I apologize for any misunderstanding regarding the shipment of Mr. [redacted]s door order.According to our records, the order was picked up in full on 4/ 11 /15. We have not receivedany correspondence from him since that date.I trust this file can be closed at this time.

My complaint addressed Two issues.  First, we and other customers being ignored by employees in the immediate area when we needed assistance.  Second, our friends experience with their counter top.  The response totally ignored our first complaint and focused entirely on the second (which I have forwarded to our friends).  I want to know what steps Menards management has taken to ensure that employees do not ignore customers in need of assistance!

I have attached a letter I received back in August from [redacted] atMenards (Guest Services)  I have also attached the reply I received fromthe manufacturer ([redacted]).  This reply from Midwest Manufacturing isevidence that Menards may be misrepresenting the product in theirshowroom.  They have two displays for the product.  One display is with atop and bottom rail such as the other railing systems and the other withonly the top rail.  The computer estimator must have factored only a toprail which would explain why I was short half the hand rails.  This is theonly explanation [redacted] from Menards and I could come up with.[redacted] was their employee that witnessed everything that went on.  He had theestimates I was given.  He also came out to my home to visually inspectthat all materials I purchased were used and that all measurements given tothem by my builder were accurate.  [redacted] verified that everything wascorrect.  He said he would bring the matter to the attention of hissupervisors.  No supervisor ever called me.I am not sure what happened to [redacted] from guest services atMenards but now I am being asked by [redacted] from guest services atMenards for information that [redacted] should already have had.    Since mybuilder delivered the measurements himself I am not sure if I was evergiven a copy of the estimate.  I went by the contractor services desk atMenards last week and learned that estimates are only kept on Menard'scomputers for 30 days.  (How convenient)  However, as I said before if theyare wanting to validate my honesty, they simply need to ask [redacted]before any more employee turnover occurs.  Thank you for your attention tothis matter.Attached is a copy o the original picking ticket containing the SKU's.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  There is an inaccuracy in that the rebate receipt did print, but I did finally get the rebate so I won't make a big deal about it.  The issue was their Rebate company was refusing to pay because of the exchange, even after getting documentation from the company and myself.

I am sorry That Mr, [redacted] is unhappy with the previous responses he has received. As statedpreviously, the tiller must go to the service center. There is nothing we can do without 11copy of the diagnostic analysis report. Since the manufacturer holds and administers thewarranty, the decision regarding whether or not a refund is warranted, would be at theirdiscretion.

I am sorry that Mr. [redacted] was unhappy with our previous response. However, there isnothing in his latest correspondence that would change our position from that stated in ourletter dated 7/06/ 15.

He could have returned his carpet for a full refund and received a $250.00 labor credit. His second option was to receive a $250.00 in-store merchandise credit as...

an adjustment to keep the carpet" As Is." Those options are still available. However, we cannot offer a full refund for carpet Mr. [redacted] chooses to keep.
