Item I had purchased in the early morning of Friday 8/31/was sold to another customer after I had already completed the sale/purchase The item was a Peavey Renown Guitar Amplifier I was not notified until 9/3/that my order had been cancelled, when the item should have been well on its way to me by then The store made the conscious decision that it was easier for them to sell it locally then to ship the item, so my order was cancelled I called the store asking for proof and timestamp of this other sale (so I could see if it was purchased before I closed my sale), but they would not provide me with that information

I ordered items on orders and they cancelled both ordersWhat a waste of time and effortMeanwhile I missed similar deals from reputable retailersOrder #: GCWOrder #: GCWEvery time I deal with GC I wish I had not

I purchased a used guitar amplifier from Guitar Center at Sunset Blvd on 8/7/As part of this transaction, I was told I would receive Guitar Center Bucks in days that could be "used as if it were cash in the store"I received an email from Guitar Center on 9/23/that said I received Guitar Center Bucks that must be used by 10/3/I purchased two Wampler effects pedals from Guitar Center at Sunset Blvd on 9/24/The price of each of these pedals exceeded the amount of Guitar Center Bucks I was using, so I paid for the balanceIt appears as though the sales associate applied a portion of the Guitar Center Bucks to the cost of each pedal
I returned one of the two effects pedals on 10/8/to Guitar Center at West Pico BlvdThe sales associate simply credited my original payment method for the net cost of the pedal I was returning (the retail price of the pedal less the portion of the Guitar Center Bucks originally applied)I mentioned to the sales assoc

M*** *** from Guitar Center online emailed me a coupon for 20% off a total purchase of $or moreThe email was asking me to "come back" and shop with them because it had been a while since I made a purchase with themI found an item I wanted to purchase, but noted that another site had the same item for $lessI chatted online with Emily Higinbotham and she said they could match the price of $as well as discount it further to make that price include tax since the other site did not collect sales taxWhile chatting with her, I lost internet for several daysShe sent me an email with her contact information and a reference code to give any associate if she was not availableOnce I had internet, I called but she was not available, so I spoke with another associate and gave him the reference codeOnce he had the item set up in cart, I explained that I was sent a coupon for 20% off my purchase of $or more if I would come back and make a purchase with themHe said he co

I ordered an item on their online site just to be told three days later that it was not available and after getting in contact with their customer service hotline and in direct contact with the store is was being purchased from they did not want to honor the price that I originally purchased the item for

Recently on March 1, 2018, I purchased the Arturia Keylab midi controller (black edition) with Guitar Center in Hallandale Beach, FlOn the following of March 6, 2018, that same midicontroller was returned and reordered the same day, because all keys were damagedWhen my packaged arrived to the store I thoroughly checked out the product to make sure all the keys were working properlyHowever, I’ve always suspected this boxed had already been open and taped back upWhen I actually arrived home that’s when I actually discovered the usb cord was missing from the box and returned to the store where the store manager provided me with a usb cordSince that time it was basically discovered that I had to configure the midi-controller to my liking and tech-support was only done by emailThis was a huge problem for meHow could a company such as Arturia falsely advertises a product that doesn’t work right to the consumers needs, and then to only have tech support by email which not

I opened a "Gear Card" credit card through Guitar Center in Grand Rapids, Miwhen I needed to purchase items for school but didn't have financial aidAt the time the salesman said I would receive months interest freeI assumed this was on all purchasesMy first purchase and multiple purchases after that, were returned because the salesmen at the store (which any time I have been in there have only seen one woman working) would sell me the wrong item or be dishonest about anotherI returned almost everything except for a Ibanez Acoustic/Electric guitar that I purchased during a storewide sale $originally and carrying case $According to my credit card statement I have items still under the promotional period of no interestI was under the impression I had no interest on ALL purchases so I had been buying stuff for schoolSo you can imagine when I went to pay my bill I owed $700, $more than the month prior! The salesmen were NOT upfront about the interest on

Honestly, guitar center has tones of positive site factor, except this one
And this one, it the honesty of the business
I ordered a back-order item online during the end of September
During the time, there were other dealer offered a better deal on the same item
(considering, the total is about $difference and will received item in person on time)
After the few consideration, we decide purchased from Guitar Center due to the payment solution reason
When I ordered the item, the website indicated it will "available" at Oct 12th,
Considering I'll need it by (Oct 19th, 2016), it will fit the our need on time
On October 5th, I found same item noted "In Stock" online
Therefore, I took advantage to contact their customer services to check my order status
The customer services tried to explain it might caused by system error, and told me that my item will ship out ON-TIME
I told them, as long as it can shipped out ON-TIME, it'll be fine with me

I placed an order online from Guitar Center for a Guitar that says that it is "In Stock & Ready to Ship" and would receive in 3-business daysIt also says that it will ship the same dayI ordered items, of which I received within a few daysThe third (and most important) did not shipAfter a few days I checked my order status and it says that the Guitar is backorderedI did not get any notification of thisThe website still says that the item is in stock & ready to shipI reached out to customer service at the time and they were going to check to see if any stores had any new in stock.(She told me to call back in hours when their Roseville, CA store was open and then they'd check)The man I spoke with when I called back was very rude and did not want to call the CA store for me and said he'd give me their number to call myselfHe eventually called (after also being very negative and telling me that I may not ever get my item, it may be discontinued and maybe I

Purchased online a Limited Edition Fender electric guitar, arrived without the original box from Fender, with no instruction/manual and just poorly wrapped in bubble paper, Call Guitar center to get a Manual and the person that answer it seems as it was falling sleep, and just told me to google and print one my self
VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitars/gibson-les-paul-special-pro-ex-electric-g... /> Purchased this item in-store on clearance Item indicated hard case, but store would only sell with gig bag that does not fit the guitar very well A return of the guitar is possible but I'd rather not since it is clearance and was the only one in-store Just want the case that came with the guitar

I ordered a product from Guitar Center on 2/12, on top of it taking for ever and a day for them to ship the product, I received the product missing partsAfter spending weeks trying to get in contact with them, they finally responded and agreed to ship the missing partsNow days after I placed the order, I received the missing partsBut wait, theres moreThe parts I received were for the wrong item, so once again I am back to missing key parts for my guitarGuitar Center is without a doubt the worst company I have ever dealt with

Bought piano sold as new productWhen opened at home found that packaging had been previously opened, the bags on the inside had been opened and the contents including all the cables which were supposed to be included were missingGuitar Center is representing used items as new and is removing items which are supposed to be included

About two years ago I placed an order GCWbut then I received a call from local store saying that they only have that guitar for demo so I cancelled that order at store(Indianapolis north store)Now it's been almost two years, my wife's credit card keeps showing a $pending charge from guitar center I contacted guitarcenter.com and was told that the order is still active at their Rockville, MD store and I have to call them to cancel itI called and the staff was helpful but they told me that the order is shown as cancelled at their end and they cannot do anything to help and they suggest me to call guitarcenter.com againI don't know what I can do

I financed my Suzuki digital grand piano through Guitar Center Synchrony Bank. The piano came damagedPiano weighted lbsTook movers to assembleI had to get my movers to take an extra hour to go to Home Depot to get the correct size screws(SCREWS THAT CAME WITH THE PIANO WERE WAY TOO SHORT)The screws an additional $x SIZE M16-60, special screws for the weight of the piano.Time I paid for movers to stay an extra hour is another $100.This piano is extremely heavyThe amount agreed after all this by GC staff: RAYONA C***, dated 1-15-is $2141.49, per an email which I've submitted to the bank also attached to this complaintShe had accidentally refunded me the wrong amount from the original priceMs C*** adjusted my bill to $I received my Synchrony Bank statement and it says $2469! Wrong! I wrote Ms C*** and she has not responded, so I am filing a complaint through the Revdex.comHow many other pianos had defective screws (another issue is wh
