We have reviewed the customer's claim in regards to Kohls.com order #[redacted].  We are unable to process a return credit, as the mis-ship was not due to a Kohl's error. We advise the customer to contact the residence to retrieve her merchandise.

We
apologize for the disappointment. As the address was inadvertently changed, on
December 1, we credited $172.32 for the missing items, which will post to the VISA card ending in 4621 in an average of seven days.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  I have received an email from the business which states that a credit has been posted to my Kohls credit card and to allow 7 days to post  which I was also unable to dispute the charge with.  Just poor customer service all around.  I would like this case to remain open until the full credit of $29.99 posts to my credit card.

We have processed a return for our customer. We have emailed our customer
$45.00 in Kohl's Cash which was emailed to our customer. We have also applied a
credit in the amount of $27.08 to our customer's Kohl's Charge.

I received an email this morning with a Kohls Cash Voucher in the amount of $22.51, however, the response from Kohls indicated that an "KMC" (unknow term) for $14.21 was also issued but I have not received this amount. I cannot consider this matter resolved until I am able to verify that Kohl's has honored its word and issued the aforementioned amounts.

We apologize for the inconvenience. We have processed a full refund for our customer in the amount of $55.77, which will be applied to our customers Kohl's Charge.

Regrettably, we are unable to cancel the Kohls.com order, as it has already shipped. In addition, the charges on a customer's charge card are authorizations that went to the charge card company when the customer hits "Place Order"; a customer's funds will be held for each attempted Kohls.com order,...

until we are able to systematically verify the order status. The credit card company holds these funds; however, these authorizations will drop automatically within several business days. Our records indicate there were no known system errors at the time the order was placed. We advise the customer to contact their financial  institution for further assistance.

Rather than them address the issue with their website, which has happened to me more than once, they offered me no assistance to resolve this issue and sent me on a wild goose chase with Fedex and USPS. I still do not have my items and no recourse. Kohl's instructed me to contact Fedex and USPS and both entities have advised that only Kohl's could resolve the issue. Wouldn't Kohl's want to address this for future customers or do they just not value their customers at all? Their process for package resolution is flawed and should be addressed and my items have been shipped to an address that is not mine and I have no way to get my items back.

not originate at Kohl's and are disappointed that our name has been associated
with this type of communication.
In this information age, e-mails can be fabricated and this has been a recent
trend on the internet. This practice is referred to as "spoofed"
emails. Spoofed e-mails are those that appear as if they are sent from an
individual (Kohl's in this case) but are in reality disguising an e-mail
address from someone else.
We regret any inconvenience you have experienced due to receiving an e-mail of
this type. Be assured Kohl's will continue to investigate the source of these
e-mails.
