No show. No refund.
I hired Moving help from U-Haul to unload U-Haul truck. They did not show up. When I called them, they told me to cancel the services. I had to hire another moving services. Had to take another day off. Paid premium for emergency services. Paid one additional day rent of the U-Haul truck. Moving Help declined to refund my ($247.50) money. They told me to contact the movers. Movers told me that Moving Help did not pay them money. Moving help gave me a code to give movers when service is completed. Movers did not show up and I did not give them code. Without code they are not paid.

BEWARE! I missed my move date because of MOVING HELP. They are fraudsters.
I booked 2 U-Haul Moving Containers (UBoxes) on U-Haul’s website for July 31, 2020. I used movers from their website, a sister company who provides moving services, Movinghelp.com. The company I choose was D.B.P. Moving. I called the company numerous times and there was no answer, finally I contacted U-Haul regarding canceling the movers and rebooking new movers (see email).
On Wednesday, July 30th I received a notification from Movinghelp.com that for D.B.P. Movers have been cancelled and the job amount will be refunded back to me via the payment method used. They refunded me $595.95.

On 7-30-2020 I booked a different mover, AstraMovers via movinghelp.com for a move the following day, July 31st. The boxes were not ready on the agreed day. I notified them in advance that my high-rise building does not allow moves after 4pm, also the building need to schedule all moves so that only 1 resident moves in 1 day to use to freight elevator. The movers called me to notify me that the box I reserved was not ready, thus, I had to change my move date to Monday, August 3rd and pay extra rent to my building for staying extra days. My building does not allow moves on the weekend. On August 3, 2020 I received an email from Moving Help for Astra Movers in the amount of $680.35 would be refunded back to my credit card (attached).
The manager at U-Haul, Crystal DeLeon apologized for the boxes not being ready and said she was change the date and provide me a credit for $300 for the inconvenience. I was upset but decided to stay with U-Haul after they offered me a credit for their mistake.
I booked Diamond Quality Movers for Monday, August 3rd on the movinghelp.com website. Again, on Monday, the boxes were not ready in the morning at 9am as agreed upon. On August 3, 2020 I received an email from Moving Help for Diamond Quality Movers in the amount of $590.95 would be refunded back to my credit card (attached).
The New Rochelle U-Haul located an hour further might have boxes but Crystal told me they weren’t sure on the time. Because of the delay she said she would pay for the movers and booked J. Sutton Movers. They arrived 7 hours later than the agreed upon time and we barely made the cutoff to move. The New Rochelle location had boxes later in the evening and J Sutton Movers moved all of my items outside of the building while one person went to retrieve the boxes.
The manager at U-Haul agreed to refund me for the movers who were not used. They are a very dishonest company, trying to charge me $1,348.65 for a move which they agreed to pay for. Not only that, I was looking to pay $590-$680 for movers, not nearly triple the price.

I hired this company through movinghelp.com prompted by uhaul.com after making a truck reservationI pre-paid for the servicesThey were supposed to call to set up the move but never didI called them and we agreed thay would arrive in my house Saturday at am to begin the moveI had paid movers for four hoursAt 8:am I received a call from In and Out movers telling me that they were not coming because "they were tired"Uhaul said thay were not responsible even though at the beginning the transaction was originated at their siteMovinghelp.com could not be reachedFinally I hired someone local for a lot more since it was last minuteWhen I called for a refund no one would help meFinally someone told at uhaul told me to dispute the charge and told me this happens to out of customers

Damage my computer stand took more breaks than they work my self and my daughter had to start loading the truck this move was a major disaster I hired movers due to the fact that I have sciatic back pain and ended up moving my own things not happy about the service would not recommend and then after they broke my computer stand they started talking in their language where I couldn't understand what they were saying but did apologize for the damage not a happy customerI would not recommend moving help.com to anybody in Spokane Washington they are not professional movers they do not know how to pack a truck

I recently hired movers, through Movinghelp.com, to help load furniture on a truck we will be driving across the countryI initially had no problems scheduling the movers and was enticed to use a new user through their numerous discounts and benefitsWhile this seemed like a mutually beneficial scheme, it only led to me being scammed by a person, posing as a new moving service, taking advantage of the benefits that customers receive from trying new movers rather than sticking seasoned movers with good review historiesThis is an extreme disappointment because the website totes it's movers as safe, convenient, and reliable, which I am no longer inclined to believe after this experienceI was called by the mover to set up and confirm the scheduled moving appointment and the man insisted that I give him the a conformation codeHe insisted that we could official schedule the appointment without this codeI was confused and gave him the code since moving help did not give very clear instructions on the processThe man proceeded to complete the order weeks before he was scheduled and when I tried to contact him further he refused to return my callsFurther investigation revealed that the address that was listed on the moving help website was actually a hospital, meaning that the address he supplied was a fakeFor a company that tote safety and reliability, it befuddles me that they would not do any background checks or conformations of the legitimacy of the movers that they list on their websiteI sought help through the moving help website, but rather then offering to take care of the situation the instructed me to contact the mover and try to resolve the situation with himThey only went as far as sending the offending mover an email from their company and I have not heard a response from them sinceFurther investigation has shown that the mover has been removed from their website, but again I have not heard anything from moving help and don't feel like I willI was very disappointed that they did not make any offers of reimbursement and felt like they didn't really care about my bad experienceBecause of these things I will not be using moving help again in the future nor would I recommend their services to anyone else

Movinghelp's website states "You are in complete control of your move! Our moving labor does not receive payment until the moving services are completed to your satisfactionOnce satisfied, simply give the Moving Helper the Payment Code and let us do the rest!" However, I was charged by one of their movers for services I requested, but never utilized Their explanation was "your charged right away for placing the order 4/23/7:PM EST" Had I not been vigilant about checking my credit card statement, this charge may have gone unnoticed I would certainly use this services with caution Does not seem to be very secure or work as they claim
