What about them representing themselves as [redacted] Gas??????

Good Morning, IGS show's Mrs. [redacted] son is the power of attorney for the account. The granddaughter can contract me directly if she would like to review further. Thank you, Tara C[redacted]

Our records show that there was no offer of savings or deal, as alleged in the complaint.  We have attached a copy of the third party verification audio recording of Mr. [redacted]’s authorization to enroll in our natural gas supply service at the fixed price 57.9 cents per therm for a 36 month...

term, with an additional monthly base charge. At 3:29 in the verification recording, we disclose that by choosing a gas supplier, the supply portion of your invoice will come from IGS Energy and [redacted] Gas will bill separately for their transmission and distribution charges. A copy of the terms and conditions of our sales agreement, mailed 11/18/2014; since no attempt to cancel within the rescission period was made, the enrollment was deemed valid. The account began flowing with our supply effective 12/8/2014.
Per the customer’s call on February 2, 2015 call; we processed the request for cancellation of our supply agreement.  This process can take 1 to 2 billing cycles to complete, based upon where the account is at in the meter read cycle. [redacted] Gas has accepted the cancellation and assigned a drop effective date of March 13, 2015; so the customer can expect one more invoice with our supply charges. As disclosed, the accounts will not be accessed any early termination fee and will cancel without penalty. Thank you for the opportunity to address this complaint.   Thank you, [redacted] Compliance Coordinator %3

As paraphrased in our July 9 response, this is disclosed in Billing and Payment paragraph of the terms and conditions of our service agreement. Any dispute regarding [redacted] pricing would need to be disputed with directly with the utility company.
Thank you

Not opting out should NOT be misconstrued as ACCEPTANCE of your shady scam. We are filing this with the Revdex.com against your company because our utility company says they are in no way affiliated with your business.

My response was that I was not pleased with their comments & they did not answer my question as to why they lowered my billing of budget variety so low, then jacked up my settlement to $400.00.  I still request restitution of at least $130.00 in my original complaint. They are deceiving people by lowering people's budget billing then hammering them with a big settle up month when the customer did not ask for their budget billing to be dropped in the first place.  I wish for a true response, money back and case to be reopened!Sincerely yours,[redacted]

Our records indicate multiple emails and phone conversation have transpired around the scheduling of solar panel installation, to include apologies from both IGS Energy Solar and [redacted] Energy management via direct email with Dr. [redacted]. Again, we sincerely apologize and understand how early arrivals...

of the installation, construction crew and delays from County inspectors, have caused the customer frustration. IGS Energy Solar has heard and reviewed the feedback and are working to put new scheduling procedures in place to improve future third party installation experiences.
To reiterate email communications, [redacted] Energy, [redacted] Electric and IGS Energy are drafting a new plan for the remaining steps of this project and will work with the [redacted] to set the dates for each of them prior to dispatching work crews. [redacted] Energy will be reaching out to the customer confirm third party appointment times as we move forward with the final stages of installation and they can expect the following remaining steps that are necessary, to bring the system online:
1) Rough in Baltimore County inspection.
2) Final Baltimore County inspection.
3) Install IGS Energy monitoring and metering.
4) Install [redacted] net meter, after the utility company’s review of county inspections.
5) Turn on the net meter and solar system.
As previously offered, our Operations Manager, [redacted], is available to discuss and schedule the final stages of the solar installation. He can be reached direct at ###-###-####.
Thank you for the opportunity to address this complaint,

The utility is [redacted] Power and we are the supplier; we have separate systems. You are not listed on our records as an authorized person on the account established with IGS Energy, therefore we are not able to release information to you.
Thanks,
[redacted]
Compliance Manager

Thank you for providing the additional information.   We located the established account using the phone number you provided and our records show the account is under [redacted] at [redacted] Blvd Lakeside Marblehead, OH 43440 and [redacted]@gmail.com. My Mother just moved to the address this letter was sent. She has been at this address for less than a month and the attached letter came in the mail to her. So she some how signed up for a service provider because she didn't not sign up with a service provider....hummMy Mom being 84 and confused...

about anything that comes in the mail and multitudes  of calls trying to sell her something, I find these practices, legal or not, an abuse to people who do not know any better. These underhanded practices should be stopped. Clear cut pricing by these services you are supposed to have a choice for, should be displayed plainly and in writing. Please find attached the letter my mother received and the cut off jargon page that has Peco's name on it.

The attachment reflects billing for service from December 9, 2014 through January 12, 2015. This was PRIOR to cancellation.
Service with IGS Energy canceled 2 months later, effective March 13, 2015 per the customer’s February 23, 2015 request.
Thanks,

I am replying to the above response. I have 2 complaints!!! IGS failed to reply to the fact that they/their rep. canceled my contract with [redacted] Engery without my knoledge. Plus they Igs never addressed the fact that they charged me $110.00 even though I canceled my contract with them.  I was misled by their Rep. [redacted] and was told by him that [redacted] engery would probley not send me a bill by canceling my contract with them and if they did bill me to ignore it.  My dispute with [redacted] Energy has been settled and in doing so my cost for electric needs has increased due to the fact that the above [redacted], canceled my previous agreement with out my knowledge.Thank you,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Our records
show that there was no offer of savings or deal, as alleged in the complaint.  We have attached a copy of the third party
verification audio recording of Mr. [redacted]’s authorization to enroll in our natural
gas supply service at the fixed price 57.9 cents per therm, with...

an

Per the
customer’s call on January 2, 2014 call, we processed request for cancellation

We are waiting for the utility company, SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA GAS (SoCal), to
assign the drop effective date.

Thank you
for the opportunity to address this complaint.

We have attached a copy of the third party verification call recording from January 26, 2015 wherein Mr. [redacted] authorized the enrollment of his residence in our fixed price offer, wherein at 4:25 it is disclosed that this offer may be higher or lower than the utility costs over the fixed price...

period. Additionally, we have attached a copy of the terms and conditions of our service agreement. The Billing and Payment paragraph of the terms and conditions discloses the dual billing market. Upon receipt of the terms and conditions, the customer had three business days to review and rescind the agreement without penalty. Since no attempt to cancel within the rescission period was made, the enrollment was deemed valid.
The account began flowing with our power supply effective March 11, 2015. To date we have received zero remittance and on June 17, 2015 mailed the attached notice. Per the customer’s June 25, 2015 call request, we’ve processed the cancellation of our service agreement, without penalty. P The utility company determines the cancellation effective date, and this process can take 1-2 billing cycles to complete. [redacted] assigned an effective date of August 7, 2015.
Thank you for the opportunity to address this complaint,

Thank you for providing a bill copy; we were able to finally locate the IGS Energy account using the account number, [redacted] which is reflected on the Utility bill for service to [redacted] [redacted]. My apologies for not being able to previously locate, as the Utility had...

apartment number embedded within the street number.   The Met-Ed Utility bill reflects our supplier’s charges. We forwarded this and the complaint comments on to the Market Manager who contacted out via phone to Ms. [redacted] directly and agreed to apply a ($19.13) credit to her account.   Thanks, Jodi L[redacted] Compliance Affairs

We find that allegation to be false and inaccurate. The call recording was attached for the Revdex.com’s review with our initial response. No rescission was made and no adjustments are warranted.
Thanks,
[redacted]
Compliance Coordinator
