A refund for the Driving service has been issues as it was not performedAny additional restitution would need to be pursued directly through the Moving Help Service Provider as the Payment Code was provided and funds were releasedwilliam a [redacted] **unit cArvada , CO 80005###-###-#### - Cell [redacted]

The order in question was cancelled and refunded per customer request on 10/and the refund was issued back to the original card

FYI, my lawn and driveway, which were damaged, is the property that I am concerned with Also, I contracted and paid Moving Help, not the subcontractorThey original told me that their subcontractor was supposed to contact me within days, the subcontractor did not do so The subcontractor sent an inexperienced and incompetent driver, he could not handle the trailer and damaged my property

This company does not help to resolve complaintsWe were charged $for moving a piano, and the movers did not move oneNow they will not help us get the refundThe movers were horrible - many broken and scratched itemsWe got no help from movinghelp.comInstead, they kept putting us on hold for absurd amounts of time

The order will be cancelled and a check reimbursement will be processedIt should be received within 7-days

Hi, the customer's card did not pass AVS (address verification) twice due to an incorrect billing address being entered, so the first charges were automatically voidedThese will show as temporary authorizations, but typically fall off within a day I assume that they have been released by the customer's bank back on 8/or 8/

The movers hired through this site were very careless with my belongings and completely unprofessionalThey were hrs late then took their time with the move because they were tired from working since am that day and when they packed my storage they literally threw my things in the unit damaging many items like my $bike and $computerThat's just what I have found so farWhen I notified the moving company MOVINGHELP.COM they suggested I try to resolve it with the movers (WEST LOS ANGELES AFFORDABLE GIANT MOVER GUY) when I replied back that I had tried that first to no avail they proceeded to have the horrible moving company that damaged my belongings contact meLong story short Movinghelp.com has no system of resolution for this type of issue other than to speak to the people that damaged your belongings to begin withAlso they have no system of accountability or screening of moving companies added to their websiteI'm filing a complaint because I don't want anyone else to be fooled by paying a company to move you means your move will be less stressfulYou will be better off picking up a couple of guys from the uhaul truck pick up

This is a despicable outfit that purports to be a division of U-Haul They go around the web and post advertising in the form or reviews for other companiesWe engaged them to load and unload a rental truck and they causes thousands of dollars in damage to our furniture They use unscrupulous labor and ask customers to sign ridiculous agreements that hold them free of responsibility for damages Run as far away from this outfit as you can It would be better to hire a real moving company to provide loading and unloading service

The business' response is ridiculousIn essence, they state that since they only operate a website, they bear no responsibility if a mover does a terrible job (or does anything else wrong, for that matter), and they will make no effort even to contact movers about legitimate complaintsIt would be one thing if they were not profiting from business conducted on the website, but they are, so this is outrageousApparently they think this complaint can be adressed, however, by simply stating that they "consider the matter resolved." Here is a comparison that I think brings out how frustrating this is: Imagine that you (moving help) purchase an item on ***, and discover that it is defectiveYou leave negative feedback for the seller, and contact the seller requesting a partial refundUnfortunately, the seller refuses to respond to multiple requests, and when he ultimately does, he screams profanity at youSo, you contact [redacted] and ask for helpBut, [redacted] tells you that it is just a marketplace, that it has absolutely no responsibility for your problem, that it won't contact the seller, and that it "considers the matter resolved." Would you be satisfied with that, knowing that [redacted] made money on the transaction? I'd think notI'm not asking moving help to reimburse my entire payment or anything remotely like thatI'm asking them to work with me to help me get a partial refund from the mover whose service was inadequateThey really can't even do that?

This is by far the WORST company I have ever worked withTo begin, the website wouldn't accept my debit cardThe account linked to the card had no issues with itI called customer service and they told me that it was my banks problem, not theirsAfter phone calls (I was hung up on twice)I decided to confirm my billing address with my bankThe bank confirmed I had the right addressOn this phone call the bank notified me that this company charged me times and then reversed the chargesI ended up making phone calls to customer service because I was either hung up on (mostly by [redacted] )or disconnectedThey also wanted to charge me for entering my information in the system (which takes a total of minutes..they are taking advantage of their customers)I felt I should be refunded the since the website was the problem and not meI was told this wasn't possibleAfter finally making progress with [redacted] we were disconnectedI called back requesting to speak with herThey told me that they could not transfer me and that I have to continue to call back until I reach ***After finally reaching [redacted] she tried to enter my information into the website and then the website stopped working for herI had been on the phone with these people for hours so I asked her to call me when it was completedThe next day I didn't get a call so I reached out to themIt was never done by [redacted] or her manager as she promisedI worked with [redacted] the next day and she was actually pleasantShe told me that my order was never entered in the system and that she couldn't waive the She also informed me that they can't make outgoing calls, therefore no one intended to contact me to tell me movers had been booked for meI asked her to speak with a manager but this failed because there are no managers at her locationShe had to message them and the manager never got back to herAfter minutes on the phone I hung upThis company lost my businessI have NEVER been so furious with an organizationThey deserve to go out of business

The funds were released to the Moving Helper on July 26th, The customer's release of Moving Help's Payment Code authorized the Moving Helper to get paidAt this time, the customer must seek compensation through the Moving HelperBelow is an excerpt from MovingHelp.com's Customer Agreement: eMove operates the MarketplaceThe MarketPlace is a Neutral Venue and Online Clearinghouse: the Moving Helper(s) do not work for UsYou acknowledge and agree that the Moving Helper(s) are not Our employees, agents, representatives or independent contractorsYou acknowledge and agree that We do not do any type of background checks of a Moving Helper nor do we do inquiries into the work history, criminal history or character history of a Moving Helper nor do we do inquiries into whether a Moving Helper has any or all applicable licensure, insurance(s) or permits that may be necessary to perform the ServicesTherefore, You acknowledge and agree that We cannot guarantee nor do We have control over the quality, accuracy, standard of Service, safety or legality of the Services provided by the Moving Helper or of the Moving Helper itselfYou acknowledge and agree that We only operate a web siteYou acknowledge and agree that any and all communications, correspondence, verbal or written, or any warranties or representations, made with regard to the Services and the Moving Helper are not provided by Us and are specifically and solely between You and the Moving Helper [redacted] MovingHelp.com considers this matter resolved

Why should the helper absorb the loss by cancelling the order despite of rendering services & Why is it so hard for the company to accept that this could have been handled better rather than blaming the helpersInconvenience was caused by the company with poor guidanceA simple instruction or message to helpers asking them to deliver the u box would have made everyone's life and work easier instead of pulling out chat transcripts and reading line by line and telling me how I should decipher the same Goodluck with your unfair business practices

Working with this company is a waste of time and moneyThey wasted my time and money by not addressing website and phone technical difficultiesOnly to be told after hours of time investment on my part that they couldn't make my reservation which I needed by the next day

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Regards, [redacted] ***

It states on our checkout page, Please note: Moving Helpers do not provide rental trucks or suppliesAt no time to we offer a truck as part of the service.I apologize if the customer was confused otherwise, but we can not offer compensation for a service we do not make indication to offer

Moving Help is a hard to reach, unreliable business Scheduled movers are subcontracted and Moving Help claims no responsibility for ensuring their arrival I had to re-schedule in a panic with a new mover (which took hours being shuffled between [redacted] and Moving Help) Then, I was charged upfront for the move (moving from a dwelling in one city and then moving into a dwelling in another city), then again for each piece of the move Awkward small credits and charges for those pieces posted to my account after the initial charge, making it difficult initially to see their process of charging for the serviceWhen I disputed the charges with MovingHelp, I was told they can only view the last three months of payments processed (I should note the charge was within months) Finally, I simply disputed the charge with my credit card companyMy advice is to hire your own movers and deal directly with a Revdex.com certified company

As I told Revdex.com (phone, written complaint, 12/response), this complaint is against Moving Transportation Specialist, an independent company in [redacted] MovingHelp.com is a REFERRAL SERVICE TO INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORSServices for Moving Transportation Specialist (617-470-7809) were booked/confirmed 10/6/to load a moving truck on 11/19/at 8amServices were booked online via [redacted] Moving Help and confirmed via telephone with [redacted] at Moving Transportation SpecialistServices were again confirmed via telephone on 11/18/with [redacted] at Moving Transportation SpecialistConfirmation for movers to meet at Boston address at 7:30-7:45am for 2-hours to load a truck from an apartment [redacted] informed me that they were double booked and would be able to provide services earlier than contractedI agreed and needed to pick up my truck at 7am to accommodate their scheduleMy contact information (cell phone numbers) were confirmedMovers never showed upTHERE WAS NO DELAYI placed 5-calls to number provided and left voice mail messagesMovers never returned my callsBy 11am, I contacted another moving company - I had NO flexibility to change the move, and incurred an incremental $for the new moversAfter other movers completed the job, I contacted [redacted] Moving Help and they refunded my paymentDesired Resolution: I would like Revdex.com to research this company to see if they are legally registered to provide these services and post this complain so others will not hire themI would like Moving Transportation Specialist to refund the incremental $I needed to spend on services contracted with themI would like Moving Transportation Specialist to contact me with a formal apologyI would like [redacted] Moving Help to discontinue any relationship with Moving Transportation Specialist

I signed up with this company who billed for a moving service called [redacted] The confirmation page for my payment says to contact them at the phone number above, which was ten zeros! So, I tried to look them up on Google, and they do not come upSo, I tried to contact MovingHelp.comand they do not have a phone number listed under contact us, you have to send a "message"There was a button that said live chat, so I tried thatThe message there said a rep named " [redacted] " would be helping me shortlyFive minutes later, "she" asked how she could helpI explained the situation, and never heard anything else from her! After four minutes of silence, I asked if she was still there, and the chat endedSo, I clicked live chat again, same message saying " [redacted] " would help me, then immediately it changed to [redacted] has ended the chat! So, I tried again, and no one ever clicked on, no message saying anyone would help me! I called my credit card company and started the process to reverse the charges! I am really surprised, because Uhaul's name is also on the home page of movinghelp.com! And I read all those wonderful reviews, which now I know were fake! I should have looked for a company that is Revdex.com accreditedI've learned a painful lesson

DO NOT USE I reserved a time for pickup at my storage facility in May "reserved" the timeThey called the day of to say they would be late, I said ok, a few hours I can waitI waited hours, no problem hours comes and goes and another call, they will be later, hours?? I said never mind, I don't need you in hours I need you nowI MOVED EVERYTHING MYSELF Now, in November I get a bill for them for services done in May!!! Are you kidding me? No one answers the phone calls, you can't get live chat online with them, and no one replies to emailsThey are not a reputable people to do business with
