I am rejecting this response because:
a prorated portion of the protection plan does nothing to help me purchase new furniture I spoke with a Store Manager at a local Ashley Store and although I am aware that all stores are individually owned, he has had an out of state Ashley Store transfer a store credit to his store due to unforeseen circumstances The Store Manager would need to willing to transfer/accept it If this can't be resolved through the store level, I will file a complaint with the Ashley Corporate office as this has gone on far too long

Two technicians have been to the customer's homeOne completed the repair and the other showed the customer that the padding in her furniture was the same size and resiliency as new paddingThe merchandise is up to manufacturer standardsThe technician's report reads, " AS PER BP 8/1/
Came and put cores in on sofa Customer still thinks it's sinking in even with new core Upon putting old core next to new core you can clearly tell that core is perfect No difference at all in old or new Tech asked customer if she wanted him to change out the loveseat core and she said no it feels okay Tech called value city to inform them that customer still not happy Lady at vc said this is more of a customer preference issue Tech agreesNot really much more we can do to make sofa better for her

We will replace the customer's entire table as refinishing one leaf will cause it not to match the rest of the table

The customer's furniture had a one year manufacturer's warrantyAfter the one year warranty expires the protection plan is in affectThe attached document the customer was provided with on purchase states that if a piece is replaced under the protection plan the protection plan will not continue
on the new itemsIf anything is serviced or replaced after the manufacturer's warranty has expired no matter what the reason is, the claim is against the protection planThe customer received full credit to the store for year old merchandise according to the protection plan

I am rejecting this response because it is true that we have been playing tag with phone, However the few times that I was able to speak to someone each time a different resolution was relayed to meI will accept this offer if it includes tax, delivery, and the cost of the protection plan that I had purchased when furniture was purchasedI cannot get an answer to this from anyoneEach person that I spoke to told me they did not make this decisionI had surgery days ago and this aggravation has not helped in my recuperating. I want to speak to someone in charge to confirm this resolution and would like a letter from company stating it in writingI have never had such unprofessional dealings with a business especially when spending this amount of money
