The faux marble table in question was not defective but damaged. The customer's protection plan only covers damages to wood and not faux marble. As a courtesy we will pick up the customer's table to repair in our shop and return it to the customer when it has been completed.

Company Contact: Meredith D Company Phone: [redacted] Company Email: [redacted] Person Who Sent the Complaint:  [redacted] Staff Member: [redacted] Response: Consumer,  [redacted], was concerned that her [redacted] mattress was not the bed she purchased and that her bed protector was not the proper protector. I heard her concerns and discussed them with our in house representative. The representative agreed with what the customer was saying and we are exchanging both the mattress and mattress protector for the correct items. The consumer was notified and is now satisfied.

Leaves are not interchangeable with tables. They are like fingerprints and unable to be replaced. The customer reported the damages two months after delivery. The customer sent pictures showing dents to the leaf which are not manufacturer's defects. The customer did not purchase a protection plan so...

the shop repair is a courtesy for the customer. The entire table must be brought to the shop as any slight variation in the refinishing process will cause the leaf not to match the table.

The customer has received credit for the amount they paid for the chair to the store so they can pick a replacement chair. When the new chair is delivered the original chair will be picked up at the same time.

I am rejecting this response because: I have NOT agreed to accept a replacement. The replacement, for the same poor-quality item will be "$100.00" more than my purchase price!!!  Also, the amount that I was told would be a credit at Ashley, $1,100.00 was INCORRECT..  It is now $799.00.  I received a call from Meredith this A.M. and she stated she is waiting for a response from Corporate and that can  take till the end of the week. When thinking I had a $1,100.00 credit, I shopped and picked out another brand of mattress.  It turns out that choice would not happen, due to the error in quoting the credit.  She is trying to ascertain whether something can be worked out, regarding price difference.So, once again, I HAVE NOT ACCEPTED a resolution.  this claim is still open.  I had to escalate this problem on Saturday due to not receiving any kind of help from the Manager, Manny, at Turnersville Ashley.

Good evening,I see that the service technician is scheduled for service 6/25/16.

I am rejecting this response because:
At no point during the conversations was there any mention of my matching concerns being a dye lot issue by customer service and they didn't tell me that it would be considered one. They said send the pictures and it will be reviewed. The April conversation I asked about the seats and was told they'd be taken care of. Again no mention of dye lot as it was never mentioned to me until the call reguarding the delivery and even still upon delivery there was one seat repaired and one not. Customer service had no reason as to why they could do one and not the other as there was no record of the seat being fixed in the first place and it is clearly brand new.

I am rejecting this response because: L  THIS WAS A COMPANY RECALL AND SHOULD NOT AFFECT THEIR POLICY                    MY ORIGIONAL FURNITURE WAS RECALLED AND REPLACED WITH A DIFERENT RECLINER THAN WHAT I ORIGIONALY ORDERED.  WHEN THE NEW RECLINER  WAS DELIVERED I WAS TOLD THAT MY PROTECTION PLAN WOULD STILL  BE INFORCE UNTIL THE 5 YEARS WAS UP.   I RECEIVED NO NOTICE TO INDICE DIFFERNT

I am rejecting this response because:We did have a date sent for pick up today and they did not show up. I called and they said it was a mistake on their end and they will come out Saturday. They have told me I will get a refund in my account in which I purchased the furniture, I am waiting for that refund to get to me and waiting for them to pick up the furniture still.
