6/1/16 at 9:15 am. I returns her call on 6/2/16 at 2:15pm and left a message. I waited until 9:30am 6/3/16 to see if she would return the call, no response was made, I left another message. On 6/6/16 I called at 9:34am and finally reached Tonya. Tonya said she was going to put a voucher in the system to replace the chair and advised me to wait a day then go to the store I bought the chair and purchase another using the voucher. Any additional fees would be paid by me. Once the furniture was delivered they would pick up the damaged chair. I did agree to the delivery charge, but if they want the damaged chair back, the delivery charge should have been waived. I would have picked the chair up at the store.

I am rejecting this response because: we did report the damage as it first occurred which is indicated on my original complaint I was even given an email to send a complaint to and spoke with an individual in your store location and furniture service department no one ever physically even came out to look at the couches as we would have happily showing them to a technician. The damages are not accumulating it is a direct result of the material used in the couches again we called when the cracking started.

I am rejecting this response because:
It seems as though I may have prematurely accepted this response on the 16th. Ashley Furniture representation promised me a mattress exchange with the correct mattress and cover without paying any additional fees; however, the replacement mattress they sent was the incorrect mattress and coincidentally it is impossible to get in touch with Meredith D to resolve this issue since Thursday. I called and left voice messages on a Thursday, Friday, Monday and a Tuesday. Tuesday afternoon I physically hadn't into the Turnersville store and spoke to Jeanie, who then the manager (Rich), intervened. After patiently waiting for a clear justification on their end, I left the store to wait for a call from the manager. He called me back and said the mattresses won't be delivered to store until Monday to see if my mattress is in, to expect a call Monday. Meredith returned my calls on Tuesday evening around 7pm and said she would physically check the warehouse and inspect my mattress first thing Wednesday morning and give me a call to update on delivery. I understand it was a holiday week, but this waiting game is frustrating. I was told my mattress would be within 2 days, and the cover to be shipped to store within 2 weeks. I am not going to accept this until I have physically received BOTH products. As patient as I am trying to be, I think perhaps a little compensation is owed at this point. (A set of Pillows, credit towards my original purchase for all this hassle)

I am rejecting this response because:(1) While "we can not...
give a full refund as customer was aware of delay on special order items" is not acceptable to us. The vendor (Value City Furn DOES NOT NOTE THE AMOUNT "Not give a full refund " equals in dollars and cents.(2) The fact that the Vendor is saying this was a "Special Order IGNORES THE FACT that the salesperson Nicole DID NOT ADVISE US AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE THAT THIS ORDER WAS A "SPECIAL ORDER".(3) The cancellation of subject order was due to the incapacity of the merchants vendor to produce quality merchandise as evidenced by our rejection of the delivery on November 8th from the same manufacturer. (4) Additionally, as well as the instability of merchants (Value City Furn) vendor ([redacted]) to know the status of their merchandise. This is in regards to an order placed with Value City for living Room Furniture by the same manufacturer. Accordingly, we afgain respectfully request full refund of $2,983.85

I am rejecting this response because:
I am not at all satisfied with their response to this problem. I bought this sofa with high quality(According to Value city) and high price almost less than 3 years back. And now it is already pill and ripped off by itself. And now it is in state where I cannot keep it because it is looking bad and not even throw it because spent so much money on this. I am very dissatisfied with the quality of the furniture Value city is selling but saying high quality and charging high price of low quality furniture. Which did not last even 3 years. This sofa have manufacturing defect with is low in quality and discontinued even by store. And now they want to get away by showing some clauses. I do not know who is going to look at it Store Or Insurance company. But I want either repair or replace this. It is almost 3 months now I am following on this with no result and very bad experience with the customer service from Value city. And no care about consumers.
