I am happy to finally receive a refund, after attempting to get a response from Kohl's for about six months. I was not made aware that a partial credit had been processed back in August of 2017, because Kohl's never advised me of this. I only found out about it from the people at Discover, after finally disputing the charge with them, as I used my Discover card as method of payment when I placed my order. I called Discover once again yesterday, before I knew of the result of my complaint with the BBB. The person I spoke to said that Discover would go ahead and credit my account for the balance of the total amount of my original order, since Kohl's had not been willing to do so. I do not know if Kohl's was contacted by someone at Discover in this regard, and that is why the Kohl's representative is saying the amount will be refunded, or if Kohl's has actually decided to do what I believe should have been done when I first contacted them about the matter. The wording of the statement from Kohl's does not specify.Having been a long time customer of Kohl's, and having spent hundreds of dollars there through the years, I was quite shocked at the response I got from Kohl's when I advised them that I never received my order. I have shopped there mostly online, and had never reported any delivery problems prior to this incident, that I can recall. So I expected Kohl's to treat a good customer with respect,and to take appropriate action. In truth, I would have preferred to have the items I ordered, rather than a refund of my money. But no one I spoke to at Kohl's ever offered to resend the items. I realize they may not have been available any longer. But neither did I receive a full refund from them.I do not believe I will shop at Kohl's again because of all this. But I truly appreciate the professionalism and the help I have received from both Discover, and the RevDex.com. Thank you. Regards, Michele ***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below It's pretty embarrassing for a corporate office to refuse to honor commitments made by its representatives What's even worse is when the corporate office refuses to make a situation right and my mom literally walks up to a regular associate in one of your stores afterwards and they take care of part of the problem without question The grill has now been price matched and the revised transaction resulted in $Kohl's cash being issued instead of the initial $of the $that the supervisor had promised Therefore, my remaining request is as follows: issue a $gift card for the cost savings difference that would have occurred in breaking up the orders into (which is what I tried to call back & do), issue a another gift card for $for the additional Kohl's cash the supervisor advised I would receive and then didn't, and issue an additional gift card in the amount of at least $for the pain and aggravation you've put me through (the $you already issued is laughable given how much time I've had to invest and what you'be put me through)Additionally, the corporate office representative Faviola should be spoken to (although my fear is she's the one reading this) I spoke to employees at one the stores briefly about the situation and they were amazed at her refusal to let me speak to someone above her and said she was likely lying to me by saying if I wrote a letter she'd be the one receiving and reviewing it Regards, [redacted]

Our records show the desired return credit for Kohls.com order # [redacted] was processed on 11/21/15, back to the customer's VISA ending in Additionally, we have no record of the customer contacting the Corporate Office via phone in reference to this complaintWe apologize for any inconvenience

We stand by our previous statementWe would appreciate it if the customer would send in a copy of her bank statement showing this transaction cleared twice Once that is received, we can assist our customer with their concern accordingly

Currently, we have a day price adjustment policy for items that were purchased through Kohl'sA credit may be issued to the customer, for the difference between the sales price and the price the customer paidA price adjustment can be processed either in our physical store or via Kohls.com The customer should return to the store with valid receipt for assistance It is at the discretion of each [redacted] to honor promotional offers outside of the valid datesThough it is not our policy, if the customer was informed she could redeemed the promotion, we advise her to speak with the [redacted] directly Additionally, Kohls.com and our registers are only able to issue Kohl’s Cash for qualifying purchases during the valid earning periods Regrettably, we are unable to comply with the customer’s request for Kohl’s CashWe apologize for any disappointment
