Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below My complaint is not about your company (Mopro) not disclosing your cancellation policy but instead not disclosing that the work you would do, you still have ownership and will take back as soon as I stop paying the monthly fee, that was not disclosed at the initial sales call, but instead at the first call with the design representative, which as soon as I found out I requested a full refund since you had not completed any work or made any changes on my websiteYour company has been deceitful and unless I or the Revdex.com is provided with a copy of the sales call recording, I cannot take your word for itYour business practices are unfair and decitful no wonder you have had many complaints made against you on the Revdex.com, and also many bad reviews on Yelp as well as an F rating from the Revdex.comMy complaint is no longer about the money the $that you are refusing to refund but on the principle that with my complaint I am hoping to alert new consumers before they do business with you Regards, [redacted]

Hello,This concern was received as well as notice from Mr [redacted] on 1/30/that he had filed a complaint with the Revdex.com.? Mopro does require customers to provide 30-day written notice of cancellation, which is documented in the Mopro terms and can be located through our website.? Mopro, like some other website providers, creates websites on a proprietary website building platformWhile we do not own our customers content, the platform, like most other companies that provide software as a service, does not remain active for customers who cancel their agreement.? This company is awfulThey advertise their product with much info to entice you on callingWe called and were taken for a rideThese people have more training in how to scam, than they do in website designWe told that for $they would create a stunning site with all the bells and whistles and if we wanted more traffic and an increase in sales than they were the place to goI left a reputable company who hosted my site and signed with moproAfter about days I had lost all traffic, there were no sales and was given BSWhen I asked what I was paying for everymonth, I was told that I have access to maintain my site and a customer service teamI told them I was not receiving any traffic and I was told its because my domain was new and it will take timeMy domain was not new, this site has been live for yearsWhen I told them that, no one got back to meI cancelled the next day and with another companies help I was live with a new site in about hours and my site was being found again I cancelled my card and told them I was now with another company weeks later my new card was chargedMopro went directly to MasterCard and with their scamming abilities they were able to get my new number and another charge was done yesterday YOU CANNOT JUST CANCEL YOUR CARD, NEED TO INFORM YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY THAT YOU NEED TO BLOCK THEM CAUSE THEY WILL GET YOUR NEW NUMBER! Do not be fooled like I was, my site now looks great and everything works like it should for $a monthWith Mopro my store did not work, they forgot to add a lot of infoA little computer knowledge with website building helped me realize fast that this company was not legit, don't get me wrong the site looked beautiful, but whats the point when it will not be seen by anyone

Mopro doesn't not create custom content for clients We are not copywriters Mopro creates websites based on the content that we are givingIn this case, we were giving their current site to datamine During the sales call, which we have recorded, [redacted] never mentioned that we were to create a new website with new content Though [redacted] , stated that we failed to mention this, client never asked in regards to copy writing but if she did, we would tell her that this is something Mopro does not do After agreeing to sign up, client signed a contra [redacted] (please see attachment) that states clearly that clients are on a month to month subscription and should they choose to cancel, we require a day cancellation notice Also the contra [redacted] states, that all money paid to Mopro is non-refundable.During the discussion with web development team, we build a first round draft based on the information provide, which is the client's current website link, to build a foundation in order to get something started This is when the [redacted] became upset and confused this is how the process of every website starts All we did was datamine their current siteFrom there, we would start working with the client to create or revise any new content based information the client gives us We were never told that the site that they had was copy wrote nor was this mentioned at the point of sale as we have no notes informing the web builders that we cannot datamine their current site as it does not belong to client Our development team told [redacted] , that we do not copy write and that they are the experts in their industryWe can only convey that on a beautiful website platform based on what information we are given This is when [redacted] requested cancellation and a refund even though she was told at point of sale and in her contra [redacted] that she signed that we do not issue refunds The initial payment is to pay for the time and efforts we have allocated into working with her and her website [redacted] then spoke with our client care department in which she was told that we would cancel her account, waive the day notice that Mopro requires and refund her the $as we did not start working on of the sites This was a fair offer as we wanted to make sure that we offered her a partial refund on the work we have done and not done Normally we would notWe even offered to credit her account so that her next payment would be credited on Mopro Client refused, also refused the partial refund we offered

After listening to all the calls and looking through all the emails, our investigation found that Ms [redacted] signed up with our sales rep, Thuong on 4/1/She was then assigned to one of our team member [redacted] who worked with her in building her site Ms [redacted] expressed her dissatisfaction for the site that was build to [redacted] at which point, supervisor Jacob called to escalate the situation on 4/6/Ms [redacted] agreed to continue working with Mopro after having her account reassigned to a new team member [redacted] on 4/6/ Ms [redacted] and [redacted] had a scheduled meeting on 4/7/and began working on designing the site Ms [redacted] set over several requests for changes that [redacted] accommodatedOn 4/8/2016, [redacted] was given consent from Ms [redacted] to launch her site on the Mopro platform At this point in time, Ms [redacted] understood that we were launching her site and were going to wait until she provided us more content for pages that were incomplete, but were hidden On 5/2/2016, our billing department tried contacting Ms [redacted] has her account went past due (Mopro is a month to month subscription charging monthly on the anniversary of the sign up date, which was agreed upon at the point of sale) Ms [redacted] then replied to our billing stating that she has cancelled her account, yet we have no written notice or verbal notice stating Ms [redacted] is requesting to cancel Also, at the point of sale, Ms [redacted] was told that should she wish to cancel, we would need a day notice, which was never given For this her account was not cancelled until we received an email on May 9th at which point Mopro waived her day notice as her account was past due and she refused to pay for a live website in which Ms [redacted] and [redacted] worked on and launched.After cancelling her account, Mopro took down the Mopro website that we created for her as she went past due, fulfill her part in giving us days notice At this point, Ms [redacted] should have contacted Wix and direct the URL back to her previous site It is not our responsibilityIf you look at her site now, it is up and running as I am sure she had someone redirect her site as it is no longer Mopro's responsibility as our relationship had ended

We have taken action on this matter already? We have spoken to Mr [redacted] and have already resolved this issue by refunding the initial payment of $for the lack of communication and slow turn around time? Mr [redacted] even left us a yelp review with positive rating after speaking with one of our senior client care manager, [redacted] on 6/10/

The site is on the wix platform If you look at your DNS settings at http://dnsyard.com/lookup/ageducational.com/, it is no longer on the Mopro platform The website is up and running (please see attachment for screenshot of the site) As far as a refund, Mopro has provided you a service and a website that you have agreed to launch We cannot provide you a refund for a website that you gave us consent to launch We cannot refund her as we provided a monthly service and a live website which she gave us consent to launch on April in a phone call she had with [redacted] and also sent an email for her records
