guitar Center, Robinson PAI took it in February 16, The guitar had string buzzing and slight crack in the fretboard***, the repair tech, informed me that he was very busy and it would not be a quick fixI told him I was in no hurryAfter about weeks, I called to see how it was progressingI spoke with another repair tech, who was unable to find my guitarHe called back later to say he had found it and it was still being worked on, but that there was a sign next to it the read, “Do Not Touch”, so he wasn’t able to give me any better informationHe said someone would get back to me with an update in the next day or soThey did notI called back about weeks later and was told the same thingI called again Thursday March 29, and again was told the same thingSo, I went into the store last night to inquireNo one was in the guitar tech office, but another gentleman assisted meHe went bac
