I cancelled a booking and my debit card was charged after I cancelled and I have not been refunded for $572.10.
On Sunday May 3rd I used myflightsearch to book a flight. I realized that the destination was incorrect so I called the customer service number and spoke to a representative that informed me that my booking had been cancelled. Then later the same evening I received an alert that my debit card had been charged $572.10. I called back and was told I will be refunded but I did not receive the money back in my account.

Desired Outcome

I would like to be refunded $572.10 for a cancelled booking.

I booked flight w/ "Myflightsearch.com on Sept. 30, 19. (Bookg no ***)
After many calls (14) and promises for a refund they failed to send it.
Chronology
9/30/19 booked flight with Myflightsesrch.com. Booking no. ***. $1066.40
10/20/19 rec'd email saying my flight was not yet "confirmed"
10/21/19 called MFS, told they would send my $ to *** to confirm my flight.
10/22/19 called *** Airlines. Told they had my "booking" but no confirmation (money) I was also told "some of these 3rd party flight agents hold your money until the last minute."
10/23/19 called MFS told they would send $ to ***. Didn't happen.
10/25/19 called MFS. WIll you refund if I cancel? Yes.
10/26/19 canceled flight w/MFS and booked a flight directly with ***. (Lesson learned) MFS promised a refund.
11/1/19 called MFS Asked about the status of my refund. Was told it was on the way.
11/5/19 same as above.
11/10/19 same as above
11/15/19 same as above
11/15-30/19 several calls asking about my refund was given Different answers with promises my refund was on its way.
12/1/19 called MFS. "We have processed your refund I will relieved it by Dec 30."
12/23-3/12/2020 went on my vacation using *** flights.
Still no refund.
3/15/20 called MFS. "We have finally received your money back from ***. You will get it by end of March.
4/3/20 Called MFS. "Your refund is being processed.
4/10/20 filed a claim through my ***
4/27/20 ***mailed their final report saying they could not recover my money from ***.
PS: my flight was charged on my *** card. I can provide this information upon request.

I've been waiting over two months for a refund for a flight. Every time I call for an update I'm left on hold for more than. 10 minutes.

I purchased tickets on this site and I am still waiting on my refund to be completed.
I purchased tickets on their website on 02/10/20. At the time I was not aware that their site was having technical issues in which I was charged twice for tickets both costing $523.63 each. I received the first refund on 02/24/20 which was for booking #***. I am still waiting on the balance to be refunded for booking #***. I keep being told that different stories by different customer reps. I have been waiting almost 3 months for a full refund from this company and to date I have received nothing. I send emails but no one responds, so I end up calling their number and sometimes I am on the phone anywhere between 30 - 45 mins waiting to speak to a customer service rep.

I would just like my money back, I am so tired of calling these people every week for an update and an answer to which I can never get.

Good morning,

I have received this response verbally every time I've spoken to someone about the issue. Nothing ever happens after those 10 - 14 days.

I'm hopefully pessimistic about these next 10 - 14 to see whether they come through this time.

An attahchment similar to the one received was received back in March advising that the funds would have been refunded between the 3rd and 9th of March 2020. To date that money has still not been received. So until there is an email stating my money has been successfully refunded or I see it on my bank statement, I will not be accepting any screenshots from my flight search. I have been more than patient and understanding but it has ran out with this company. They keep making promises and they never follow through with what they said they'd do. I want my money back!

Not able to travel due to unforeseen circumstances and the company will not refund the money paid even though the airline is refunding the fare
I bought six tickets for my family to fly round trip from *** to ***. We were going on a cruise from April 12-18,2020. My cruise ship was cancelled due to the spread of corona virus. There was no reason to fly to *** after the cruise was cancelled. I called the company to refund the flights due to the circumstances and the fact that the airlines were refunding all money due to non travel during this time. The company said they could only give me a credit and I would have to use it before December 2020. I no longer need flights as I have not booked another cruise and have no plans to travel within the rest of this year. I tried calling several times with no answer and no call back from the several voice mails left. I sent an email on March 20,2020 to explain circumstances and still no response. The booking number is *** and the PRN no is ***. The booking date was 09/10/2019. I paid $2277.94 total.

I am seeking a full refund since the airlines are issuing refunds due to Covid-19. Circumstances that were out of my control causing for a cancellation.

Request refund/credit informed credit would need to be used by Sept 2020. Then was informed I could have a year extension but would need to pay $100
Purchased ticket for race in *** during weekend of Jun 18 to Jun 22. Ticket paid on March 5 2020 in the amount of $324.84 by credit card, booking reference ***. I contacted this organization on Wednesday, April 22nd to request a refund/credit. Initially informed I could have a credit but would need to used by September 2020. I informed agent that's not possible and needed a refund. He then spoke with his supervisor who informed him to extend the credit for one year but I would need to pay an extra $100.

I would like to have my money refunded as the event that I planned to attend has cancelled due to the virus and don't believe that I should have to pay an extra $100 for a flight that was advertised at the price of $324.84.

I accept this response as I'm being refunded the full amount of $324.84 for my cancelled trip to *** due to the Corona virus.

If I could give zero stars I would. Rudest customer service EVER. I spoke to a "Travis G" because I needed to cancel my flight. Their website states that you can cancel your ticket within 24 hours of purchase. "Travis" was adamant that I could not cancel my flight, that I could only change the date, and that I would be charged an additional $100 fee! Their website does not mention such a thing. After going around in circles and him coming up with policies that made zero sense, I asked him to show me on the website where these policies are explained or listed and he refused, saying it was coming from his mouth, so therefore it was now a policy. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he claimed he was one. Frustrated, I finally contacted American Airlines where I canceled the flight no problem and received a full credit towards future flights within a year which he flat out LIED about saying that I wouldn't be able to do that through them. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Will NEVER purchase through them EVER again!

On March 23I booked a flight from *** to *** and on 3/24 my account was charged $434.01 and again on 3/26.
On 3/23/2020 I booked a flight from *** to *** round trip and on 3/24/2020 I was charged $434.01 and again on 3/26 for $434.01. I called and asked for a refund for one of the charges and instead she cancelled that flight and booked another and charged another $434.00. I am looking for a refund of $868.00 for the first flight booking. It has been almost a month without a refund even though I was assured that a refund was coming. This has not happened and after reading the reviews I am convinced that this is a scam. They need to be shut down as soon as po0ssible

I have not received the refund I was promised well over a month ago.
I was promised a refund well over a month ago. I have been told more than 4 times that my refund was processed. When I call after the allotted waiting time I am given a new excuse. Twice while waiting on hold they call me on my call waiting, they tell me some other excuse. I was told today that it was her personal phone number and to not call back. I was told today it would be at least 2 billing cycles till my refund would be given. I was also given a new reference #. I am getting the run around everytime I call. I just want the refund I was promised.

I have paid $477.54 for our tickets on feb 14,reservation was cancelled on 16th,they promised me to return my money in 1 weeks far they have not done.

Airlines sent my refund for a cancelled flight to airflightsearch, who refuses to send it to me.
I recently cancelled a flight with *** Airlines due to the Coronavirus outbreak. Airflightsearch was the travel agency I used. *** Airlines sent my refund to Airflightsearch and told me to contact them. When I call Airflightsearch I get a very bad connection with someone who speaks English very poorly. When I e-mail Airflightsearch I get no response. I finally spoke to one of their representatives who informed me that they have no record of my refund from *** Airlines and there was nothing they could do about it.

Purchased 4 airfare tickets. They took my money but never assigned flights so I called for a refund. They emailed sayin they would refund but neverdid
Purchased 4 airfare tickets at $300 each but never got the assigned flights. So after a week from not hearing from them I called l. They said that the flight was cancelled. So they needed more money to reschedule my flights. At that point I knew this was a scam. I requested a full refund but they said they could only refund me a portion. I asked to talk to a supervisor and waited over 35mins. Finally they said they would cancel my order. However it's been over a month afyer I received the email cancellation and no refund in my bank acct. This company is a scam.

Desired Outcome

I would like to be reimbursed for the $1500 that I paid for this family flight.

I do not accept this response because it's the same response I received before in email form and that was over a month ago. I have yet to recieve my full refund as stated in the email before and on this response. It does not take 10 to 14 days to refund someone there money. I want a full refund in the amount of $1500.15 this company is a scam and fraud.

My booking was canceled by the service. I requested to rebook the flight at which time I was told it would cost an additional $60.
When I contacted them to request a rebooking, I was told it would cost an additional $60. I do not believe I should be charged additional cost since I booked a month ago and the cancellation was not on my part. The representative (Lucas) stated I could not get a refund but credit for future flight was offered. I emphatically stated I did not want a credit for future flight, at which point, the representative hung up the phone before I stated my case - I do not need future credit because the reservation was for one way because my daughter and granddaughter are moving from *** to *** permanently and future flights are not necessary. It was rude and unprofessional to hang up on a customer prior to hearing their full concerns. I immediately called back and the same representative answered the phone. At this point, I requested to speak to a supervisor and was placed on hold for 57 minutes before the line was cut off - I assume the representative in question hung up the phone since I did not. The booking number is ***. This type of behavior and service is insulting and unwarranted.

I would like some type of financial reimbursement of my cost.

This resolution is acceptable. It gives me the resolution I was looking for. I suggest customer representatives (especially the person involved in this situation) be retrained in order to not have another customer experience this same issue/experience.

Was charged twice and just trying to get a refund for the one charge
Purchased Airline Tickets on 2-16-20 for a trip to Vegas in October this year. My booking number of the refund is *** and the amount is $1081.47. Was charged twice of the same amount. Email received on 3-13-20 that a refund was issued and will be credited to my credit card in 15 days.and it still hasn't.

Originally promised on March 13. Company makes excuses, false promises, and often just hangs up om me when I inquire about situation. Wy should it take longer than a few days to process a refund due to an "accidental" billing mistake. I truly believe that it was done intentionnally and they have no intention of issuing a refund. I am not the first person that was scammed by this company. It will be resolved when refund actually occurs.
